The potentiodynamic polarization curve of carbon steel measured on the each condition was extrapolated to obtain the corrosion current density and then to calculate the corrosion rate (MPY, mils per year) using Faraday’s law. The corrosion rate of carbon steel was increased with the temperature of each amine solution from 50℃ to 150℃, maximal at around 150℃, and decreased with the temperature from 150℃ to 300℃. The corrosion rate of carbon steel was diminished from 8.5 to 10.0 of pH. Under the same temperature and pH conditions, the corrosion rate of carbon steel became increased in order of 3-MPA<ETA<Morph<NH3.

최근 정보통신(IT) 기술의 발달로 온라인 교육인 이러닝 시스템은 다양한 학습 콘텐츠를 제공하고 있으며, 이를 통해 습득된 지식은 여러 학습사이트, 소설 네트워크 등을 통해 공유되고 확대 재생산 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러닝 시스템의 학습활동을 통해서 생성된 자료들이 주로 비정형 텍스트 데이터로 이루어져 있는 점을 감안하여 이러닝 시스템에서 텍스트 마이닝 기법의 활용 방안에 대해 살펴보고 향후 연구방향에 대해서 논의한다.
유아교육 관련 인터넷 사이트의 현황조사 및 평가준거 개발을 위한 기초 연구

The purpose of this study is 1) to investigate the present conditions of the internet site in relation to the early childhood education, 2) to develope questions and to investigate the validity of internet site evaluation criteria. The present conditions of the internet site in relation to the early childhood education have been surveyed by means of the searching words "early childhood education" in the site providing us with the searching engine service. In the course of this study 517 sites were found on the 12th day of September, 2000. The items of evaluation criteria have been made by the researcher on reference to preceding studies, and the validity was investigated on the criteria referred to a questionnaire by means of E-mail. The questionnaire was composed of 28 items about criteria and this items were rated at 4 point scale by teachers, parents, early childhood education majors. The results had it that generally rating about evaluation criteria was concentrated to "important", so they agreed to appropriateness as early childhood educational internet site evaluation criteria.

Scapholunate advanced collapse (SLAG) deformity most often occurs with chronic rotary scaphoid instability resulting from scapholunate ligament tear and scaphoid fracture. Prior to 1984 when Dr. Kirk Watson reported his concept on SLAG wrist deformity, the most popular procedure for this pathological condition was scaphoid implant arthroplasty with or without midcarpal fusion. We have reviewed 15 cases of SLAG deformity during 1984 to 1993, which were treated with scaphoid excision and midcarpal fusion. Among them, scaphoid implants made of silicone were inserted in 4 cases. Scaphoid implant arthroplasty without carpal fusion was excluded. The mean period of follow-up was 8.8 years and the mean age of patients was 47.5 years. Males and right wrists were predominant. Wrist motion was limited to 55.6% of the opposite normal wrist and grip power was average 71% of the opposite normal hand. Overall, 8 patients had no pain and 7 patients had mild pain. The grade of pain was minimal. (Rating system: no pain-0, mild-1, moderate-2, severe-3). However, all of the 4 cases of limited carpal fusion with a scaphoid implant developed silicone paniculate induced synovitis and pain. The procedure appears to be effective in maintaining function of the hand with minimal pain up to 5.8 years. However, silicone scaphoid implant appears to be not necessary and is not recommended for this pathological condition with a limited carpal fusion.
成熟赤血球의 Evans´blue 吸收에 미치는 二價金屬이온의 影響에 關한 硏究

Non-nucleated mature erythrocytes of human blood were stored at 4℃ in darkness for 4 hours. Upon the storage erythrocytes were separated by the fractional centrifugal method. The effect of divalent metallic ions on the percent of dye uptake rate of Evans' blue as a neutral salt of a organic dye in the presence of 580mM glucose was observed and the following results were obtained. 1. The dye uptake rate was found to be kinetically proportional in function of incubation period in the stored eryrocytes for 4 hours with the dye uptake of 42.2 percent for 120 minutes incubation. 2. The statistical analysis of this effect of the relationship between the incubation period and the percent dye uptake rate was found to be very highly significant (p<0.001). 3. The effect of magnesium ion (5 mM) on the percent dye uptake rate in function of incubation times was kinetically increased in human matured erythrocytes when compared to that of control group. At the end of 40 minutes of incubation the human matured erythrocytes treated with magnesium ion ( 5 mM) increased about 1.5 times more of 30.5 percent dye uptake than the control group of 20.3 percent dye uptake. 4. The effect of magnesium ion was slightly accelerated with the addition of 0.01 mM magnesium ion; between 0.05 mM and 10 mM of magnesium ions the influence of this divalent metallic ion was greatest. 5. The increase in the concentration of copper ion inhibited proportionally and remarkablly the percent dye uptake rate by human matured erythrocytes. Fifty percent inhibitory concentration (1_50) of copper ion on the percent dye uptake rate by human matured erythrocytes was found to be 10.07 micromoles. 6. Also, the effect of ferrous ion (5 micromoles) on the percent dye uptake rate is human matured erythrocytes for 40 minutes incubation was found to be 21.4 percent inhibition and it inhibited that the effect of hematin (5 micormoles) on the percent dye uptake rate o Evans' blue by 65.6 percent points for 40 minutes incubation. 7. No effect was exerted on the percent dye uptake rate in human matured erythrocytes during the incubation periods by the addition of calciumion (5 mM) and manganese ion (tmicromoles). 8. The addition of lithium ion at the concentration of 5 micormoles to reactant mixture was effectively increased on the percent dye uptake rate of Evans' blue for a incubation of 40 minutes when compared to that control group (20.3%) to 43.9 percent. In view of the above findings it is clear that the effect of magnesium ion and lithium ion, as divalent metallic ions, on the Evans' blue absorbed into non-nucleated erythrocytes is considered to accelerate this enhancing effect while it does not accelerate that of hematin and copper ion. However, the effects of calcium ion and manganese ion was ineffective on the percent dye uptake of Evans' blue by human matured erythrocytes.

A preliminary study was conducted to evaluate the immediate postoperative recovery and sodoeconomic efficacy after the surgical release of carpal tunnel syndrome by double incision technique. Sixty cases of carpal tunnel syndrome were operated by one surgeon between 1993 and 1995, and 44 cases in 39 patients were available for this study. Surgery was performed under axillary block, and the patients were evaluated preoperatively and at 3 and 6 weeks postoperatively. The evaluation was focused on the immediate recovery in terms of subjective symptoms of pain and paresthesia, local tenderness, strength of grip and pinch power and postoperative disability. It was observed that surgical release of carpal tunnel syndrome utilizing double incision technique was as effective as seen in the endoscopic release in terms of quicker recovery of pain, local tenderness and strength. It was also noted that this double incision technique was as safe and economically beneficial as observed in the conventional open procedure.
