Using the direct method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of the additive-quadratic $\rho$-functional inequalities N(M_1f(x,y),t) \ge N\left(\rho M_2 f(x,y), t \right) where $\rho$ is a fixed real number with $|\rho|<1$, and N\left(M_2f(x,y),t\right) \ge N\left(\rho M_1f(x,y),t\right) where $\rho$ is a fixed real number with $|\rho|<\frac{1}{2}$.
Development of a Transformable Wheel Actuated by Soft Pneumatic Actuators

Small mobile robots with transformable wheels have recently emerged thanks to their increased mobilityand maneuverability. When a high payload is applied to these robots, however, wheel transformation becomesdifficult because they must directly overcome the payload’s weight. In this paper, we propose a wheel that can betransformed from its starting circular shape (radius, 56 mm) to a wheel with three legs (radius, 99 mm) under a highpayload with low operating force. The key design principle of this wheel is to kinematically decoupled legs andpassive locking. Its legs are kinematically decoupled but operated by a single air pump using a pneumatic channelconnected to soft pneumatic actuators installed at each leg. Application of pressure causes the legs to behave likea coupled system through the pneumatic channel. With pressurization, the two legs that are not in contact withthe ground easily emerge from body, and the leg in contact with the ground emerges once the wheel rotates. Onceemerged, each leg is supported by a rigid pawl instead of by the soft pneumatic actuators. This setup enables thelegs to be transformed independently with low air pressure, even under high payloads. It reduces system weight andthe energy required to maintain the transformed shape. This legged wheel can overcome obstacles up to 2.9 timesthe radius of the wheel in its circular form, and wheel transformation can be accomplished with 85 kPa air pressurefor payloads up to 1115 g.

ORTHOGONALITY AND LINEAR MAPPINGS IN BANACH MODULES

Using the fixed point method, we prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of linear mappings in Banach modules over a unital C*-algebra and in non-Archimedean Banach modules over a unital C*-algebra associated with the orthogonally Cauchy- Jensen additive functional equation.

환원탈지유배지에서 자란 Lactobacillus helveticus YM-1의 cell-free filtrate로부터 Streptococcus thermophilus CH-1의 생육촉진을 확인한 결과 이 물질은 분자량이 5,000정도의 peptide로 나타난다. 이 peptide 중에는 aspartic acid, Iysine, proline, leucine, valine, alanine, glutamic acid등의 amino산이 비교적 풍부하였으며, 그중에서 glutamic acid 함량이 가장 높았다. 또 이 Peptide가 생육 촉진효과 나타내는데 가장 중요한 역할을 담당하는 것은 glutamic acid와 Phenylalanine으로 판단되었다. A compound stimulatory to the growth of S. thermophilus CH-1 was isolated from the cell-free filtrate of L. helveticus YM-1 in milk medium. The stimulant was identified as a peptide with a molecular weight of approximately 5000 and exhibited positive ninhydrin reaction. Some kinds of amino acids confirmed as aspartic acid, alanine, valine, glutamic acid, lysine, proline, leucine were rich in the stimulatory peptide hydrolysate. Among them, glutamic acid was most abundant. Judging from bioautographic results, glutamic acid and phenylalanine were expected to exert an important role for the stimulation.

Objective : The object of this literatual study is to investigate the etiology of dry eye syndrome Methods : We have selected data related to etiology of dry eye syndrome on the literature of Oriental Medicine. And we analyzed the study. Results : Treatment and etiology concerning dry eye syndrome derived diverse opinion according to medical era and practitioner. It was a good opportunity to speculate the etiology and similar symptoms of dry eye syndrome. Conclusions : Through literatual Study, we basically understood the etiology of dry eye syndrome. In the study of the etiology, it seems that further clinical studies on treatment of dry eye syndrome via oriental medicine.
