This study was carried out to investigate the effects of plant growth regulators on callus induction and plant regeneration from immature inflorescence of Angelira koreona MAX. The callus induction and its poliferation was best when immature inflorescence segments were plated on MS medium supplemented with IAA 2.5mg /l. The white and compact embryogenic rattus formed on the surface of the darkyellow and soft callus induced from Immature inflorescence segments on MS medium supplemented with lAA 2.5mg /l. MS medium seemed to be suitable for the callus induction, its prtliferation and embryogenic callus induction. The shoot regeneration from the callus derived from immature inflorescence segments was best in MS medium supplemented with IAA 0.5mg /I and Kinetin 2mg /I. 器內에서 藥用植物인 ?活의 末熟花序 培養에서캘러스 誘起와 植物體 再生에 미치는 植物 生長調節劑의 影響에 관하여 實驗한?結果를 要約하면 다음과 같다. 캘러스 誘起와 增殖은 IAA 2.5mg /1 添加培地 에서 가장 良好하였다. 胚發生能 캘러스는 IAA 2.5mg /1 添加培地에서 淡?色의 柔軟한 캘러스가 먼저 形成된 후 그 表面에서 희고 단단하게 形成되었다. 캘러스 誘起와 增殖 그리고 胚發生能 캘러스형성은 MS培地에서 가장 좋았다. 줄기 發生은 IAA 0.5mg/1 와 Kinetin 2mg /1를 添加한 培地에서 가장 양호하였다.

Weanling and adult white Smith rats were exposed to 500 r whole body roentgen irradiation and the blood constituents were analysed for a period of 70 days. The reaction time and recovery rates of the various blood constituents were compared for the weanling and adult rats. In addition to this examination, I attempted to observe whether the pure Ginseng powder possess the effect of protective action to x-ray irradiation. 1. Weanling rats responded more quickly and more drastically to whole body roentgen irradiaton by leukopen ia than did the adults, but they also recovered better after the irradiation insult. 2. Lowest Iymphopenia occurred by the first day in the weanlings and by the third day in the adults after irradiation. 3. Both in adult and weanling rats lost a high percentage of their neutrophiles by third days similary after irradiation, but weanlings recovered better than did adult at 49 dats examination. This indicates more destructive changes of neutrophiles of adult rats. 4. Erythrocytes were originally higher in adults than weanling rats. 5. Hemoglobin was originally higher in adults than weanling rats and both responded to whole body roentgen rradiation with a maximum drop at 14 days. 6. Platelets were originally higher in wealing rats than adult rats and responded to whole body roentgen irradiation with a maximum drop at 7 days and platelets in both adults adn weanlings showed over compensation at 49 days examination after irradiation. 7. Severe leukopenia was noted before death of the irradiated rats. 8. In the ginseng administerd rats, there was no evidence of prolonged life span and no evidence of better recovery was found.
