        An automatic pronunciation correction system provides learners with correction guidelines for each mispronunciation. For this purpose we propose a speech recognizer which automatically classifies pronunciation errors when Koreans speak a foreign language. Also, to develop methods for automatic assessment of pronunciation quality, we propose a log-likelihood based score and a language model based score as machine scores in the speech recognizer. Scores obtained from an expert human listener are used as the reference to evaluate the machine scores and to provide targets when training some of algorithms. Experimental results show that the language model based score had higher correlation with human scores than that obtained using the log-likelihood based score.

      • 絲狀菌을 이용한 glucon 酸 醱酵에 關한 硏究

        The work was carried out to investigate the effective conditions of gluconic acid fermentation using glucose and mold. 231 strains of mold (fungi) were isolated from 45 kinds of soil samples and a typical strain which has a high activity of glucosic acid fermentation was selected in the fermentation experiment. And obtained results were as in the following. 1.The selected strain was indentified as Asp. niger group and preyed its excellent activity of gluconic acid fermentation. 2.Optimum pH in the gluconic acid fermentation wart found between 4.5 to 5.5 and optimum temperature nearly 30℃. 3.The most effective starting concentration of glucose was 15% and reasonable period of shaking culture was between 48 to 60 hours in the preculturing. 4.When 0.03%∼0.04% of (NH4)2HPO4 and 0.2∼0.3% of NaNO3 were added as a nitrogen source, 5% more gluconic acid were gained. But urea and peptone were slightly effective in the fermentation. 5.By adding 0.01∼0.02% of MgSO4ㆍ7H2O 7% more gluconic acid was gained and 0.03∼0.04% of KH2PO4 produced 5% more gluconic acid in the fermentation, while FeSO4 concentration iuhibited the fermentation. 6.Optimum conditions of jar fermentation were as followings. i) Air supplying quantity : 300∼500ml/l/min. ii) Agitating speed ; 300∼400r.p.m iii) Effective quantity of adding CaCO3 ; 3∼4% 7.During 6 days of gluconic acid fermentation, the ratio of fermentation was 83.5%.

        Measuring the Efficiency of Maritime Transport Companies

        Purpose - This paper evaluated the efficiency performance of the three major maritime transport markets and examined the determinants of the performance. The firms’ revenue fluctuates with the changes of the economic cycle; hence it is important for them to set up business strategies to improve efficiencies. A lack of efficiency measurements for shipping firms leads to a significant gap in determining their overall performance. Research design, data, and methodology - Each of DEA scores was adopted for the evaluation and panel regression was used to examine the impact of determinants on the performance. The analysis included 50 shipping firms from three maritime transport markets as follows; 15 firms of container liners, 18 firms of bulk carrier and 17 firms of tanker carriers, and its period was from 2010 to 2016. Results - In the CCR model, container liners were the highest, tanker carriers were the second, and bulk carriers were the lowest in operation efficiency and financial efficiency. By region, operation efficiency and financial efficiency was high in the order of America, Asia, and Europe. Conclusions - This study suggests business strategies for maritime transport companies based on the analytical results of determinants of operational and financial efficiency.

        시판 정제산소제를 이용한 탁주제조에 관한 연구 (제이보) 탁주의 품질검토

        시판정제효소제(당정)와 L. bulgaricus를 이용하여 탁주류를 제조하면서 성분분석과 품질을 검토하였다. 1. 유기산의 함양에 있어서, 밀가루, 옥수수, 팔, 눌린 보리쌀 등 4종류의 원요를 통하여 917~1,350mg/ml의 lactic acid가 생성되었으며 succinic acid는 6~32mg/100m1이다. 종내의 누주중의 유기담으로서 는 lactic acid와 succinic acid가 대표적으로 많이 합유된 유기산인데 비하면 suceinic acid의 함양은 현저하게 적다. 이외에 종내의 탁주에서 검출되여 알려진 유기산에는 citric acid, malic acid, maleic acid, fumaric, malonic acid, oxalic acid 등이 있으며, citric acid와 malic acid는 비교적 그외의 산보다 많은데 비하여 본실험의 것에서는 fumaric acid와 malonic acid는 검출되지 않았였고 눌린 보리쌀을 사용했을때, 6.5mg/100m1의 citric acid를, 그리고 밀가루와 옥수수를 사용하였을때 각각 1.7 mg/100ml와 1.4 mg/ml의 malic acid를 생성하였을뿐 그외는 흔적으로 검출되었다. 2. fusel oil의 조성은 원요와 효소제의 종유에 관계없이 대동소이하다. 즉, i-amyl alcohol는 (1.50~2.77)$\times$$10^{-2}$g/100m1로서 공통적으로 가장 많고, i-butyl alcohol는 (0.68~1.30)$\times$$10^{-2}$g/100m1이며 n-propyl alcohol는 (0.20~0.34)$\times$$10^{-2}$g/100m1, $\beta$-phenyl ethyl alcohol는 0.18$\times$$10^{-2}$g/100m1 이하의 순으로 적다. 종내의 효소제에 의한 것도 누룩을 사용하였을때 0.70$\times$$10^{-2}$g/100m1의 $\beta$-phenyl ethyl alcohol을 예외로 하면 각각 상기범전에 들어있다. 3. 아미노산의 조성분은 홍등의 실험에서와 같이 17종을 함유하고 있으며 총아미노기양에 있어서 본실험의 것이 31mg/100m1로서 비교적 적으나 주유의 조미성분으로서 중요한 glycine과 alanine이 0.6023 mg/100m1와 4.3129 ml/100ml 검출되었다. The chemical components and quality of Takjoo mash were examined on the product brewed by the case of commercial amylase, Lactobacillus bulgaricus and the yeast. 1. Lactic acid was produced at the range of 917~1,350 mg per 100 ml of the mash brewed using wheat flour, corn flour, rice and pressed barley, while succinic acid was formed at the range of 6~32 mg per 100m1 of the mash. 2. Citric acid was formed at the concentration of 6.5mg per 100m1 of the mash on the use of pressed barley, and malic acid formed at the concentration of 1.7 mg and 1.4 mg per 100m1 of the mash respectively, on the use of wheat flour and corn flour. 3. No remarkable differences between the kind of raw materials and commercial amylases and compared with the mash brewed with Nurook were observed in the components of fusel oil formed in the mash. 4. Seventeen kinds of the amino acids of the mash brewed with commercial amylase, Lactobacillus and the yeast were detected and its content was 31mg per 100ml, which is less than that of the conventional takjoo, but the contents of glycine and alanine which pray as the component of seasoning in takjoo were sufficient.

        우리나라 항만공사 경영전략평가와 시사점

        Purpose : This study aims to propose measures for enhancing management performance by examining the similarities and differences between the management goals and strategies of port authorities. Research design, data, methodology : The data used in this study was obtained and analyzed from the public institution management information disclosure system(www.alio.go.kr) and the information disclosed on each Port Authority’s official website. Results : The management strategy of a public institution refers to the overall operational plan of the organization, incorporating its core values, principles, mission, vision, and strategic objectives. Conclusions : By examining the management objectives and strategies of various port public enterprises, which operate in related industries, this study aims to analyze the direction each institution is pursuing and evaluate their management performance by identifying similarities and differences.
