일본 도시정비에 있어서 사회실험의 특성 및 시사점 연구

This article makes a research on the characteristics and lessons of social experiment in Japan, in order to identify problems and propose solutions for proper urban development in Korea. Using the article and hearing survey, issues related to the social experiments. This study found four characteristics of social experiments in Japan: 1) transportation polices have been changed from traffic congestion oriented policy to pedestrian and bicycle oriented policy; 2) strengthening of introduction for transit mall connected with revitalization of city center; 3) contents of social experiments have been evolved from conceptional business to specific business 4) Non Profit Organization as well as local government can take part in policy making.

This article makes a research on the characteristics and lessons of traffic data report for New York State, in order to identify problems and propose solutions for managing statistics quality of traffic data report for Busan Metropolitan City using the article and hearing survey, issues related to the statistics quality management of traffic data report. This study found five lessons of traffic data report for New York State: 1) traffic data report for Busan Metropolitan City should be survey under relating to Korea Transportation Data Base of central government; 2) Busan's report must show the statistical precision of traffic data; 3) traffic volume adjustment factors are needed through introducing Continuous Count Program; 4) Statistics Quality Management Programs are continued for developing quality of traffic data report for Busan Metropolitan City; 5) various display systems are needed for enlarging users of statistics.

시간공간점유량 이론의 개발과 응용 방안

This study tries to introduce a new concept that does not rise to notice well in Korean society as an integration index which is include the time and space concept. Therefore, the purposes of this study are 1) to introduce the concept and terminology about Time-Space Occupancy Volume(TSOV), 2) to suggest each units of TSOV of transportation modes for calculating modules of TSOV, 3) to develop the general equations of TSOV under the conditions of free flow speed and congestion flow speed. Finally, it is tried to show the validation of TSOV concept by using the consumption patterns of each transportation modes as an application method to the urban transportation study.

This article makes a research for improving statistics quality of traffic data report for Busan Metropolitan City (BMC) by Statistics Quality Management(SQM). This research get the characteristics and lessons of traffic data report for BMC using mainly the two kinds of interview those are Focus Group Interview and User Satisfying Survey in order to identify problems and propose solutions. This study suggest ten things for improving traffic data report for BMC : 1) traffic data report for BMC should survey under relating to Korea Transportation Data Base of central government; 2) Change of report’s name and survey contents; 3) Make sure of Busan's report style; 4) Link to MLTM web site; 5) Redesign of survey sheets and making survey manual; 6) Strengthen for propaganda; 7) Making user friend data system; 8) Continuing of SQM by users; 9) Need policy report using traffic data.

Almost of Korean Cities have been experienced decline of old urban center. One of the main reasons of decline is the traffic jam in the city center because of small width roads and short of transportation facilities. Old urban center is no more attractive place by air pollution and noise to peoples. Therefore each city government is trying to develope the urban center through introducing of several policies for examples those development of old market places' facilities, making parking lots, making public relations and etc. However it seems not enough to overcome problems of decline of old city center. Therefore, this study first will argue the backgrounds of decline of old urban center, second will show the European cities' solution for this problem. Finally, desirable transportation policy will be suggested for Chungju that have been experienced already.

시외버스 운전자의 안전교육 문화에 관한 연구: 휠체어 장착 버스를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to improve the driver's ability to work by improving the manual instructions for driver compliance and response measures in case of an emergency, and to improve the satisfaction of the traffic weak using wheelchair bound vehicles. In terms of checks for preparations and confirmation of occupancy information, the success of the carrier-lift bus program depends on the attitude and behavior of the transit personnel in contact with the wheelchair user. The driver shall have patience and flexibility, passion, emotional stability, kindness, understanding and empathy. Check the preparations first, check the safety regulations, carry out a daily inspection, and start work. To gain an understanding of powered wheelchairs, learn their types and operation. It checks the wheelchair occupant information and reaffirms the drivers compliance. The study was intended to explore how these sector-based education cultures may influence the consciousness and behaviour of bus drivers in suburban areas. And by identifying the difference between bus drivers and the general public's responses in situations that threaten safety, it was confirmed which safety education manual the bus driver needs. 본 연구의 목적은 운전자의 준수사항 및 유사시 대응방안을 매뉴얼 화하여 운전자의 업무능력 함양하고, 교통약자 이동지원 차량을 이용하는 교통약자의 만족도 향상하는 데 있다. 준비사항 점검 및 탑승자 정보 확인 관점에서 휠체어리프트를 장착 시외/고속버스 프로그램의 성공 여부는 휠체어 이용자와 접촉하고 있는 운수종사들의 태도와 행동에 달려 있다. 운전자는 인내심과 유연성, 열정, 정서적 안정성, 친절함, 이해 및 공감능력을 가지고 있어야 한다. 먼저 준비사항 점검하면서 안전 수칙을 확인하고, 일상점검 실시 및 업무를 개시한다. 그리고 전동휠체어에 대한 이해를 위해 그 종류와 조작방법을 익힌다. 또한 휠체어 탑승자 정보를 확인하며, 운전자의 준수사항을 재확인한다. 이러한 매뉴얼 기반 교육문화가 시외버스 운전자의 의식과 행동에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 이 연구에서 탐구하고자 하였다. 한편, 안전을 위협하는 상황에서 버스기사와 일반인의 대응 방식의 차이를 규명함으로써, 버스기사에게 특히 어떤 안전교육 매뉴얼이 필요한지 검증하였다.

충주시 견인자동차 운영제도 도입에 관한 연구

In the past 10 years, the number of motor vehicles in Chungju has increased tremendously. This has led to worsened traffic conditions in not only arterial roads but also in backroads. A narrowed road network in downtown and illegal on-street parking cars are enumerated as main reasons for this bad traffic condition. Therefore, even Chungju Government made a municipal ordinance about the management of pulling truck for illegal parking(MPTIP), the introduction has delayed because of political conditions. Thus, this paper argues that the MPTIP must be placed in its larger programmatic, administrative and financial framework for it to be an effective way toward bringing about livable Chungju for the future.

The purpose of this study is to compare with characteristics of transportation modes by the sight of woman who are transportation poor. One of the most important philosophy of transportation policy is equity in the 21st century. However main stream of transportation policies in many cities is still strongly focused on men rather than women who occupy the half of mankind. Therefore this study is arguing the limit of transportation right for women through investigation of the characteristics of transportation modes to improve the city govemment's transportation policies as a case study of Daejeon city.
