CT has been known to be as useful tool as exophthalmometry in measuring the degree of proptosis. Authors measured the degree of proptosis in 38 eyes of 19 normal Korean adult volunteers with CT and keeler exophthalomometry and calculated mean values and clarified their linear correlationship. The vertical distance from interzygomatic line to cornea on CT was between 14 and 16.8mm with their mean values of 15.6$\pm$0.92. Correlation test between these two methods showed positive correlationship (p=0/05) and their coefficient value was 0.41. Therefore it is proved that CT has no statistical difference on measuring the degree of proptosis as compared with exophthalmometry.

We investigated the diffraction grating efficiency by the Diode Pumped Solid State(DPSS 532 nm) laser beam wavelength to improve the diffraction efficiency on $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35},\;Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ and $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}/Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ thin film. Diffraction efficiency was obtained from DPSS laser, used (P:P)polarized laser beam on each thin films. As a result, for the laser beam intensity in $0.24mW/cm^2$, single $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ thin film shows the highest value of 0.161% diffraction efficiency at 300 s and for laser beam intensity in $2.4mW/cm^2$, it was recorded with the fastest speed of 50 s(0.013%), which the diffraction grating forming speed is faster than that of $0.24mW/cm^2$ beam. $Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ double layer and $As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}/Ag/As_{40}Ge_{10}Se_{15}S_{35}$ multi-layered thin film also show the faster grating forming speed at $2.4mW/cm^2$ and higher value of diffraction efficiency at $0.24mW/cm^2$.

근상피종은 주로 침샘에서 발견되는 드문 양성종양인데 특히 폐에서 기원하는 근상피종인 경우 대단히 드물어 방사선학적 소견 또한 제대로 정립되어 있지 않다. 저자들은 폐에서 기원한 근상피종 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하고자 한다. Myoepithelioma is a rare tumor composed of cells that are morphologically similar to myoepithelial cells. Myoepithelial tumors usually occur in major and minor salivary glands, though have also been found in sweat and mammary glands. Myoepithelioma very rarely originates in lung parenchyma, though can arise from tracheobronchial submucosal glands. We encountered a case of myoepithelioma originating in lung parenchyma, and report the CT findings, including the pathologic characteristics of the disease.

We investigated the diffraction efficiency, erasing property and rewriting property of diffraction grating with each wavelength of recording beam. A (P:P) polarized light was exposed on AsGeSeS and Ag/AsGeSeS thin film to form a diffraction grating by HeNe(635㎚) laser and DPSS(532㎚) laser. At the maximum efficiency condition, unpolarized HeNe laser beam was irradiated to erase tha generated diffraction grating. The HeNe laser showed more higher diffraction efficiency and the DPSS laser showed more faster diffraction grating time. At erasing and rewriting process, AsGeSeS(61%-85%)thin film showed better property than Ag doped Ag/AsGeSeS(53%-63%) double layer structured thin film.

A critical decision in the management of laryngeal carcinoma s the identification of metastasis to regional lymph modes. CT provides a unique, noninvasive technique for preciesely evaluating the deep extent of laryngeal carcinoma and the presence of lymphadenopathy. The computed tomography scans of 21 patients with laryngeal carinoma were reiviewed retrospectively to determine the relatioship between tumor extent and lymph node metastasis. The risk of lymph node metastasis was higher in massive tuor extendig beyond the larnx to involve soft tissues of neck.

In this paper, we investigated the properties of chalcogenide glass thin films formed by photo-inducing for use in 1-dimensional photonic crystals. We used Ag-doped amorphous As-Ge-Se-S thin films which belongs in the chalcogenide materials having sensitive photoluminescence properties. The purpose of this experiment is to form the holographic lattice for 1-dimensional photonic crystals. The way in which photo-induce into the amorphous chalcogenide thin films is holographic lithography method. We confirmed the formation of diffraction lattice by sensing the existence of diffraction beam and measured the diffraction efficiency. The results suggest that there is an application possibility with photonic crystals.
