요양보호사의 노인 관련 일에 대한 태도와 노인에 대한 행동 연구 = A Study on the Attitudes toward Working with Older Adults and the Behavior toward the Elderly among Caregivers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 요양보호사의 노인 관련 일에 대한 태도와 노인에 대한 행동 수준을 알아보고, 노인에 대한 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위한 것이다. 조사대상은 광주․전남 소재 노인복지시설에 종사하는 요양보호사 203명이었다. 연구결과, 연구대상자의 노인에 대한 행동은 비교적 긍정적이었다. 그리고 이들의 노인 관련 일에 대한 태도가 노인에 대한 행동에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 요인이었고, 다음으로 경력이 영향 요인으로 나타났다. 노인 관련 일에 대한 태도의 하위요인을 살펴보면, 직업에 대한 태도가 노인에 대한 행동에 영향을 미쳤고, 직업적 자기효능감은 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 노인 관련 일에 대해 요양보호사가 긍정적인 태도를 갖도록 하기 위한 교육의 필요성과 정책적 대안모색을 위한 논의를 시도하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the degree of the attitudes toward working with older adults and the behavior toward elderly among caregivers. The data was collected from 203 caregivers in G. City and Junnam area.
The results of this study was analyzes as follows:First, participants' behavior toward elderly is slightly positive. Second, the most influential factors of the behavior was the attitudes toward working with older adults, and career. Third, further investigation was conducted by separating the items into two categories: attitudes toward work and career self-efficacy. Only the attitudes toward work was influential factors of the behavior. Based on the findings the implications for social welfare policy and the need for a social education program on the positive attitudes toward working the older adults of caregivers was discussed.
