        공예의 역사는 실용공예에서 출발한다. 인간은 몸을 보호하거나 의식주의 문제를 해결하기 위한 생활도구로서 필요한 물건을 가공하기 시작했고, 역사의 흐름과 더불어 기술적 경험 또한 축적되어 왔다. 이렇듯 기본생활욕구에서 출발한 도구는 점차 생활환경에 깊숙이 침투하며, 시대적 감성이나 미적 감각을 반영한 공예품으로 자리 잡으며 하나의 문화로 형성하게 되었다. 초기 소량생산과 수공예로 형성된 공예문화는 현대에 이르러 대형화되고 가속화된 사회적 흐름과 소비계층의 경제적 상승에 의한 소비의 증가로 인해 일품공예개념의 소멸현상이 야기되었고, 기계화되고 산업화된 대량생산 공예가 새롭게 등장하게 되었다. 이것은 점차 장식성의 배제와 기능주의 선호경향, 테크닉의 고도화, 경제성 지향, 물질주의, 대량생산체계의 합리화, 이윤추구 등으로 산업의 발전을 가져왔지만 새로운 문화 창조의 원동력이 될 민족문화의 유산을 보존하고 계승하지는 못함으로서 전통과의 맥이 끊어진 채 급진적인 확대와 변모된 모습으로 발전되어 가고 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 산업적 대량생산공예의 체제 속에 전통적 생산체제의 공방제품이 현대 사회 속에 어떻게 접목되어 흡수되고 발전해 가야할지에 대해 연구해 보고자 한다. 현재의 한국공예시장의 현주소와 공예시장의 새로운 가능성, 생활 공예품의 유통경로와 공방제품의 판로 등 공예시장에 대한 분석을 통해 문제점을 파악하고 공예품의 활성화 방안에 대한 바람직한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. The history of industrial arts starts in practical craft. Human began to make his/her tools more sharply for protecting his/her bodies and solving the necessaries of his/her life such as food, clothing and shelter. And technological experience also had been accumulated along with flow of the history. A tool that he/she made from his/her basis life desire was permeating into deep in his/her living environment gradually. It, also, was settling down as industrial art objects that reflect a sense of the time or aesthetic sense, and formed its own culture. At the first time, industrial arts culture that had been formed by small quantity production and handicraft is now accelerating its size to large. An extinction phenomenon of the excellent industrial arts concept was provoked caused by accelerate a flow of the society and increase of consumption, which was results from the economic upswing in consumption class. Newly, mass production industrial arts that is mechanized and is industrialized was appeared. This issues brought a big development of industry such as exclusion of fanciness, functionalism preference tendency, more advanced technique, economic performance intention, materialism, rationalization of mass production system, pursuit of profits and etc; however, it has been developed gradually the way different than their expects with a radical transfiguration in extension and feature due to a fact that could not preserve and inherit our tradition, which is a motive power of new culture creation. Therefore, in this treatise, we'd like to research into that how an industrial art in traditional production system is assimilated and is connected together in modern society of industrial system of mass production industrial arts. Also we will find out some problems through the analysis of industrial arts market such as a present situation in Korean industrial arts market, new possibility of industrial arts market, channel of distribution and market of workshop product. And we will lay a course of desirable direction in activation plan of industrial art.

      • 전시공간의 다중매체 혼용에 관한 연구

        This thesis presents two separate contexts of constituent cases on exhibition space. The first is the composite use of multimedia and, the second, the ideal constitution of the exhibition scenario which maximizes the final exhibition impression. -The First Context : The process of applying human perception and cognition to the design of exhibition space is a necessity while being a means of maximizing the effects of the exhibition. It is also, in itself, a fun procedure. Only when full space perceptive and cognitive mechanisms are combined can the aimed message of the exhibition be maximized. Formerly unexperienced new expressive factors may also be sometimes created through the combination and composition of existing phenomena. -The Second Context : There is, to a certain degree, a fixed sequence to how people interpret space. The perception of space is not wholly a continuation of involuntary reactions towards eternal stimuli. It, on the other hand, possesses the nature of active intellectual exploration. One fine example of the characteristics of perception and cognition is that : A material objects exists within its relationship with its surrounding environment. Perception and cognition are not only means of seeing a material object surrounded in its environment but are results of aggregate actions and reactions related with complex perceptions; a mental image. Even when all given conditions for media and exhibition software are equal, different results may occur due to the difference in the allocation of the time / space sequence. The appropriate composition of the combination of information; its metaphorical / frank expression, swiftness / slowness, simplicity / complexity, effects the optimum of the aimed impression of the exhibition. Following the contexts mentioned above, interactive mixtures of the media that appeal to human sensitivity must be continuously adjusted by comparing input and output results to reach the optimal solution.

        Craft, reflecting the life style of man, have been developed into various aspects. It has been enlarged in such a sphere of environmental formative work that craft is not only the role of utility but a message. It means that we intend to restore humanity through representing character and creating space in mechanized and monotonous circumstances of modern society. In the future, metal craftsmen will create their environmental formative works, considering of next each points. They must try to find suitable constructional form by understanding of intrinsic nature to material and physical characteristics. Also craftsmen will explore the method of expression and formative language which give new interpretation and order to object through thinking and positive research for it's nature. To represent spiritual inner world by recognizing new value of men, they have to develope forming ability which artist's aesthetic experience and image can be harmonized by balancing matter and spirit, compounding image and idea. Therefore, Metal Craftsmen will do formative work with their social role and pride which create circumstances for man and cultural substance.

        Multivariate Characterization of Common and Durum Wheat Collections Grown in Korea using Agro-Morphological Traits

        Developing improved wheat varieties is vital for global food security to meet the rising demand for food. Therefore, assessing the genetic diversity across wheat genotypes is crucial. This study examined the diversity of 168 durum wheat and 47 common wheat collections from 54 different countries using twelve agro-morphological parameters. Geumgang, a prominent Korean common wheat variety, was used as a control. Both qualitative and quantitative agronomical characteristics showed wide variations. Most durum wheats were shown to possess dense spikes (90%), while common wheats showed dense (40%) or loose (38%) spikes, with yellowish-white being the dominant spike color. The majority of the accessions were awned regardless of wheat type, yellowish-white being the main awn color. White or red kernels were produced, with white kernels dominating in both common (74%) and durum (79%) wheats. Days to heading (DH) and days to maturity (DM) were in the ranges of 166–215 and 208–250 days, respectively, while the culm length (CL), spike length (SL), and awn length (AL) were in the ranges of 53.67–163, 5.33–18.67, and 0.50–19.00 cm, respectively. Durum wheats possessed the shortest average DH, DM, and SL, while common wheat had the longest CL and AL (p < 0.05). Common wheats also exhibited the highest average one-thousand-kernel weight. Hierarchical cluster analysis, aided by principal component analysis, grouped the population into seven clusters with significant differences in their quantitative variables (p < 0.05). In conclusion, this research revealed diversity among common and durum wheat genotypes. Notably, 26 durum wheat and 17 common wheat accessions outperformed the control, offering the potential for developing early-maturing, high-yielding, and lodging-resistant wheat varieties.

        밀 붉은곰팡이병 저항성 유전 육종 주요 연구동향

        Fusarium head blight (FHB) is a severe disease of wheat, mainly caused by Fusarium graminearum, which greatly reduces wheatproduction and directly affects human and animal health due to the mycotoxins produced in wheat grains. To develop high-quality, stableyields, and mycotoxin-free crop, it is essential to first understand the genetic basis of wheat FHB-resistance, and to design molecular markersfacilitating the selection of FHB-resistant varieties. However, despite extensive global research efforts, genetic research and marker developmentfor the selection of FHB-resistant varieties, in Korea, are insufficient. Here, we summarize recent studies on FHB-resistance genes, resistanceresources, quantitative trait locus analysis, and genome-wide association studies to enhance our understanding of FHB and the breeding ofFHB-resistant domestic wheat cultivars.
