In this study, intermolecular interactions were investigated for increasing the charge carrier mobility of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) based on a conjugated polymer. A diketopyrrolopyrrole (DPP)-based conjugated polymer widely used in OFETs, i.e., poly[2,5-(2-octyldodecyl)-3,6-diketopyrrolopyrrole-alt-5,5-(2,5-di(thien-2- yl)thieno[3,2-b]thiophene)] (PDPP-DTT), was assembled using 2-bromobenzaldehyde (2-BBA) and used as an active layer for OFETs. Morphological characterization and analysis for non-covalent intermolecular interactions suggested that the halogen bonding between the bromide of 2-BBA and electron-donor group of PDPP-DTT and the association between the electron-acceptor group in 2-BBA and sulfur of PDPP-DTT improved the hole transfer in the PDPP-DTT-based OFETs. The intermolecular interactions resulting from the addition of 2-BBA contributed to the two-fold enhancement of the hole mobility, two-order increase in magnitude of the current on/off ratio, and 50% decrease in the threshold voltage of the OFETs based on PDPP-DPP.

This paper focuses on the after synthesis of CdTe quantum dots(QDs) in aqueous solution. CdTe nanoparticles were prepared in aqueous solution using mercaptocarboxylic acid or thioglycolic acid(TGA) as stabilizing agents. QDs emit light smaller than the nano size. The contents of the mercaptocarboxylic acid, and a kind of raw material, were revealed for a period of time. We succeeded in synthesizing a very high quality QDs solution; we discussed how to make QDs better and to keep them stabilized. TGA is known as one of the best stabilizing agents. Many papers have mentioned that TGA is a good stabilizing agent. We dramatically confirmed the state of QDs after the experiments. The QDs solution can be influenced by several factors. Different content of TGA can influence the stability of the CdTe solution. Most papers deal with the synthesis of CdTe, so we decided to discuss the after synthesis process for the stability of the CdTe solution.

The investigation is directed to lead free (Pb-free) frits that can be used for organic light emitting diode, plasma display screen devices and other sealing materials. $P_2O_5$-SnO system glasses have been prepared for Pb-free low temperature glass frit. Structure and properties of the glasses with the composition SnO-$xB_2O_3-(60-x)P_2O_5$ (x=0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 mol%) were characterized by infrared spectra (IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD), Density, Molar volume, Thermo mechanical analysis(TMA) and weight loss after immersion test. Glass transition temperature($T_g$), dilatometric softening temperature($T_d$) and chemical durability increased, and coefficient of thermal expansion($\alpha$) decrease with the substitution of $B_2O_3$ for $P_2O_5$ in the range of 0~25 mol%.
