        The droplet behavior of 83.9 wt.% HAN water solution was investigated experimentally with various ambient temperature and nitrogen environment. At the initial stage of evaporation under thermal decomposition temperature of HAN, gradual decreasing of droplet diameter was observed. After that, the droplet started to expand due to the internal pressure build up by water nucleation inside the droplet. The micro explosion was observed at higher temperature than the decomposition temperature of HAN and the remaining droplet showed similar behavior of single composition droplet. The decreasing rate was augmented as the ambient temperature increasing.

      • A Study on Export Promotion Strategy of K-Beauty Korean Wave Products: Focused on Cosmetic

        This study aims to inquire into strategies for promoting export by investigating the real Korean Wave products of K-Beauty through approaching closer to the formation process of Korean Wave and Korean Wave products. In the first place, this study chose classification method of Korean Wave products from K-Beauty products by examining and reviewing general situations and various factors of Korean Wave. After this process, this study inquired into the strategies for promoting export of K-Beauty products. In the last place, the implications of the study were clarified. The items which benefited most from Korean Wave by the recent Korean Wave fever correspond to cosmetics, accessories, women s wear, cellular phones, confectionery, beverages and cigarettes. In addition to K-Beauty, it will be required to expand the area in a more diversified way toward K-Food, K-Health and K-Town, aiming at sustainable development of Korean Wave.

        강원도 화천군 수달(Lutra lutra) 서식지의 식생 구조

        In order to determine whether vegetation would be one of the factors for the selection of otter home range, vegetation structure and other potential factors were studied in Hwacheon, Korea. Thirteen sites, otter’s activity found and not found, were investigated in North Han River and connected tributary streams of Hwacheon-gun. Three types of vegetation were classified by cluster analysis, which is short grass, tall grass and shrub type. Vegetation zone of each channel is composed of either one type, or mosaic of tall grass and shrub type. Short grass type is common in Lake Paro and upper North Han-river where water level is highly variable throughout a year. Therefore, annual species such as Persicaria nodosa, Fimbristylis dichotomam and Chenopodium ficifolium are the most dominant. Shrub type is common at the downstream sites of Jichon stream and along mainstream of North Han River down Lake Paro. A shrub species, Salix koreensis, is the most common. Tall grass type is dominant occupying the most vegetation zone of the tributary channels. Phragmites japonica is absolutely dominant. Due to its dense cover, a few plant species are co-existed. Otter activity was found in all three vegetation types and no marked activity was found at some sites of tall grass type. There is no difference in species composition and physiognomy between tall grass sites with and without otter activity, while it shows significant difference in fish availability between two groups. Overall we found that home range of otters in the region is along the mainstream and downstream of tributary streams with high fish availability in all vegetation types and in various human activity levels.

        추간판 조직에서 연령 및 퇴행성 변화와 신생혈관과 섬유모세포 성장인자발현에 대한 연구

        연구계획 : 추간판 조직에서 신생혈관의 연구는 탈출된 추간판 조직에서 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 퇴행성 척추질환의 추간판 조직에서 신생혈관과 섬유모세포 성장인자의 발현에 대한 연령 및 퇴행성 변화와의 관계를 연구하고자 한다. 연구목적 : 추간판 조직에서 신생혈관과 섬유모세포 성장인자의 발현을 관찰하고 추간판 조직의 연령 및 퇴행성 변화와의 상관관계를 연구하고자 한다. 대상 및 방법 : 주된 증상이 요통인 퇴행성 척추 질환으로 전방 추체유합술을 시행받고 12개월 이상 추시 가능하 였던 환자의 추간판 조직 30례를 연구대상으로 하였다. 조직학적 관찰은 H-E염색과 혈관내피세포 성장인자와 섬유 모세포 성장인자를 이용한 면역 조직화학염색을 실시하였다. 대조군으로 부검시 채취한 신생아의 추간판 조직 12례를 대상으로 하였다. 결과 : 질환군에서 Hematoxylin - eosine염색 및 혈관내피세포 성장인자와 섬유모세포 성장인자를 이용한 면역 조직 화학염색상 신생혈관과 섬유모세포 성장인자의 발현은 전례에서 섬유륜의 바깥 1/2 층에서 관찰되었으나, 수핵에서는 혈관형성이나, 면역염색상 양성반응을 보이는 세포는 관찰되지 않았다. 대조군 12례의 추간판조직에서 Hematoxylin-eosin염색상 혈관형성이 관찰되었으나, 혈관내피세포 성장인자 항체와 섬유모세포 성장인자를 이용한 면역 염색상 양성 반응을 보이지 않는다. 대조군과 질환군 사이의 신생혈관에 대한 혈관내피세포 성장인자와 섬유 모세포 성장인자의 발현의 차이점은 통계학적으로 의미가 있었다( P<0.05). 질환군 사이의 신생혈관에 대한 혈관내 피세포 성장인자 항체 및 섬유모세포 성장인자의 발현의 차이는 없었다( P>0.05 ) . 결론 : 추간판내의 신생혈관과 섬유모세포 성장인자의 발현은 추간판 조직의 연령 및 퇴행성 변화와 관계가 있다 고 사료되었다. Numerous studies have shown neovascularization and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF) expression in herniated nucleus pulposus. It is not clear whether the neovascularization and bFGF expression are due to herniated nucleus pulposus with secondary reaction phenomenon or due to disc aging and degeneration. The purpose of this study is to investigate neovascularization and bFGF expression in both nucleus pulposus and anulus fibrosus tissues from aging and degenerated discs and compare it to neonate intervertebral disc. Thirty disc blocks obtained during anterior interbody fusion of the lumbar spine with degenerative spine disease were studied by immunochemical stains to observe neovascularization with vascular endothelial cell growth factor(VEGF) and bFGF expression. There were 8 disc blocks from the patients with degenerative disc disease, 15 with spondylolytic spondylolisthesis, and 7 with spinal stenosis with instability. For the control group, 12 neonate disc blocks obtained at autopsy. The neovascularization and bFGF expression were observed in the outer one half layer of the anulus fibrosus in the disease group but not in the nucleus pulposus. The neovascularization and bFGF expression were not observed in the control group. There was a statistical significant difference of neovascularization and bFGF expression between the control and disease group(p<0.05). There was no statistical significant difference of neovascularization and bFGF expression among the disease group(p>0.05). The results of this study suggest that neovascularization and bFGF expression are inherently related to aging and degeneration of the intervertebral disc.

      • 잎새버섯(Grifola frondosa)의 균사체와 다당류 생산을 위한 최적 배양조건

        The influences of pH and medium composition on mycelial growth and exopolysaccharide (EPS) production of Grifola frondosa were investigated in shake flasks. The optimal initial pH for mycelial growth and ESP production were found to be 4.0. The optimal carbon and nitrogen sources were brown sugar (0.33 g/100 ㎖) and skim milk(0.52 g/100 ㎖), respectively. Under the optimized conditions, a mycelial biomass of 0.65 g/100 ㎖ and an EPS yields of 0.075 g/100 ㎖ were obtained in 7 days. The results strongly suggest that EPS production from G. frondosa is growth-associated. After submerged culture in optimal culture medium, the polysaccharide from the culture broth were extracted and purified from mycelial culture broth by ethanol precipitation method. In vitro cytotoxicity tests, crude polysaccharide were not cytotoxic against macrophage cell line, such as Raw 264.7 at the concentration of 10 ug/㎖. EtOH extracted-polysaccharide generated 24.6 uM of nitric oxide (NO) when cultured with Raw 264.7 cell at the concentration of 1 ug/㎖. Therefore, the results suggest that G. frondosa-derived β-glucan from new synthetic medium (LBL) may exert its immunostimulating activities with similar potency to LPS.

      • 창작무용 수업에 있어서 협동학습과 경쟁학습이 중학생의 학업성취도에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to analyze effects on academic achievements in compare with cooperative and competitive learning models of the creative dance instruction The Experiment was performed in instruction of 12. sessions, In this experiment was participated 74 middle school students, It was divided into cooperative group(n=39) and competitive group(n=35), Each group was recognized small group of 5-6 students and was given an individual role to each others. The measuring tools used in pre-test and post-test was an academic achievement testing sheet, That was conducted by creative ability evaluation standards. The results of this study was as followings Cooperative learning model in creative dance instruction was more effective for learner's academic achievements than competitive learning model, That is, it was more effective for originality, composition and continuity among sub-factors of academic achievements, In conclusion concrete methods to activate creative dance instruction which is in the important position in educational dance of the 7th curriculum can be found in cooperative learning model.

        Pulse Power를 이용한 혐기성 소화 효율 증대

        Anaerobic digestion is commonly used in wastewater treatment plants to stabilize sludge produced in primary and secondary treatment, to produce renewable energy as methane, and to reduce the volume of solids for ultimate disposal. Previous studies on anaerobic digestibility of primary and secondary sludge present that secondary sludge showed poor anaerobic digestibility and less gas production. The objectives of this research were to study the effects of pulse power pretreatment on anaerobic digestibility of waste activated sludge. These objectives were achieved through operation of carefully-controlled laboratory digesters under various conditions. The conclusion made from this study are as follows: 1) To maximize the efficiency of pulse power pretreatment for waste activated sludge, the optimum operation conditions for coaxial reactor with 7 rings are decided as follows; a) optimum pulse repetition rate : 110㎐, b)feeding service : once-through mode, c) optimum hydraulic retention time : 1.0-1.5sec 2) Pretreated WAS by pulse power system showed increase of SCOD, ECP, and V.A by 13.6, 4.6, and 7.1 times. 3) From the results from operation of lab scaled anaerobic digester, pulse power sludge pretreatment increased GPR from 0.39㎥gas/㎏VS_add · day to 0.66㎥gas/㎏VS_add · day and methane content from 43.9% to 87.9%. Thus, increase of methane production rate was increased by 3.4times. 4) During the steady state operation of anaerobic digester, the removal efficiency of TCOD and VS were improved by 44.6% and 31.5% respectively after pulse power pretreatment of waste activated sludge.

        연속유입 간헐포기공정 모델 파라미터의 민감도 분석

        Intermittent aeration system with continuous inflow (IASWCI) model was established based on the mass balances in the aerobic and anoxic phases. This model contains 14 parameters and is composed of 7 state variables in each phase. The important parameters can be identified by parameter sensitivity analysis. Sensitivity analysis was accomplished by varying the numerical value of the parameters in the IASWCI model and determining the resulting impact in the predicted response. It has shown that μ_(max,H) (maximum specific growth rate of heterotrophs) of IASWCI was the most sensitive one in the COD removal process while i_(xB) (ratio of nitrogen to organic in microorganism) was the most sensitive one in nitrification process and Y_(H) (yield coefficient of heterotrophs) was the most sensitive one in denitrification process. Based on the senitivity analysis and calibration process of IASWCI model, mathematical model simulation was accomplished by using the model with another input data set. As the results of the model simulation, it is possible to predict behaviors of organic and nitrogen in case that the model is applied to a full-scale wastewater treatment plant.
