허응당(虛應當) 보우(普雨)의 사상과 시적 형상화 연구

        정선양 ( Jeong Seon-yang ),백원기 ( Baek Won-gi ) 한국사상문화학회 2019 韓國思想과 文化 Vol.96 No.-

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristic of thought and poetic expression of Seon master Heoeungdang Bowu(1509~1565). At the era of middle Joseon based on respecting Confucianism and oppressing Buddhism, Bowu, as a judge of Seon Oder, tried to do his best in protecting Buddha-dharma and in promoting Buddhism under queen Munjeong's positive support and consideration. In particular, he made an effort to overcome the division and conflict between Seon and Doctrine School, and also planned a unified Buddhist order and the extension of Buddhist influence by asserting the unification of Seon and the Doctrinal School. In addition, he attempted to keep endangered Buddha-dharma by aiming at harmonious co-existence through the unification of Confucianism and Buddhism. Above all, the core of Bow's thought is 'Perfect Unification' based on 'Iljeongron,' which is the very Hwaeom thought. On the other hand, Bowu, having an excellent poetic imagination and talent, produced lots of jemlike poems based on Seon intuition. That is, he created many Seon poems enough to express his poetic mind as poetic magic power, with a great interest in the creation of poetry. The point in the poetic expression of his Seon mind is 'Perfect Unification,' which is well revealed in poetic description unifying all objects/phenomena, thought/idea without discriminating them. Therefore, his poetic products are a kind of mechanic to express Seon mind in the process of obtaining enlightenment, communion with nature, and guidance of his disciples in more vivid and condensed poetic images and dictions.

The acceptor roles of Cu in the compounds were elucidated by the charge and thermal transport properties. Considerable change in the density of state (DOS) effective mass depending on the Cu content was evidenced by the cross-over of Seebeck coefficients, and the effects of the DOS effective mass on the thermoelectric transport properties were interpreted by temperature-normalized Pisarenko plot. Significant enhancement of thermoelectric figure of merit and the control of optimum operating temperature could be achieved by the Cu incorporation, and their origins were discussed.

Highlights

Verification of acceptor role of Cu in Bi2Te2.7Se0.3 compounds.

Effects of DOS effective mass on charge transport and Seebeck cross-over.

Interpretation of transport properties by temperature-normalized Pisarenko plot.

Enhancement of ZT and control of optimum operating temperature by Cu incorporation.

Graphical abstract

[DISPLAY OMISSION]

      • Feeding by the Pfiesteria-Like Heterotrophic Dinoflagellate Luciella masanensis

JEONG, HAE JIN,HA, JEONG HYUN,YOO, YEONG DU,PARK, JAE YEON,KIM, JONG HYEOK,KANG, NAM SEON,KIM, TAE HOON,KIM, HYUNG SEOP,YIH, WON HO Wiley (Blackwell Publishing) 2007 JOURNAL OF EUKARYOTIC MICROBIOLOGY - Vol.54 No.3

To explore the feeding ecology of the Pfiesteria-like dinoflagellate (PLD) Luciella masanensis (GenBank Accession no. AM050344, previously Lucy), we investigated the feeding behavior and the kinds of prey species that L. masanensis fed on and determined its growth and ingestion rates of L. masanensis when it fed on the dinoflagellate Amphidinium carterae and an unidentified cryptophyte species (equivalent spherical diam., ESD=5.6 microm), which were the dominant phototrophic species when L. masanensis and similar small heterotrophic dinoflagellates were abundant in Masan Bay, Korea in 2005. Additionally, these parameters were also measured for L. masanensis fed on blood cells of the perch Lateolabrax japonicus and the raphidophyte Heterosigma akashiwo in the laboratory. Luciella masanensis fed on prey cells by using a peduncle after anchoring the prey with tow filament, and was able to feed on diverse prey such as cryptophytes, raphidophytes, diatoms, mixotrophic dinoflagellates, and the blood cells of fish and humans. Among the prey species tested in the present study, perch blood cells were observed to be the optimal prey for L. masanensis. Specific growth rates of L. masanensis feeding on perch blood cells, A. carterae, H. akashiwo, and the cryptophyte, either increased continuously or became saturated with increasing the mean prey concentration. The maximum specific growth rate of L. masanensis feeding on perch blood cells (1.46/day) was much greater than that of A. carterae (0.59/day), the cryptophyte (0.24/day), or H. akashiwo (0.20/day). The maximum ingestion rate of L. masanensis on perch blood cells (2.6 ng C/grazer/day) was also much higher than that of A. carterae (0.32 ng C/grazer/day), the cryptophyte (0.44 ng C/grazer/day), or H. akashiwo (0.16 ng C/grazer/day). The kinds of prey species which L. masanensis is able to feed on were the same as those of Pfiesteria piscicida, but very different from those of another PLD Stoeckeria algicida. However, the maximum growth and ingestion rates of L. masanensis on perch blood cells, A. carterae, H. akashiwo, and the cryptophyte were considerably lower than those of P. piscicida. Therefore, these three dinoflagellates may occupy different ecological niches in marine planktonic communities, even though they have a similar size and shape and the same feeding mechanisms.

Clinical Research Using Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix-Pharmacopuncture for Lumbar Herniated Intervertebral Disc: Analysis of Trends

        Seon Woo Kim,Cheol Woo Park,Myeong Jae Jo,Min Wook Kim,Jae Hee Yu,Jeon Seok Hee,Seung Won Jang,Do Young Kang,Hyun Jin Jeong 대한침구의학회 2021 대한침구의학회지 Vol.38 No.1

This review of national and international randomized controlled trials of Salviae miltiorrhizae radix pharmacopuncture for lumbar herniated intervertebral discs was performed to assess its clinical efficacy. There were 5 online databases (PubMed, EMBASE, CNKI, NDSL, OASIS, and RISS) searched on June 1st, 2020. Studies were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and were reviewed by risk of bias assessment. This review included 14 Chinese studies. The sample sizes ranged from 50 to 100. The numbers of treatments ranged from 20 to 30, with most patients receiving 20 treatments. The longest treatment periods were 10-15 and 15-20 days, of which each accounted for 29% of the studies. The most frequently used evaluation indices were the Japanese Orthopedic Association and the Visual Analog Scale scoring method. The most frequently used acupoints were EX18 and BL25, which accounted for 31% of the total number of acupoints. In 50% of the studies, the pharmacopuncture injection volume was 2 mL. Acupuncture treatment was the most common control group. Eleven studies reported that the intervention group had significantly improved symptoms. However, most of the included studies were of low quality.

Although cases of solitary dermatofibromas are common, multiple dermatofibromas are rare and there is no explainable theory in healthy people. Objectives: This study was conducted to obtain better understanding of the clinicopathologic features of multiple dermatofibroma. Methods: This is a retrospective study of multiple dermatofibroma pathologically diagnosed at our hospital over a 12-year period (2004~2015). Clinicopathologic features of 22 patients, 108 lesions were evaluated. The sex, age, number of lesions, site, symptoms and histopathological finding are included. Results: Of the 22 patients, sixteen (72.7%) were female and six (27.3%) were male. mean age was 39.1(±11.5) years old. The number of lesions ranged 2 to 20 and the mean was 4.9. The most common predilection sites were lower extremities (42.6%). All cases treated by excisional biopsy. According to the histopathological finding, the most common histological subtype was fibrocollagenous (66.7%). Most of the cases were extended dermis (62.5%) layer. Mitotic activity was not definite in majority of cases. The major infiltrated inflammatory cells were lymphocyte (75.2%). Conclusion: Multiple and solitary dermatofibroma have clinical and pathological consistency except for numbers of lesions.

      • [P046] Erythema multiforme with atypical clinical features

( Jeong Won Jo ),( Young Bin Shin ),( Hae Bong Jeong ),( Yun Sun Moon ),( Do Seon Jeong ),( Eui Chang Jung ),( Chi Yeon Kim ),( Tae Jin Yoon ) 대한피부과학회 2017 대한피부과학회 학술발표대회집 Vol.69 No.1

Erythema multiforme (EM) is a hypersensitivity reaction characterized by targetoid skin lesions with or without erosions of mucosal surfaces. An acute, self-limiting or episodic course and the presence of targetoid lesions, raised atypical papules or mucosal involvement, are the important clues to diagnose with EM. Laboratory studies and skin biopsies are not required in all cases of EM. EM has been classified into a number of variants, mainly minor and major forms. In the case of general EM major, the mucosal lesions as well as the cutaneous lesions are also more severe and cover a wide range of skin surface. However, we examined a case of EM with atypical clinical features. Unlike general EM major, the cutaneous lesions of our patient were mild and limited to hands and feet that uncommonly involved, although the erosive lesions of oral and genital mucosa were severe. This atypical feature caused misdiagnosis to hand, foot and mouth disease and led to delay proper treatment. In conclusion, we should be recognized that there is a case of EM with atypical clinical features and refer to it when diagnosing.

      • [P051] Nail involvement of lichen striatus successfully treated with intralesional steroid injection

( Won Seon Koh ),( Dong Uk Cheon ),( Su Jin Oh ),( Jeong Eun Kim ),( Joo Yeon Ko ),( Young Suck Ro ) 대한피부과학회 2017 대한피부과학회 학술발표대회집 Vol.69 No.1

Lichen striatus (LS) is a rare inflammatory dermatosis, characterized by linear papules, mainly along the Blaschko lines of limbs in children. Nail involvement of LS occurs in about 2.6% of patients. Despite various treatment modalities for nail involvement in LS, the efficacies are controversial. Cases treated with intralesional injection (ILI) of steroid have been rarely reported. A 15-year-old boy presented with linear erythematous papules and plaques on left lower leg which has been for 1 month. A biopsy specimen showed lymphocytic infiltration in the upper dermis with epidermal changes including irregular acanthosis and exocytosis of lymphocyte. Based on these findings, he was diagnosed with LS. After 12 weeks of treatment with topical steroid and tacrolimus, the skin lesion was dramatically improved. However, onychodystrophy newly developed at left great toenail (TN) and was getting worse despite of maintenance of treatment with topical tacrolimus. We began to treat his TN with ILI of triamcinolone acetonide (TA) 2.5mg/ml with 2 weeks interval. After 2 months of treatment, clear TN was noted at the proximal portion of TN and almost complete recovery of nail lesion was achieved at 6 months. Herein, we report a case of nail involvement in LS successfully treated with ILI of TA and propose that active treatment could be an effective therapeutic option for nail LS.
