We consider an alternating offer model where the size of the to-tal surplus is stochastic. Furthermore, the size changes during the time when the offer is being considered. As a result the responder may obtain more information than the proposer. We analyze how the asymmetry in ability to access good information affects the bargaining power, both in terms of the resulting share and in terms of the delay in agreement.

It is challenging to respond to multiple fire requests during military operations. Many studies have attempted to tackle this problem as an optimization problem for fire time scheduling that minimizes the firing time. Meanwhile, infantry mortars in the battle have many unexpected targets than scheduled targets due to short fire range. Besides, there are various limitations for mortar positions that provide enough firing space as a large portion of the Korean peninsula is mountainous. In this study, the operation of mortar company was analyzed through a priority queuing model to provide an efficient structure of the company that minimizes fire response time considering geological characteristics of operations encountered by the Korea Army. A simulation model was also given to apply our model to the real situation as well as verify the analytic model.

As a promising catalyst reducing cold start emissions of automobiles, a photocatalyst system has been studied. Since the photocatalyst is only activated by UV wavelength light, it needs no heat energy like a conventional TWC, therefore no light-off time. However, as a cold temperature catalyst to treat cold start emissions of a vehicle, previous studies on characteristics of photocatalyst have room for improvement in terms of performance and durability subject to aging conditions and exhaust gas conditions.<br/> In this study, additive catalysts for photocatalyst have been investigated from the viewpoints of performance and durability improvement. Eleven different coating samples were prepared with the combination of six kinds of additives and two kinds of photocatalyst materials. Then these samples were aged with a hydrothermal aging process. The performance of these samples was measured on a model gas apparatus with simulated exhaust gases. The durability was also analyzed with XRD<br/>
LDPE-나노 ZnO 복합필름의 기능성 및 재질안정성 평가

In this work, nano ZnO was introduced into low density poly ethylene (LDPE) composites films with various contents (0, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0 and 5.0 wt%) by melt-extrusion. Their basic properties such as crystallinity, chemical bonds and surface morphology were examined by XRD, FTIR and SEM. XRD patterns and FTIR peaks intensity were increased in proportion to the ZnO contents. SEM images showed well dispersed nano ZnO in LDPE composite films. Antimicrobial functionality of LDPE-nano ZnO composite films was also studied and the presence of nano ZnO resulted in significant improvement of antimicrobial functionality compared to the pure LDPE film. To evaluate influence of nano ZnO on LDPE properties required as packaging material, thermal, mechanical, gas barrier and optical properties of LDPE-nano ZnO composite films were characterized with various analytical techniques including TGA, UTM, OTR, WVTR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. As a result, except optical and mechanical properties of LDPE, no significant effects were found in other properties. Opacity of pure LDPE was greatly increased with increasing concentration of nano ZnO and tensile strength was also improved at 0.5wt% ZnO content.

In this work, the effects of nano $TiO_2$ on functionality and stability of low density polyethylene (LDPE) composite films were investigated for food packaging application. LDPE-nano $TiO_2$ composite films were prepared with various $TiO_2$ contents (0, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0 and 5.0wt%) by melt-extrusion and their basic properties such as crystallinity, chemical bonds and surface morphology were examined by XRD, FTIR and SEM. Ultraviolet (UV) light barrier property of as-prepared LDPE-nano $TiO_2$ composite films was also studied and the presence of nano $TiO_2$ resulted in significant improvement of UV light barrier compared to the pure LDPE film.
