      • 햅틱과 입체 영상 기술을 이용한 기관내삽관 시뮬레이션

        의료 시뮬레이션은 의료 분야의 교육과 훈련에 관련된 시뮬레이션이다. 미국 의학 협회에 따르면 한 해 44,000명에서 98000명이 의료 행위 중에 주요한 실수로 사망한다고 한다.[1] 의료 시뮬레이션은 이런 실수를 방지하고자 시행된다. 이 논문에서는 가상현실 기술을 이용해 기관내삽관 시뮬레이션을 구현한다. 시뮬레이션 중에 촉감을 생성하기 위해 햅틱 장치를 이용한다. 또 한 시뮬레이션 중 상호 작용에 따른 의료 도구의 변형을 표현하기 위해 Mass-Spring 기법을 이용한다. 마지막으로 기관내삽관 시뮬레이션의 입체 영상 시각화를 위해 셔터글라스기법을 사용하여 렌더링 한다. According to the Institute of Medicine, 44,000 to 98,000 deaths annually are recorded due primarily to medical mistakes during treatment.[1] Using advanced technology in a Medical Simulation is devised to avoid medical mistake. In this paper we show a medical simulation that use virtual reality for intubation simulation. It use haptic devices to generate reaction. And to render deform objects in the intubation simulation, we use Mass-Spring algorithm. Finally, It shows a stereo vision using stero 3D.

        An Integrated DEA-AHP Model for the Acquisition of a Weapon System: Selection of a Next-Generation Fighter System in Korea

        In this paper, we propose a data envelopment analysis (DEA) and analytic hierarchy process (AHP) integrated model to improve the selection process in the acquisition of a weapon system which is the key component to the success of the project. In particular, we applied DEA in the first stage to choose a frontier group among the candidates in the selection process of the next-generation fighter system (the 3rd FX) in Korea. Then, by using the Delphi technique, we surveyed military experts and applied AHP to determine the best choice among the candidates. The results of the study match the actual decision made by the Korean government in the weapon system acquisition. The results of the proposed DEA-AHP integrated method in the selection of the next-generation fighter systems in Korea demonstrate the usefulness of the method. In this paper, we also discuss the future implications of the proposed model.

        RIX-MAC: An Energy-Efficient Receiver-Initiated Wakeup MAC Protocol for WSNs

        This paper proposes RIX-MAC (Receiver-Initiated X-MAC), a new energy-efficient MAC protocol based on an asynchronous duty cycling. RIX-MAC improves energy efficiency through utilizing short preambles and adopting the receiver-initiated approach, where RIX-MAC minimizes sender nodes` energy consumption by enabling transmitters to predict receiver nodes` wake-up times. It also reduces receiver nodes` energy consumption by decreasing the number of control frames. We use the network simulator to evaluate RIX-MAC`s performance. Compared to the prior asynchronous duty cycling approaches of X-MAC and PW-MAC, the proposed protocol shows a remarkable improvement in energy-efficiency and end-to-end delay.

        베이지안 방법론 기반의 유도무기 시험평가 신뢰도 분석

        본 논문은 일회성 시스템인 유도무기의 신뢰성을 평가하기 위해 베이지안 방법론을 활용하는 내용이며, 유도무기 서브시스템 및 부품의 평가결과를 그 다음 단계의 사전분포로 활용하였다. 각 서브시스템 및 부품의 시험평가 결과를 활용하여 전체 유도무기체계의 신뢰성을 분석하는 베이지안 방법론을 제시하였고, 이를 활용하면 유도무기쳬계의 신뢰성을 확보하기 위한 샘플수를 적절히 선정할 수 있다. This paper provides Bayesian methodology to estimate the reliability for guided weapons which are not continuously operating. The posterior distribution of subsystems and components becomes the next prior distribution. By analyzing the results of the sub-systems and components presented a method for estimating the reliability of the entire guided weapons. Bayesian methodology using existing test data of subsystems may be used to reduce the sample sizes.

        야전 환경에서 기계구조물 표면처리 개선에 관한 실험적 연구

        Mechanical structures of military equipment have been mainly applied with black oxide coating due to the limitation of surface treatment thickness. However, the mechanical structures applied by the black oxide coating treatment is constantly being corroded by calcium chloride and humidity. Since this can cause serious problems in the operation of equipment, a review to improve surface treatment and corrosion resistance is required. Therefore, in this study, surface treatment methods that can enhance corrosion resistance were selected and corrosion resistance performance was verified through experiments describing harsh field conditions. Thus, applying a proven surface treatment method to future military equipment will prevent corrosion.

        SERVQUAL 모형을 적용한 국방전자조달 서비스에 대한 만족도 분석

        국방전자조달시스템은 방위사업청 및 수요군, 조달업체의 전자입찰을 지원하는 시스템이다. 이 시스템은 유관정보서비스와의 연계를 통한 다양한 정보 활용을 가능하게 함으로써 방위사업청, 수요군, 조달업체들의 전자입찰업무의 효율적 수행에 있어 많은 기여를 하였다. 그러나 급격히 발전하는 첨단 신기술 기반 인프라와 다양한 커뮤니케이션 채널의 증가에 발맞추어 국방전자조달시스템 또한 차세대 버전으로의 업그레이드 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이러한 시대적 요구에 신속히 대응하고, 이를 충족시키기 위하여 본 논문에서는 업무담당자들의 국방전자조달시스템 서비스에 대한 만족도를 조사하여 차세대 포털로서 도약하기 위한 개선방향을 제시하고자 한다. The national defense electronic procurement system is an information system supporting DAPA, services (Army, Navy and Air Force), and the procurement companies in the electronic bidding. It has contributed greatly to improving the efficiency of the national defense electronic procurement process by providing various information services based on inter-operation among the related parties. However the national defense electronic procurement system is expected to be upgraded to the next version in accord with rapidly evolving infrastructure based on high technology and increasing various communication channels. This paper investigates the satisfaction level of the system users and proposes directions for the next-generation procurement portal.

        국방통합재정정보 데이터 효율성 향상 방안 연구

        본 연구는 국가회계의 전환점인 복식부기 발생주의 회계제도의 도입과 디지털 예산회계시스템의 구축에 맞추어 추진된 국방통합재정정보시스템의 산출정보, 즉 재정정보의 Data 효율성 향상에 관한 내용이다. 국방통합재정정보시스템은 프로그램 사업관리를 용이하게 하고, 국방 재정업무 전 과정을 하나의 체계에서 관리할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 신뢰성 있는 재무제표와 원가자료를 내 외부 정보이용자에게 제공함으로써 국방재정의 투명성과 신뢰성을 향상하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 조직의 효율성 측정에 유용한 DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis)기법을 적용하여 동일유형의 부대별 효율을 측정하고 비효율 부대는 효율의 목표를 제시함으로써 재정정보 Data의 효율성을 향상시키고자 한다. This study is the context about an introduction of a bookkeeping by double entry & accrual base accounting which is the turning point of National Accounting and defense integrated financial management which is delivered following system Digital Budget Accounting system, in other words about something to do with the improvement of efficiency of financial information data. National defense Integration Financial Information system (NDIFIS) facilitates Project program management and makes the whole process of Defense financial Business manageable in one system. Also, there is a purpose to increase the credibility and transparency of National defense finances by providing internal and external information users with credible financial statements and cost materials. By using data envelopment analysis (DEA) which is a useful method to measuring the efficiency of organization, this study aims to improve the financial information data efficiency by comparing the efficiency of the same type troops and when it comes to the inefficient troops, by offering the certain objective of efficiency.

        Production of Mutated Porcine Embryos Using Zinc Finger Nucleases and a Reporter-based Cell Enrichment System

        To facilitate the construction of genetically-modified pigs, we produced cloned embryos derived from porcine fibroblasts transfected with a pair of engineered zinc finger nuclease (ZFN) plasmids to create targeted mutations and enriched using a reporter plasmid system. The reporter expresses RFP and eGFP simultaneously when ZFN-mediated site-specific mutations occur. Thus, double positive cells ($RFP^+/eGFP^+$) were selected and used for somatic cell nuclear transfer. Two types of reporter based enrichment systems were used in this study; the cloned embryos derived from cells enriched using a magnetic sorting-based system showed better developmental competence than did those derived from cells enriched by flow cytometry. Mutated sequences, such as insertions, deletions, or substitutions, together with the wild-type sequence, were found in the cloned porcine blastocysts. Therefore, genetic mutations can be achieved in cloned porcine embryos reconstructed with ZFN-treated cells that were enriched by a reporter-based system.

        Position-based Routing Algorithm for Improving Reliability of Inter-Vehicle Communication

        A vehicular ad-hoc network (VANET) consists of vehicles that form a network without any additional infrastructure, thus allowing the vehicles to communicate with each other. VANETs have unique characteristics, including high node mobility and rapidly changing network topology. Because of these characteristics, routing algorithms based on greedy forwarding such as greedy perimeter stateless routing (GPSR) are known to be very suitable for a VANET. However, greedy forwarding just selects the node nearest to the destination node as a relay node within its transmission range. This increases the possibility of a local maximum and link loss because of the high mobility of vehicles and the road characteristics in urban areas. Therefore, this paper proposes a reliability-improving position-based routing (RIPR) algorithm to solve those problems. The RIPR algorithm predicts the positions, velocities, and moving directions of vehicles after receiving beacon messages, and estimates information about road characteristics to select the relay node. Thus, it can reduce the possibility of getting a local maximum and link breakage. Simulation results using ns-2 revealed that the proposed routing protocol performs much better than the existing routing protocols based on greedy forwarding.
