      • Color Adjustment Based on Support Vector Regression for Multi-View Video

        Huadong Sun,Xuesong Jin,Zhipeng Fan,Lizhi Zhang,Qian Wu 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.10 No.1

Significant color discrepancies between the different camera views can be observed in multi-view video sequences. In this paper, a color adjustment algorithm based on support vector regression is proposed. A mapping function is established by extracted feature points from original-image and target-image. Then the mapping function is applied to the original image to obtain the corrected image. Experimental results show that the proposed method can produce good correction result. It also shows that the color differences between multi-view video can be effectively reduced by SVR.

Triptolide downregulates Rac1 and the JAK/STAT3 pathway and inhibits colitis-related colon cancer progression

        Zhipeng Wang,Haifeng Jin,Ruodan Xu,Qibing Mei,Daiming Fan 생화학분자생물학회 2009 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.41 No.10

Triptolide, a diterpenoid triepoxide from the traditional Chinese medicinal herb Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f., is a potential treatment for autoimmune diseases as well a possible anti-tumor agent. It inhibits proliferation of coloretal cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. In this study, its ability to block progress of colitis to colon cancer, and its molecular mechanism of action are investigated. A mouse model for colitis-induced colorectal cancer was used to test the effect of triptolide on cancer progression. Treatment of mice with triptolide decreased the incidence of colon cancer formation, and increased survival rate. Moreover, triptolide decreased the incidence of tumors in nude mice inoculated with cultured colon cancer cells dose-dependently. In vitro, triptolide inhibited the proliferation, migration and colony formation of colon cancer cells. Secretion of IL6 and levels of JAK1, IL6R and phosphorylated STAT3 were all reduced by triptolide treatment. Triptolide prohibited Rac1 activity and blocked cyclin D1 and CDK4 expression, leading to G1 arrest. Triptolide interrupted the IL6R-JAK/STAT pathway that is crucial for cell proliferation, survival, and inflammation. This suggests that triptolide might be a candidate for prevention of colitis induced colon cancer because it reduces inflammation and prevents tumor formation and development. THE FRACTIONAL SCHRÖDINGER-POISSON SYSTEMS WITH INFINITELY MANY SOLUTIONS

Jin, Tiankun,Yang, Zhipeng Korean Mathematical Society 2020 대한수학회지 Vol.57 No.2

In this paper, we study the existence of infinitely many large energy solutions for the supercubic fractional Schrödinger-Poisson systems. We consider different superlinear growth assumptions on the non-linearity, starting from the well-know Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz type condition. We obtain three different existence results in this setting by using the Fountain Theorem, all these results extend some results for semelinear Schrödinger-Poisson systems to the nonlocal fractional setting.

Impact of Cargo Stacking Modes on Temperature Distribution Inside Marine Reefer Containers

        Ankang Kan,Jin Hu,Zhipeng Guo,Chuang Meng,Chen Chao 대한설비공학회 2017 International Journal of Air-Conditioning and Refr Vol.25 No.3

The refrigerated/chilled quality of marine cargo is vitally influenced by the temperature distribution inside reefer container. The stacking mode is a key factor affecting temperature distribution. CFD method is employed to model and simulate a 20-ft standard reefer container, in which seven cargo stacking modes are emulated to numerically analyze the internal temperature distribution inside the container. The stacking cargo is assumed as solid stack without heat release and the variables, such as stack number, height, length and gap, are considered in seven simulation cases. The results show that the temperature distributions become disordered along with increase in the stack height; the temperature difference increase along with increase in the stack length; the temperature tends to be isothermal when the gap of the stacks or the space between the stack and sidewall surface is enlarging. The simulation results are in very good agreement with the experimental results.

Adversarial Complementary Learning for Just Noticeable Difference Estimation

        Dong Yu,Jian Jin,Lili Meng,Zhipeng Chen,Huaxiang Zhang 한국인터넷정보학회 2024 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.18 No.2

Recently, many unsupervised learning-based models have emerged for Just Noticeable Difference (JND) estimation, demonstrating remarkable improvements in accuracy. However, these models suffer from a significant drawback is that their heavy reliance on handcrafted priors for guidance. This restricts the information for estimating JND simply extracted from regions that are highly related to handcrafted priors, while information from the rest of the regions is disregarded, thus limiting the accuracy of JND estimation. To address such issue, on the one hand, we extract the information for estimating JND in an Adversarial Complementary Learning (ACoL) way and propose an ACoL-JND network to estimate the JND by comprehensively considering the handcrafted priors-related regions and non-related regions. On the other hand, to make the handcrafted priors richer, we take two additional priors that are highly related to JND modeling into account, i.e., Patterned Masking (PM) and Contrast Masking (CM). Experimental results demonstrate that our proposed model outperforms the existing JND models and achieves state-of-the-art performance in both subjective viewing tests and objective metrics assessments.

A long-term anti-corrosion and cathodic delamination resistant epoxy coating based on COF grafted GO nanofillers

        Tianxiang Sun,Kai Jin,Wei Wang,Wen Li,Tong Wang,Tengxun Yang,Jia Cheng,Zhipeng Zhao,Shougang Chen 한국공업화학회 2023 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.128 No.-

Here, a long-term anti-corrosive epoxy (EP) coating based on nano-hybrid filler was developed. The surfaceof graphene oxide (GO) was aminated with (3-aminopropyl) triethoxysilane (APTES), and then theporous covalent organic framework (COF) was in-situ grown on amino functionalized graphene oxide(FGO) nanosheets by Schiff-based reaction to prepare FGO-COF nanofillers. Different characterizationmethods proved the successful modification of GO nanosheets with COF particles. The excellent waterresistance of composite coatings was characterized through contact angle, adhesion, and water uptaketests. Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and molecular dynamics (MD) methods showed thatthe grafting of COF enhanced the dispersion and compatibility of GO in the coating. EIS measurements, salt spray analysis and cathodic delamination test indicated the significant improvements in the protectiveproperties of the composite coatings compared with pure EP coating. The low-frequency impedancemodulus of 1% FGO-COF composite coating reached higher than 6.8 109 Xcm2 after immersed in seawater for 60 days. In addition, the 1% FGO-COF composite coating performed only 34% delamination ratioafter 120 h cathodic delamination test.

In situ growth of hollow Cu2O spheres using anionic vesicles as soft templates

        Xiaolin Luo,Zhe Pan,Fei Pei,Zhipeng Jin,Kangkang Miao,Pengfei Yang,Huaming Qian,Qiang Chen,Guodong Feng 한국공업화학회 2018 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.59 No.-

Geometrically optimizing anionic vesicles were fabricated using two types of anionic surfactants with antipodal molecular configuration. The influence of counterions on the anionic vesicles was systematically investigated to maintain electrostatic interaction between the anionic vesicles and the precursors, as well as to ensure the structural integrity of the vesicle templates. The transcription from vesicles to hollow Cu2O spheres was achieved through an in situ reduction approach. The obtained hollow Cu2O spheres were assembled by abundant nanoparticles around the vesicle interface and showed preferable adsorption capacity for methyl orange in the dark compared with the solid Cu2O spheres synthesized without any surfactants.

      • Static behavior of high strength friction-grip bolt shear connectors in composite beams

        Ying Xing,Yanbin Liu,Caijun Shi,Zhipeng Wang,Qi Guo,Jin-feng Jiao 국제구조공학회 2022 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.42 No.3

Superior to traditional welded studs, high strength friction-grip bolted shear connectors facilitate the assembling and demounting of the composite members, which maximizes the potential for efficiency in the construction and retrofitting of new and old structures respectively. Hence, it is necessary to investigate the structural properties of high strength friction-grip bolts used in steel concrete composite beams. By means of push-out tests, an experimental study was conducted on post-installed high strength friction-grip bolts, considering the effects of different bolt size, concrete strength, bolt tensile strength and bolt pretension. The test results showed that bolt shear fracture was the dominant failure mode of all specimens. Based on the loadslip curves, uplifting curves and bolt tensile force curves between the precast concrete slab and steel beam obtained by push-out tests, the anti-slip performance of steel-concrete interface and shear behavior of bolt shank were studied, including the quantitative analysis of anti-slip load, and anti-slip stiffness, frictional coefficient, shear stiffness of bolt shank and ultimate shear capacity. Meanwhile, the interfacial anti-slip stiffness and shear stiffness of bolt shank were defined reasonably. In addition, a total of 56 push-out finite element models verified by the experimental results were also developed, and used to conduct parametric analyses for investigating the shear behavior of high-strength bolted shear connectors in steel-concrete composite beams. Finally, on ground of the test results and finite element simulation analysis, a new design formula for predicting shear capacity was proposed by nonlinear fitting, considering the bolt diameter, concrete strength and bolt tensile strength. Comparison of the calculated value from proposed formula and test results given in the relevant references indicated that the proposed formulas can give a reasonable prediction.

Mechanism of crack propagation for K9 glass

        Xiaoguang Guo,Yutong Shi,Xichun Luo,Renke Kang,Zhuji Jin,Fei Ding,Zhipeng Li 한국정밀공학회 2019 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.20 No.5

In order to study the mechanism of crack propagation, the varied cutting-depth scratch experiment is carried out and smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) simulation method is used to assistant the investigation. The SPH simulation results reveal that crack will propagate in the direction where stress concentration exceeds the fracture toughness of K9 glass. The initial crack length in critical transition depth is calculated by combining the critical stress of fracture and the fracture toughness of K9 glass. Based on the effective plastic strain, the relation between scratching depth and crack depth is obtained. The recovery of crack tip is found and explained from the relationship between cutting depth and crack depth. Using the energy balance theory of Griffith, the variation of material internal energy is revealed. Comparing the scratching forces obtained from experiment and simulation, the validity of simulation results is verified. The phenomenon of crack delayed propagation is found in both experiment and simulation. The explanation of mechanism is given.
