조선왕조실록에 실려 있는 졸년기사는 당시의 인물연구에 큰 도움이 되는 전기자료이다. 물론 조선시대 인물에 관한 한 당시에 편찬된 각종의 전기자료가 전해 오고 있으며 이 밖에도 족보라든가 문집 등을 통하여서도 적지 않은 자료를 구할 수가 있다. 아마도 이러한 이유 때문에 실록에 실려 있는 전기자료는 별로 주목을 받지 못하였던 것이 아닌가 한다. 그러나 실록의 졸년기사는 그것대로 자료로서의 가치가 있다고 생각한다. 왜냐하면 다른 데서는 구할 수 없는 전기자료가 상당히 많아서 당시의 인물연구에 중요한 보탬이 되기 때문이다. 물론 여기에서 제시하는 색인은 실록 전체를 대상으로 한 것이 아니라, 태조실록에서 중종실록까지만을 대상으로 한 것이다. 따라서 이러한 자료가 이용되기 편리한 형태로 정리되어야 할 필요가 있다고 생각한다. 기왕에 국사편집위원회에서 1977년에 편찬한 조선왕조실록 총색인에도 적지 않은 수의 졸년기사가 정리되어 있기는 하다. 그러나 누락된 것도 매우 많거니와, 정리된 것도 해당 권수와 페이지만 나와 있어서 찾아보기가 어렵게 되어 있다. 그러므로 이와 같은 색인을 만들어 볼 생각을 하게 된 것이다.

The Concept of Fit in Technological Innovation Research

The concept of fit is widely adopted for constructing theories in the technological innovation literature. However, a unique framework on strategic fit has not yet been developed particularly for the field of technological innovation. The purpose of this paper is to provide a framework of the fit concept for technology innovation research. Based on reviewing literature of the fit concept in various fields, this study presents a conceptual scheme that incorporates nine specific concepts of fit based on two axes: characteristics of relationship, which includes consistency, compatibility, and complementarity, and domains of components, which includes internal, external, and integrated aspects. This study presents in detail the theoretical definitions and attributes of the nine concepts and also suggests an appropriate empirical methodology for each of them. This paper contributes to relieve confusions or misuse on the concept of fit and lead to develop theories using this concept more effectively.

조직 탐색행동과 제휴 포트폴리오의 전략적 정합성 : 양손잡이(Ambidexterity) 전략의 접근

이 연구에서는 상황적 접근(Contingency approach)를 통해, 제휴 포트폴리오 다양성과 조직 탐색행동의 양손잡이 전략(Ambidexterity)과 기업의 혁신성과의 관계에 대해 새로운 시각을 제 시한다. 미국 제조업 124 개 회사의 제휴 포트폴리오 및 특허 활동에 대한 데이터를 사용하여 조직 포트폴리오의 다양성은 조직 탐색 행동과 탐험(Exploration) 및 활용(Exploitation) 면에서 상반된 방향을 추구할 때 기업 차원의 혁신에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 점을 증명한다. 구체적 으로, 활용적 탐색을 추구하는 조직의 경우는 제휴 포트폴리오가 다양성이 높을수록 기업 차원 의 혁신 성과를 높일 수 있다. 반대로 탐험적 탐색을 추구하는 조직은 제휴 포트폴리오 다양성 이 낮을수록 혁신성과를 높일 수 있다. 산업의 변동성은 혁신성과에 대한 양손잡이 효과를 더욱 심화하는 것으로 나타났다. This study presents a new perspective on the relationship between alliance portfolio diversity and organizational search behavior on firm innovation performance through a contingency approach. Using data on the alliance portfolio and patent activities of 124 US manufacturing firms, the diversity of alliance portfolio is positively associated with firm innovation performance when pursuing ambidextrous directions with organizational search behavior. Specifically, in the case of an organization seeking exploitative search, the higher the alliance portfolio diversity, the higher the innovation performance of the firm. Conversely, organizations seeking exploratory search can increase innovation performance as the alliance portfolio diversity is lower. Industrial volatility has been shown to moderate the effects of alliance portfolio diversity on innovation performance in both cases of explorative and exploitative search of organization.

In this paper, we propose a new method which estimates the initial position of a PM synchronous motor (PMSM) using an incremental ecoder. in cremental encoders are widely used in detecting rotor position since they are inexpensive. At starting procedure, however, the incremental encoders cannot give the information of the absolute rotor position. Hence, additional absolue encoder, which has $60^{\circ}C$ resolutio electrically, and signal lines called U, V, W, have been used in practical systems for starting injection of a high frequency test current. It does not require any additional information such as U, V, W signals for starting procedure and allows for cheap and simple implementation. Experimental results show that the proposed method can estimate the initial rotor positon with higher accuracy than the conventional method using U, V, W signals.

Strategic Leadership in the Era of Disruptive Innovation

The uncertainties caused by digital technology are surrounding our business environment. A new kind of leadership with a focus on disruptive innovation is required for organizations to gain a competitive edge in the digital era. In this regard, Cisco Systems has been the most aggressive and agile in developing disruptive innovation. Ex-president of Cisco, John T. Chambers was the man at the vanguard throughout the journey. He led Cisco from the mid-1990s when the Internet just emerged, leading disruptive innovation. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is upon us now, and we are catching glimpses of even bigger changes in the environment; a strategic response to disruptive innovation has never been more important than right now. Against this backdrop, I interviewed John T. Chambers, former president of Cisco Systems. The purpose of this article is to disseminate the full text of that interview.

기술창업과 국가 혁신효능(Innovation efficacy)의 관계에 대한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 국가혁신시스템(National innovation system) 이론에 기반해 국가의 혁신성과를향상시키는 요인에 대해 실증 데이터를 기반으로 분석하여 새로운 시사점을 제시하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 국가별 기술적 기업가정신 활동비중이 최근 국가 혁신성과 지표로 많이 활용되고 있는 혁신효능(Innovation efficacy)에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 관계를 지식이전(Knowledge transfer)환경이어떻게 조절하는지 분석한다. 82개국의 국가 차원의 데이터를 토대로 패널데이터 회귀분석기법으로 분석한 결과, 국가 내 기술적 기업가정신 활동비중과 국가의 혁신효능은 U모양의 비선형관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지식이전환경은 이러한 관계를 역으로 조절하여, 지식이전수준이 높을수록 기술적 기업가정신 비중과 혁신효능은 역U자형의 방향으로 반전하는 것으로 나타났다. This study suggests new implications on the factors improving the national innovation performance based on the national innovation system theory. Recently, study on innovation efficacy that considers innovation efficiency and effectiveness together as an innovative achievement has been increasing. This study investigates the relationship between the ratio of technology based start-up and innovation efficacy. In addition, this study analyzes how knowledge transfer moderates the relationship of technology startup ratio and innovation efficacy. The results of panel data regression analysis with the national level data of 82 countries shows that the ratio of technology based startup in the country has a U shaped relationship with the innovation efficacy. In addition, the level of knowledge transfer moderates this to the inverted-U shaped relationship.
