Yuqing Guo,Nannan Ge,Kai Wang,Meng Shen,Ming Wang 한양대학교 세라믹연구소 2016 Journal of Ceramic Processing Research Vol.17 No.11
In this paper, the numerical computation was performed to investigate the influence of the heat shields of sapphire crystalfurnace on temperature distributions for the Kyropoulos sapphire crystal growth process. The heat shields with different shieldradius, shield layers and the shield materials were considered, the Kyropoulos growth process was simulated by the finiteelementmethod. It is found that radial temperature gradient of crystal would increase along with the increase of the shieldradius and the decrease of the layers of top shield. If properly increasing the shield radius and the layers of the top shield, axialtemperature gradient in crystal would decrease, but the layers of side shield have little influence on the temperature in crystal. The heat shields made of different materials were compared by analyzing the crystal temperature distribution. Simulationresults showed that temperature distribution in crystal by W-Mo shield is much closer to that of ZrO2 shield, both oftemperature distribution are higher than that of graphite heat shield.

I n order to compare the in vitro effects of crude extracts of broth culture filtrate protein (BCF-P) from the supernatant of an H. pylori liquid culture and epidermal growth factor (EGF) on acid secretion by isolated rabbit gastric parietal cells. Isolated rabbit gastric parietal cells were incubated with BCF-P or EGF for 1 and 12 h. Morphological changes were assessed by electron microscopy, and 14C-aminopyrine (14C-AP) uptake and H+-K+ATP mRNA expression were measured. At 50 μg/mL, BCF-P stimulated acid secretion by parietal cells (P<0.05) at 1 h but not at 12 h. At 100 μg/mL, BCF-P significantly inhibited histamine-stimulated acid secretion (P<0.05) and decreased H+- K+ATP mRNA expression in parietal cells, but it was reversed after EGF exposure. Crude extracted proteins from BCF-P damaged the inner cell membrane structure of parietal cells, reduced H+-K+ATP gene expression, and inhibited acid secretion, activities that differed markedly from those of EGF.

The aim of this study was to investigating whether lncRNA H19 promotes myocardial fibrosis by suppressing the miR-29a-3p/miR-29b-3p-VEGFA/TGF-β axis. Patients with atrial fibrillation (AF) and healthy volunteers were included in the study, and their biochemical parameters were collected. In addition, pcDNA3.1-H19, si-H19, and miR-29a/b-3p mimic/inhibitor were transfected into cardiac fibroblasts (CFs), and proliferation of CFs was detected by MTT assay. Expression of H19 and miR-29a/b-3p were detected using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, and expression of α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA), collagen I, collagen II, matrix metalloproteinase-2 (MMP-2), and elastin were measured by western blot analysis. The dual luciferase reporter gene assay was carried out to detect the sponging relationship between H19 and miR-29a/b-3p in CFs. Compared with healthy volunteers, the level of plasma H19 was significantly elevated in patients with AF, while miR-29a-3p and miR-29b-3p were markedly depressed (P < 0.05). Serum expression of lncRNA H19 was negatively correlated with the expression of miR-29a-3p and miR-29b-3p among patients with AF (rs = –0.337, rs = –0.236). Moreover, up-regulation of H19 expression and down-regulation of miR-29a/b-3p expression facilitated proliferation and synthesis of extracellular matrix (ECM)-related proteins. SB431542 and si-VEGFA are able to reverse the promotion of miR-29a/b-3p on proliferation of CFs and ECM-related protein synthesis. The findings of the present study suggest that H19 promoted CF proliferation and collagen synthesis by suppressing the miR-29a-3p/miR-29b-3p-VEGFA/TGF-β axis, and provide support for a potential new direction for the treatment of AF.

The junction properties of tunnel silicon oxide (SiOx) passivated contact (TOPCon) with n-type poly-Si on p-type c-Si wafer are characterized using current-voltage (J-V) and capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurements. The dark J-V curves show a standard diode characteristic with a turn-on voltage of ∼0.63 V, indicating a p-n junction is formed. While the C-V curve displays an irregular shape with features of 1) a slow C increase with the decrease of the magnitude of reverse bias voltage, being used to estimate the built-in potential (Vbi), 2) a significant increase at a given positive bias voltage, corresponding to the geometric capacitance crossing the ultrathin SiOx, and 3) a sharp decrease to negative values, resulting from the charge tunneling through the SiOx layer. The C of depleting layer deviates from the normal linear curve in the 1/C2-V plot, which is caused by the diffusion of P dopants from the n-type poly-Si into the p-type c-Si wafer as confirmed by the electrochemical capacitance-voltage measurements. However, the 1/C2+γ-V plots with γ > 0 leads to linear curves with a proper γ and the Vbi can still be estimated. We find that the Vbi is the range of 0.75–0.85 V, increases with the increase of the doping ratio during the poly-Si fabrication process, and correlates with the passivation quality as measured by the reverse saturated current and implied open circuit voltage extracted from transient photoconductivity decay.

Amorphous InGaZnO (a-InGaZnO) thin film transistors (TFTs) with stability and low-temperature deposition are importantchallenges for their application in flexible electronics. Herein, a-InGaZnO films were successfully obtained throughout thewhole process in the room-temperature sputtering system. An intermediate nitrogen treatment a-InGaZnO film link contributedto high performance a-InGaZnO TFTs. The current switching ratio of the optimal nitrogen treatment transistor is closeto 107,the field-effect mobility (μFE) is 11.7 cm2/Vs and threshold voltage (VTH) is − 0.12 V, respectively. And the 4-daythreshold voltage offset (ΔVTH) is reduced from 12.98 to 4.92 V. The improved electrical properties may be attributed to thereduction of defect concentration and average interfacial trap density due to nitrogen occupation of oxygen vacancies (VO).

This paper focuses on the identification of a multivariable controlled autoregressive-like (CAR-like) system. A joint identification algorithm of stochastic gradient and least squares is deduced for estimating the system parameters by decomposing the multivariable CAR-like system into two subsystems, which avoids the calculation of the matrix inversion. To further improve the parameter estimation accuracy, a joint identification algorithm of hierarchical multi-innovation stochastic gradient and least squares is proposed by using the multi-innovation identification theory. The simulation results confirm that these proposed algorithms are effective.

Objective: The presence of coagulative necrosis (CN) in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) indicates a poor prognosis, while the absence of CN indicates a good prognosis. The purpose of this study was to build and validate a radiomics signature based on preoperative CT imaging data to estimate CN status in ccRCC. Materials and Methods: Altogether, 105 patients with pathologically confirmed ccRCC were retrospectively enrolled in this study and then divided into training (n = 72) and validation (n = 33) sets. Thereafter, 385 radiomics features were extracted from the three-dimensional volumes of interest of each tumor, and 10 traditional features were assessed by two experienced radiologists using triple-phase CT-enhanced images. A multivariate logistic regression algorithm was used to build the radiomics score and traditional predictors in the training set, and their performance was assessed and then tested in the validation set. The radiomics signature to distinguish CN status was then developed by incorporating the radiomics score and the selected traditional predictors. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was plotted to evaluate the predictive performance. Results: The area under the ROC curve (AUC) of the radiomics score, which consisted of 7 radiomics features, was 0.855 in the training set and 0.885 in the validation set. The AUC of the traditional predictor, which consisted of 2 traditional features, was 0.843 in the training set and 0.858 in the validation set. The radiomics signature showed the best performance with an AUC of 0.942 in the training set, which was then confirmed with an AUC of 0.969 in the validation set. Conclusion: The CT-based radiomics signature that incorporated radiomics and traditional features has the potential to be used as a non-invasive tool for preoperative prediction of CN in ccRCC.
