        고급 한국어 학습자를 위한 읽기 교육에 관한 연구 : 논설문 텍스트를 중심으로

        Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing are four basic skills in term of learning the foreign languages. Among them, Reading is the foundation to support other three skills. If the ultimate objective of foreign language teaching is to train and improve the language communication skill of students, so does the teaching of Reading. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate what kind of role should be taken by the teaching of Reading in teaching a foreign language. The differences and similarities between teaching a foreign language and teaching the mother(native) language are discussed. Furthermore, in teaching Korean language as a foreign(second) language, how to set the objective of the teaching of Reading, the standard to choose Reading materials, how to instruct students to learn Reading in order to improve their foreign language skill are described. Taking Reading and Life as an example, the paper presents solid Reading instruction plan and some detailed steps about Reading instruction.

        Light-Chain Cardiac Amyloidosis: Cardiac Magnetic Resonance for Assessing Response to Chemotherapy

        Objective: Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) is a diagnostic tool that provides precise and reproducible information about cardiac structure, function, and tissue characterization, aiding in the monitoring of chemotherapy response in patients with lightchain cardiac amyloidosis (AL-CA). This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of CMR in monitoring responses to chemotherapy in patients with AL-CA. Materials and Methods: In this prospective study, we enrolled 111 patients with AL-CA (50.5% male; median age, 54 [interquartile range, 49–63] years). Patients underwent longitudinal monitoring using biomarkers and CMR imaging. At followup after chemotherapy, patients were categorized into superior and inferior response groups based on their hematological and cardiac laboratory responses to chemotherapy. Changes in CMR findings across therapies and differences between response groups were analyzed. Results: Following chemotherapy (before vs. after), there were significant increases in myocardial T2 (43.6 ± 3.5 ms vs. 44.6 ± 4.1 ms; P = 0.008), recovery in right ventricular (RV) longitudinal strain (median of -9.6% vs. -11.7%; P = 0.031), and decrease in RV extracellular volume fraction (ECV) (median of 53.9% vs. 51.6%; P = 0.048). These changes were more pronounced in the superior-response group. Patients with superior cardiac laboratory response showed significantly greater reductions in RV ECV (-2.9% [interquartile range, -8.7%–1.1%] vs. 1.7% [-5.5%–7.1%]; P = 0.017) and left ventricular ECV (-2.0% [-6.0%–1.3%] vs. 2.0% [-3.0%–5.0%]; P = 0.01) compared with those with inferior response. Conclusion: Cardiac amyloid deposition can regress following chemotherapy in patients with AL-CA, particularly showing more prominent regression, possibly earlier, in the RV. CMR emerges as an effective tool for monitoring associated tissue characteristics and ventricular functional recovery in patients with AL-CA undergoing chemotherapy, thereby supporting its utility in treatment response assessment.

        Strengthening extraction of lithium and rubidium from activated α-spodumene concentrate via sodium carbonate roasting

        As a critical resource, lithium is necessary for the flourishing of clean energy as an upstream raw material. With the global popularity of lithium batteries and strict requirements for environmental protection, ashort, cost-effective lithium extraction process from a-spodumene was critical. In this paper, a novel processfor efficient and direct extraction of lithium from a-spodumene was proposed. The main contents ofthe process were sodium roasting, water quenching and strengthening leaching. Firstly, the thermodynamicbehavior of the roasting products was analyzed using Factsage 7.0 software. Subsequently, the factorsof lithium extraction were investigated by single-factor condition experiments. And the responsesurface methodology (RSM) was used to carry out the three-factor and three-level Box-Behnken experiments. The investigation revealed that a-spodumene reacted directly with Na2CO3 at high temperature toform Li2SiO3, NaAlSiO4, and Na2SiO3. The stable aluminosilicate structure in a-spodumene was destroyedby the combined effect of sodium roasting and water quenching, which played a significant role in therelease of lithium. In addition, the Na2CO3 dosage dominated the effect of lithium extraction, followedby roasting temperature and roasting time. Based on the model optimization results, the optimal roastingconditions were determined to be roasting at 1100 C for 30 min with the addition of 45% Na2CO3. Theextraction rates of Li and Rb were 95.9% and 90.3%, respectively, whereas those of Al was only 1.5%. This process provides a technological solution for the high-efficiency and synergistic extraction of valuableelements in a-spodumene.

        Bilibili: Soaring to be China's largest Video Community for Young People

        Bilibili, the most popular software in China among young people, deserves further exploration. This report aims to analyze how Bilibili has grown from a small website full of pirate videos to a preferred video community for China's younger generation (under 35 years old) today through community atmosphere building, content ecology maintenance, and understanding the mindset of Generation Z+ (born from 1985 to 2009). There are four main segments in this report. The timeline shows the major events that have shaped Bilibili since its foundation. Second, this report analyzes its four important turning points. Moreover, the success factors exhibit what makes Bilibili stand out from the many short-form video platforms in China. For example, Bilibili grasped the psychology of young people, managed to attract young people, and came out with its differentiation strategy. Finally, this report summarizes the lessons that students and entrepreneurs can learn from Bilibili's success.

        An FPGA-Based Modified Adaptive PID Controller for DC/DC Buck Converters

        On the basis of the conventional PID control algorithm, a modified adaptive PID (MA-PID) control algorithm is presented to improve the steady-state and dynamic performance of closed-loop systems. The proposed method has a straightforward structure without excessively increasing the complexity and cost. It can adaptively adjust the values of the control parameters ($K_p$, $K_i$ and $K_d$) by following a new control law. Simulation results show that the line transient response of the MA-PID is better than that of the adaptive digital PID because the differential coefficient $K_d$ is introduced to changes. In addition, experimental results based on a FPGA indicate that the MA-PID control algorithm reduces the recovery time by 62.5% in response to a 1V line transient, 50% in response to a 500mA load transient, and 23.6% in response to a steady-state deviation, when compared with the conventional PID control algorithm.

        Shear-Wave Elastography of the Breast: Added Value of a Quality Map in Diagnosis and Prediction of the Biological Characteristics of Breast Cancer

        Objective: To determine the added value of a shear-wave elastography (SWE) quality map (QM) in the diagnosis of breast lesions and in predicting the biological characteristics of invasive breast cancer. Materials and Methods: Between January 2016 and February 2019, this study included 368 women with 368 pathologically proven breast lesions, which appeared as poor-quality regions in the QM of SWE. To measure shear-wave velocity (SWV), seven regions of interest were placed in each lesion with and without QM guidance. Under QM guidance, poor-quality areas were avoided. Diagnostic performance was calculated for mean SWV (SWVmean), max SWV (SWVmax), and standard deviation (SD) with QM guidance (SWVmean + QM, SWVmax + QM, and SD + QM, respectively) and without QM guidance (SWVmean - QM, SWVmax - QM, and SD - QM, respectively). For invasive cancers, the relationship between SWV findings and biological characteristics was investigated with and without QM guidance. Results: Of the 368 women (mean age, 47 years; SD, 10.8 years) enrolled, 159 had benign breast lesions and 209 had malignant breast lesions. SWVmean + QM (3.6 ± 1.39 m/s) and SD + QM (1.02 ± 0.84) were significantly different from SWVmean - QM (3.29 ± 1.22 m/s) and SD - QM (1.46 ± 1.06), respectively (all p < 0.001). For differential diagnosis of breast lesions, the sensitivity and areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) of SWVmean + QM (sensitivity: 89%; AUC: 0.932) were better than those of SWVmean - QM (sensitivity, 84.2%; AUC, 0.912) (all p < 0.05). There was no significant difference in sensitivity and specificity between SD + QM and SD - QM (all p = 1.000). Among the biological characteristics of invasive cancers, lymphovascular involvement, axillary lymph node metastasis, negative estrogen receptor status, negative progesterone receptor status, positive human epidermal growth factor receptor status, and aggressive molecular subtypes showed higher SWVmean + QM (all p < 0.05), while only lymphovascular involvement showed higher SWVmean - QM (p = 0.036). Conclusion: The use of QM in SWE might improve the diagnostic performance for breast lesions and facilitate prediction of the biological characteristics of invasive breast cancers.

        LC-MS/MS-based Quantification of Ten Neurotransmitters in Rat Limbic System and Serum: Application to Chronic Unpredictable Mild Stress- Induced Depression Rats

        As one of the most common mood disorders, numerous studies have shown depression is the main risk factor for non-suicidal self-harm. The pathogenesis of depression is complex, and a comprehensive and rapid measurement of monoamine neurotransmitters and their metabolites will be very helpful in understanding the pathogenesis of depression. Therefore, a rapid and sensitive underivatized liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method was developed and validated for the simultaneous monitoring of the levels of ten neurotransmitters and their metabolites in rat serum and limbic system and success- fully applied to quantify the changes of neurotransmitter levels in chronic unpredictable mild stress-induced rats. The analytes studied were mainly involved in tyrosine metabolism, tryptophan metabolism, and glutamate cycling pathways, which are important in the pathogenesis of depression. It had been verified the method was sensitive and effective, with satisfactory linear- ity, and met the requirements of biological sample determination. Levels of neurotransmitters in rat serum, hippocampus, amyg- dala, prefrontal cortex, striatum, and hypothalamus were determined via the method. The results showed serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, and their metabolites were decreased, glutamine was increased, and glutamate was disturbed in chronic unpre- dictable mild stress-induced depression rats. This method provides a new approach to studying the pathogenesis of depression and other neurological disorders.

        중국인 학습자를 위한 대우법 교육 현황과 과제

        For the purpose of offering Chinese learners an effective parallelism education, this study analyzes the studies in parallelism education as well as the status and problem of parallelism education. Moreover, this essay checks the fruitfulness and limitations of parallelism education, shows the way parallelism education study is going, and considers ways to improve the system. The conclusions are as follows: First, we must look deeply into the contrastive study about the parallelism of Chinese and Korean. Second, we must provide Chinese learners with information on education planning and study. For instance, a goal and content of the parallelism education, a teaching method, a learning theory. Third, we must grope for some reform measure to the dialogues in teaching materials. Fourth, we must study some reform measure to the parallelism in teaching materials and grammar books. Fifth, we must study a possibility and a method that graft parallelism on cultural education. Sixth, we must make an attempt to study the possibility that parallelism is establishing ties with audiovisual class, and conversation-based classes.
