라플라시안 피라미드에서의 다중스케일 비선형 이득 조절을 이용한 DR 영상 개선

In digital radiography, to improve the contrast of digital radiography image, the multi-scale nonlinear amplification algorithm based on unsharp masking is one of the major image enhancement algorithms. In this paper, we used the Laplacian pyramid to decompose a digital radiography(DR) image. In our simulation, the DR image was decomposed into seven layers and the coefficients of the each layer was amplified with nonlinear function. We also imported a noise containment algorithm to limit noise amplification. To enhance the contrast of image, we proposed a new adaptive non-linear gain amplification coefficients. As a result of having applied to some clinical data, a detail visibility was improved significantly without unacceptable noise boosting. Images that acquired with the proposed adaptive non-linear gain coefficients have shown superior quality to those that applied similar gain control method and expected to be accepted in the clinical applications.

본 논문에서는 의료 영상 분야의 국제 표준인 DICOM을 툴킷 형태로 구현한 소프트웨어에 대하여 기술한다. 기존의 툴킷들은 영상 관련 기능들을 별도로 구현해야 하거나 유닉스 운영체제를 기반으로 개발된 후에 윈도우즈 운영체제오 이식되거나 속도나 메모리 관리 측면이 배제되었거나 DICOM의 방대함에 기인하여 매우 복잡한 구조로 되어있는 단점을 가지고 있다. 제안된 툴킷은 기존 툴킷들의 단점을 보완하고 DICOM이 주로 사용되는 병원의 환경에 적합하도록 설계하였다. 즉, 윈도우 운영체제를 사용하는 일반 PC에서 대용량의 영상을 조회한 수 있도록 하였으며 다중 자업을 지원하여 자업 처리 속도 및 편리성을 증가시켰고 임상에서 필요한 대부분의 기능을 제공하며 객체 지향적 구조로 설계되어 사용자가 짧은 기 간 내에 개발 할 수 있도록 하였다. 실험 결과 제안된 툴킷을 이용하여 일반 PC 환경에서 CT 50장, MR 50장, CR 10장, DX 10장의 DICOM 영상을 12초 이내에 출력하며 소량의 물리적 메모리만을 소모하는 성능을 보였다. This paper describes the implementation of the toolkit software for the DICOM. the international standards of medical imaging. Well known toolkits do not have the functions related to imaging or ported to Windows OS after developed at UNIX OS or do not have mechanism for the speed and memory management or have complicated structure comes from DICOMI complexity. The toolkit introduced in this paper was designed for the hospital environments. It handles mass images at Windows based PC system. supports multi-threading to enhance the efficiency. supports every functions in Object Oriented Programming style needed at clinical application which makes the rapid development of the DICOM related applications. The results says that the toolkit can display 50 CT, 50 MR, 10 CR and 10 DX images in 12 seconds and occupy small quantity of physical memory at usual PC system.

『프랑스사 연구』 회고와 전망 - 20년史, 프랑스사 연구의 용광로 -

『프랑스사 연구』가 발간된 지 20년이 지났다. 한국프랑스사학회와 함께 시작된 『프랑스사 연구』의 역사는 우리나라에서 프랑스사 연구의 성장 과정을 보여준다. 앙시앙레짐과 프랑스 혁명, 노동운동과 사회주의로 요약되는 초기 프랑스사 연구가 『프랑스사 연구』를 통해 기업사, 도시사, 여성사, 영화사, 이주사 등 다양한 영역으로 확장하였으며, 비시 정부, 68 운동 등 연구의 범위가 확대되는 한편 중세사 연구에서도 비약적인 발전을 이루어냈다. 또한 식민주의, 인종주의 등 다양한 문제의식이 반영된 새로운 연구들이 이루어졌으며, 이를 통해 아프리카, 인도차이나 등이 프랑스사 연구의 지리적 범위가 확대되었다. Twenty years ago, Korean Review of French History(KRFH) was born with the creation of the Korean Association of French History. The history of the KRFH shows the itinerary of research development on French history in South Korea. The research on French history that began with the first topics around the old regime and the French Revolution, the labor movement and socialism. develop through RCHF in various fields of research: business history, urban history, feminist history, history of cinema, history of migration etc. By including the period of the Vichy government and movement 68 as the new subject, and with the development of research on medieval history, its dimension is expanding and the new generation of researchers interested in colonialism and racism gives attention to new territories such as Africa and Indo-China with geographical expansion.

‘68운동’과 횡대서양(transatlantic) 저항 네트워크 : 세계혁명론 비판과 트랜스내셔널 전망

1968년의 체제 비판 운동을 혁명이라고 정의 할 수 있는가? 월러스틴의 세계혁명에 대한 비판적 고찰을 통해 68운동에 대한 해석의 문제를 살펴보고 전지구적 차원에서 1968년의 저항 네트워크를 살펴볼 것이다. 이를 통해 전지구적 차원에서의 결정적 사건을 정의하고 68운동을 새롭게 조망할 가능성을 살펴 볼 것이다. 문화혁명론과 세계혁명론은 1968년에 일어난 사건의 실체적 사실을 밝히는 것을 가로막아왔다. 체 게바라, 마틴 루서 킹, 호치민을 연결해주는 트리켄티넨탈리즘과 흑인민권운동의 결합을 통해 냉전체제와 탈식민주의가 상호 작용을 관찰한다면 단순하게 신자유주의를 만든 소동으로 68운동을 치부할 수만은 없다. 68운동은 베트남 전쟁을 매개로한 지구화된 저항 네트워크 속에서 개별적 국가의 사회 위기가 만들어낸 다양한 사건들이 상호작용을 하면서 구성되었다. 이러한 의미에서 1968년에 일어난 일련의 사건들은 네트워크화된 트랜스내셔널한 운동이었던 것이다. Can We define what happened in 1968 as a Revolution? We call into question the World revolution theory, inerpretation of Wallerstein, and consider the protest network in the transnational dimension to define a critical event in the global level. This can open up a possibility of new perspective of 68 movement, whereas Cultural revolution and World revolution theories have obstructed the analysis of historical facts. The Black Power Movement joins to the Tricontinentalism connecting Che Guevara, Martin Luther King and Ho Chi Minh. If we observe this interaction between the Cold-war system and Post-colonialism, the simple logic that the 68 movement is regarded as a disturbance introducing the neo-liberalism becomes untenable. In the global protest network formed by the Anti-Vietnam War campaign, the 68 movement is launched with the interaction of diverse incidents resulted from the social crisis of different countries. In this sense, 68 movement can be defined as a transnational movement in the global protest network.

‘영광의 30년(Trente glorieuses)’ 속의 여성노동자와 소비사회 : 여성 노동자의 ‘검은 팔’과 백색가전

1960년대 건전지 생산 업체 봉데르의 광고에는 어두운 밤을 비추는 손전등의 이미지가 등장한다. 이 광고에서 봉데르는 손전등의 빛을 만들어주는 건전지의 효율성을 부각시켰지만, 다른 한편에서 여성 노동자들은 열악한 노동조건으로 인해 ‘검은 팔’이 되어야했다. 봉데르 공장의 여성 노동자들의 상황은 소비사회의 모순을 적나라하게 보여준다. 또한 많은 여성 노동자들이 처한 상황은 이러한 봉데르 노동자들의 경험과 다르지 않았다. 세탁기, 냉장고, 청소기 등 백색 가전 제품이 가진 청결하고 깨끗한 이미지는 비위생적이고 더러운 노동조건에서 만들어졌다. 또한 저임금을 강요받았던 여성 노동자들은 여성을 가사 노동에서 해방시킨다는 믿음을 만들었던 백색 가전 제품의 소비에서는 배제되었다. 건강을 위협하는 작업 환경속에서 살인적인 작업속도을 감당했던 여성 노동자들은 자신들이 생산한 제품의 소비에서는 오히려 배제되었던 역설적인 상황은 소비사회에서 노동자의 현실을 구체적으로 보여준다. 이것이 남성 중심의 68운동 서술에서는 드러나지 않았던 노동자의 또다른 현실이었다. In 1960’s, in the advertisement of Wonder, a French battery company, there is an image that a flashlight shines in a dark night. Even though this publicity stands out the efficiency of the battery for the light on the dark, the female workers of Wonder get the ‘black arms’ in the poor working condition. This situation shows obviously the contradictions of the consumer society. A large number of female workers share the same experience than those of Wonder have. Having a clean image, White Appliances such as electic Washing machines, regrigerators, vacuum cleaners, are produced in the unhygienic and poor working conditions. Besides, the Female workers who endure low wages paid for the their labor to produce these household electrical appliances are excluded from its consommation, while these are trusted as means to liberate women from the routine of housework. This situation is airing dirty laundry in the consumer society, such as the social question of the working class. This is the other aspect of the labor problem which is not much considered in the historiography of 1968 written in the masculine perspective.
