      • 인지적 차이·윤리적 시련·시공간 한정 : 봉준호 영화 속 서스펜스 설정

장저화 ( Zhang Zehua ) 한국영화교육학회 2022 영화교육연구 Vol.16 No.-

Director Bong Joon-ho integrates the real problems of Korean society into the film through ingenious narrative techniques. While explaining the profound meaning, he does not forget to enrich the story of the film, and fully creates suspense to firmly grasp the audience's attention and win the public's attention. At the same time, as one of the most suspenseful directors in the post-Hitchcock era, Bong Joon-ho also showed a different kind of suspense setting charm in the movie.the suspense generated by different cognitive perspectives, the suspense caused by the pressure on the ethics and morality of the characters in the play, and the suspense generated by the limitation of the time and space of the film are the suspense setting methods that often appear in Bong Joon-ho's film. Under Bong Joon-ho's superb narrative skills, these suspense techniques can appear alone or flexibly mixed according to different contents, so as to achieve the purpose of creating or escalating suspense and adding luster to the film.

<P><B>Summary</B></P> <P>We characterized the epigenetic landscape of genes encoding long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) across 6,475 tumors and 455 cancer cell lines. In stark contrast to the CpG island hypermethylation phenotype in cancer, we observed a recurrent hypomethylation of 1,006 lncRNA genes in cancer, including <I>EPIC1</I> (epigenetically-induced lncRNA1). Overexpression of <I>EPIC1</I> is associated with poor prognosis in luminal B breast cancer patients and enhances tumor growth <I>in vitro</I> and <I>in vivo.</I> Mechanistically, <I>EPIC1</I> promotes cell-cycle progression by interacting with MYC through <I>EPIC1</I>'s 129–283 nt region. <I>EPIC1</I> knockdown reduces the occupancy of MYC to its target genes (e.g., <I>CDKN1A</I>, <I>CCNA2</I>, <I>CDC20</I>, and <I>CDC45</I>). An Integrated Evaluation Method for the Grouting Effect in Karst Areas

        Qing Jin,Zehua Bu,Dongdong Pan,Haiyan Li,Zhaofeng Li,Yichi Zhang 대한토목학회 2021 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.25 No.8

Our proposed integrated evaluation method for the grouting effect in karst areas is based on the cloud model (CM), the analytic hierarchical process (AHP), and a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation system. Our method fully considers the fuzziness and randomness of the evaluation indices, and bridges the gap between qualitative information and a quantitative evaluation value. The evaluation index system for the grouting effect is established by integrating metrics related to the construction technology, apparent parameters, and observational data from inspection holes and geophysical exploration techniques. First, the weight of each index is calculated using the AHP, which has been modified by the CM. Then, we calculate the cloud model membership degree for each index. Finally, we determine the comprehensive evaluation level by examining the similarity measures between the various cloud models. In this case study, we use our integrated method to evaluate the initial results of the grouting treatment project in the China Resources Cement (Pingnan) Limestone Mine. Our results are validated by subsequent monitoring results for this project. This study provides valuable insight into the treatment of water inflow in karst areas.

        ARD1/NAA10 acetylation in prostate cancer

        Katherine J. Kuhns,Guanyi Zhang,Zehua Wang,Wanguo Liu 생화학분자생물학회 2018 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.50 No.-

Prostate cancer (PCa) is the second most common cancer in men. Androgen receptor (AR) signaling pathway plays a crucial role in prostate development and homeostasis. Dysregulation of this pathway activates AR leading to PCa pathogenesis and progression. AR binds testosterone and other male hormones, which then undergoes posttranslational modification for AR nuclear translocation and transcriptional activation. AR activation by post-translational modification is thus imperative for PCa cell growth and survival. Identification and understanding of the pathological and mechanistic roles of AR modifications may increase our understanding of AR activation in PCa and provide new therapeutic options. Recently, AR acetylation has been described as an important step for AR activation. Upregulation of several acetyltransferases has been reported to be associated with PCa progression. Herein, we provide a general understanding of AR acetylation, with a special emphasis on ARD1, and potential therapies that may be exploited against the ARD1–AR axis for PCa treatment.

Diets structure of a common lizard Eremias argus and their effects on grasshoppers: Implications for a potential biological agent

        Xunbing Huang,Huihui Wu,Xiongbing Tu,Zhuoran Zhang,Hongtian Su,Yongming Shi,Guang-Jun Wang,Guangchun Cao,Xiangqun Nong,Zehua Zhang 한국응용곤충학회 2016 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.19 No.1

Outbreaks of grasshoppers (Orthoptera: Acrididae) often cause serious ecological damage. Recently, there has been interest in using natural enemies of grasshopper for their biological control. This study examined the biology and predation on grasshoppers by Eremias argus, a common lizard in Inner Mongolia. Its developmental duration and life history are consistent with adaptation to grasshopper phenology. The diet structure of E. argus included grasshoppers, beetles, ants, leafhoppers, moths, bees and spiders. A positive correlation between E. argus population numbers and grasshopper population numbers was highly significant. We built models describing the functional response and intraspecific competition for E. argus adults. The functional feeding response of E. argus on grasshopper was classed as Holling type III. The maximum number of grasshoppers consumed by female and male adults were 11.2 and 7.0 individuals per day, respectively. Predatory ability was strongest in female adults, with the second and third instars of Oedaleus asiaticus preferred. The predation ratios(E) of E. argus on grasshoppers declinedwith increasing lizard density, especially for female adult E. argus. E. argus could play an important role in grasshopper control and maintaining a population of E. argus in the grassland ecosystemcould effectively control low-density grasshopper populations on grassland. Suggestions on how E. argus could fit into an IPM programme for biological control of grasshopper are discussed.

Composite passivity-based control of DC/DC boost converters with constant power loads in DC Microgrids

        Liu, Weipeng,Cui, Xiaofeng,Zhou, Jiyao,Zhang, Zehua,Hou, Mingxuan,Shan, Shengqi,Wu, Shang The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2022 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.22 No.11

In this paper, a composite passivity-based control method based on a finite-time disturbance observer (FTDO) and a passivity-based control (PBC) is proposed to improve the stability of the Boost converters with constant power loads in DC Microgrids. The FTDO improves the robustness and rapidity of the system by accurately estimating system disturbances. The PBC ensures the stability of the system via its transient energy dissipation. The FTDO operates parallel to the PBC, and compensates the observed value to the PBC through a feedforward channel. When compared with other controls, the proposed composite passivity-based control has the advantages of a fast dynamic response and accurate tracking of system disturbances in a wide working range. Finally, the control method proposed in this paper is verified by MATLAB/Simulink simulations and hardware in the hard-ware-in-loop experiments.

        Mengxin Xu,Yuan He,Shengxue Zhang,Lubei Liu,Tiancai Jiang,Zehua Liang,Tong Liu,Yue Tao,Chunlong Li,Qitong Huang,Fengfeng Wang,Hao Guo,Feng Bai,Xianbo Xu,Shichun Huang,Xiaoli Li,Zhijun Wang,Shenghu Zha Korean Nuclear Society 2023 Nuclear Engineering and Technology Vol.55 No.7

A superconducting ion-Linac (iLinac), which is supposed to work as the injector in the High Intensity heavy-ion Accelerator Facility project, is under development at the Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. The iLinac is a superconducting heavy ion linear accelerator approximately 100 meters long and contains 96 superconducting cavities in two types of 17 cyromodules. Two types of superconducting resonators (quarter-wave resonators with a frequency of 81.25 MHz and an optimal beta β = v/c = 0.07 called QWR007 and half-wave resonators with a frequency of 162.5 MHz and an optimal beta β = 0.15 called HWR015) have been investigated. The cavity design included extensive multi-parameter electromagnetic simulations and mechanical analysis, and its results are described in details. The fundamental power coupler and cavity dynamic tuner designs are also presented in this article. The prototypes are under manufacturing and expected to be ready in 2023.

Vapour–liquid–solid growth of monolayer MoS2 nanoribbons

        Li, Shisheng,Lin, Yung-Chang,Zhao, Wen,Wu, Jing,Wang, Zhuo,Hu, Zehua,Shen, Youde,Tang, Dai-Ming,Wang, Junyong,Zhang, Qi,Zhu, Hai,Chu, Leiqiang,Zhao, Weijie,Liu, Chang,Sun, Zhipei,Taniguchi, Takaaki,Os Nature Publishing Group UK 2018 Nature Materials Vol.17 No.6

<P>Chemical vapour deposition of two-dimensional materials typically involves the conversion of vapour precursors to solid products in a vapour-solid-solid mode. Here, we report the vapour-liquid-solid growth of monolayer MoS2, yielding highly crystalline ribbons with a width of few tens to thousands of nanometres. This vapour-liquid-solid growth is triggered by the reaction between MoO3 and NaCl, which results in the formation of molten Na-Mo-O droplets. These droplets mediate the growth of MoS2 ribbons in the 'crawling mode' when saturated with sulfur. The locally well-defined orientations of the ribbons reveal the regular horizontal motion of the droplets during growth. Using atomic-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy and second harmonic generation microscopy, we show that the ribbons are grown homoepitaxially on monolayer MoS2 with predominantly 2H-or 3R-type stacking. Our findings highlight the prospects for the controlled growth of atomically thin nano-structure arrays for nanoelectronic devices and the development of unique mixed-dimensional structures.</P>
