Carbon Black이 시멘트 Paste 및 Mortar의 물리적 특성에 미치는 영향

This study was performed to determine the most desirable carbon black and it's content in ordinary porland cement for the increase of physical properties of the cement and mortar. The various contents of carbon black were used for this study such as 0.2wt%, 0.5wt%, 1.0wt% and 3.0wt%. The different particle size and structure of carbon black were used. The physical properties of the cement paste and mortar were tested by KS methods. The experimental results are as follow; 1) The contents of 0.5-1.0wt% carbon blacks in cement increased most apparently the setting time of cement paste, flow value, compressive and flexural strengths of mortar, whereas decreased the water absorption ratio of mortar by about 10%. 2) SNP and D company's carbon black which have smaller numbers of I₂adsorption and DBP absorption and heavier pour density than those of others showed to be the most effective carbon blacks. 3) The soundness of cements remained unchanged regardless to the different kinds and contents of carbon blacks.

콘크리트의 내구성을 향상시키는 기존의 공법과는 다르게, 시멘트 입자 표면에 아스팔트 膜을 부분적으로 형성시킨 후 카본블랙을 處理하여 콘크리트의 전반적인 耐久性을 현격히 향상시킨 高耐久性 포틀랜드시멘트(ACTPC)의 水和反應 特性을 X-Ray, SEM, 전도열량계 등을 사용하여 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. ACTPC가 물과 접촉하면 발수성을 나타내는 아스팔트 膜은 시멘트 粒子와 물의 접촉 및 시멘트 粒子로부터 각종 이온들의 溶出을 방해하여 初期 水和反應이 억제되지만, 카본블랙은 결정핵 역할을 하므로 일정기간이후 의 水和反應을 촉진한다. For the enhancement of the concrete durability, we developed high - durable portland cement (ACTPC) by physical treatment of ordinary portland cement with asphalt and carbon black. In this research, the hydration reaction characteristics of ACTPC were studied by using SEM, X-Ray, Conduction Micro Calolimeter etc. When the ACTPC is mixed with water, it is believed the asphalt films on cement particles suppress the early stage of hydration reactions of cements, because the films hinder the contact with water and the elusion of soluble ions from particles. But the carbon blacks on the cement particles accelerated the hydration reactions of cement after a while, because the micro particles can be used as seed crystals in CaO-SiO_2-H_2O gel formation.
멜라민-페놀 수지와 폐 피혁 분으로 만든 복합체의 물성

The leather-resin(ST-MP) composites were made with leather shaving dust(ST) and melamine-phenol resin(MP) by hot pressing method. The mixing ratio of MP:ST, the hot pressing time and the hot pressing temperature for the composites were selected to the experimental factors in this experiment. The physical properties, such as the tensile and the flexural strengths and the extension at maximum of the composite, were tested. From L_9(3^4) orthogonal test, it is found that the ST-MP composites which have tensile strength : 5.8∼12.4 MPa, flexural strength : 20.2∼33.8 MPa, extension at maximum : 0.23∼0.44% are made in this conditions of MP mixing ratio : 150∼200%, hot pressing time : 7∼9 min, and hot pressing temperature : 179∼190℃.
Aluminum Isoproxide의 합성과 그 Sol의 특성

Aluminum isoproxide was synthesized by aluminum and isoproplyl alcohol and hydrolyzed to make alumina sol. The collodial stability of alumina sol was evaluated by measuring zeta potential. A high purity aluminum isoproxide(>99%) was obtained from aluminum powder, foil and flake. The particle size of aluminum powder was smaller than 250㎛ to obtain 80% yield and up within 6 hours reaction time. The alumina sol was highly stabilized in the presence of acid medium at a hydrolysis condition of pH 3 and water/alkoxide=150 at 65℃. The particle size of alumina powder was mostly under l㎛ after sintering at 1200℃ for 1 hours.
Poly-(acrylic acid-co-methylacrylate)합성조건에 따른 시멘트계 재료의 물성

The water soluble polymers based on polycarboxlates are come into the spot-light in the detergent fields of CaCO_3, Al(OH)_3 and leather industries. In this research, we synthesized molecular weights(Mn) by changing the concentrations of monomer(acrylic acid-methylacrylate mixture), chain transfer agent(butanethiol) and initiator(ammoniumpersulfate). We investigated the influences on the fluidities(the flow & the mini slump) and the setting times of cement material admixtured with the copolymers by the statistical method. The optimum synthesis formulation of the poly-(AA-co-MA) for cement materials is at the concentrations of monomer 50 M%, chain transfer agent 6.0 M% and initiator 2.0 M%. The number-average molecular weight of that was decided on 7,600 by the viscosity method.
비료·토양 개량재 등 농업용으로 재활용이 가능한 무기 폐기물

In this review, to promote the recycling of inorganic waste in agriculture, the technical information of some inorganic wastes which could be used as an agricultural fertilizer and soil reformer was summarized from foreign research papers and patents. Also, the chemical and physical properties and the generated amount of inorganic wastes in Korea were introduced for potential recycling of the wastes. Specially, steel slag/dust and sewage sludge are expected to be recycled in agriculture as new materials in Korea.
알칼리용액으로 처리된 폐피혁 분이 석고-피혁 복합체의 물성에 미치는 영향

Gypsum material has strong compressive strength and excellent resistance against fire. But, these material has some demerits ; weak water-resistance, heavy specific gravity and low physical properties in flexural and tensile strengths. While, leather shaving dust(LSD) which is much produced from leather manufacturing company in waste has strong tear and tensile strengths, the properties of the high hygroscopic and the superior thermal insulation. In this research, gypsum-leather composites were made with gypsum and LSD. And the physical properties of those were tested. The optimum dosage of LSD for gypsum-leather composite was decided to 1~5%(w/w) of the gypsum. In that case, the composit which has compressive strength: 147~272 kg_(f)/cm^(2), flexural strength: 66~87kg_(f)/cm^(2), specific gravity: 1.11~1.29 is made.
