The Communal ritual space is found at most of traditional villages in Korea. It is related with village space in terms of territoriality and ritual behavior. The objective of this study is to clarify the architectural characteristics of the ritual space, and the interrelation between ritual space and village space.The consequences of this study are as follows; Each of three domains in Hahoe village has its ritual space. The three ritual spaces are classified into two, differently in terms of different criteria, which is compatible with generally admitted ‘dual structure (Upper Ritual House / Lower Ritual House)’ of the ritual space. The orientations of Seonang-Dang and Guksa-Dang are decided by the ritual dedicatee. And the ritual space is located in consideration of the circulation and axis in village space. Samsin-Dang, the Lower Ritual House, is located at the center of housing site that is the topographically highest place, and it has influence on the layout of neighboring houses.

N/A Serum ferritin concentrations in adult patients with various types of leukemia were studied in order to evaluate the relation between changes in serum ferritin level and the clinical course of leukemia. The subjects were composed of 103 cases of various types of leukemia in which 52 cases were AML, 30 cases ALL, and 21 cases CML. The determination of serum ferritin concentration was made by using a GammaDab®[125I] ) Ferritin Radioimmunoassay Kit. The mean values of serum ferritin concentration in normal control were 89.6±15.3(M±S.E.)ng/ml in male and 5S.18.2ng/ml in female. The mean values of serum ferritin concentration in leukemia at presentation were 607.0±88.1ng/ml in AML, 507.5±124.2ng/ml in ALL, and 233.5±49.8ng/ml in CML. There was no significant changes in the mean serum ferritin concentration during the clinical course of acute leukemia, The mean serum ferritin concentration was conspicuously increased in the blastic phase of CML, whereas that of the chronic phase was within the normal range. In acute leukemia, the increased serum ferritin concentration was not correlated with total white blood cell count, peripheral blood blast count, serum iron, TIBC, transferrin concentration, serum transaminase level, or the number of units of blood transfused. There was, however, a positive significant correlation between serum ferritin concentration and serum iron concentration in the chronic phase of CML.
점탄성 조절제 사용에 의한 고농도 도공 및 에너지 절감에 관한 연구

High solid coating color is very attractive for practical paper coating applications to reduce the energy consumption of the entire coating process. However, when a large amount of calcium carbonate pigment was used, it has been difficult to control the water retention, the coating amount and the runnability of coating color. In this study, the surface properties and printability of the coated paper were analyzed by applying rheology modifier as well as viscoelastic modifier in order to improve the fluidity of the coating color of 68% and 71% solids contents. As a result, both the low shear viscosity and the high shear viscosity of the coating color for top-coating were improved by the application of the viscoelastic modifier regardless of the conditions of coating formulation and the solid content. When the solid content was increased from 68% to 71%, it was confirmed that the combination of the rheology modifier and the viscoelastic modifier can reduce or eliminate the use of starch and clay while maintaining low shear viscosity. The high shear viscosity tended to increase when the solids content increased to 71%, but it was confirmed that the application of viscoelastic modifier could reduce the high shear viscosity. In addition, when the clay was excluded and the solid content was increased, the effect of improving the smoothness, paper gloss, printability, ink set-off and ink trapping of the coated paper were obtained by using the viscoelastic modifier. Ultimately, when the solids content of the coating color was increased from 68% to 71%, it was possible to improve not only the physical properties and printability of the coated paper but also the energy consumption.
