Bruner의 敎育理論의 槪括的 考察

Jeromes Bruner's learning theory is considered to have come from a challenge of Russian scientific deveopment (Sputnic) and accordingly re-evaluation of John Dewey's theory. The writers reviewed the backgrounds, theorotical foundation and the limits of his theory in comparison with those of John Dewey's theory. Dewey emphasized empiricism on the foundation of pragmatism, while Bruner based his theory on the structure of knowledge from the standpoint of realism, especially neo-realism. Bruner regards knowledge as close inquiry of entity which lies in the object of study, but Dewey think knowledge as a result of learning by doing. Bruner viewed an instruction on the basis of learning about learning. He also insits on a branch curriculum or a spiral curriculum. He is confident of the unnecessity of readiness basing on the theory of Piaget's child development. He claims intrinsic motivation and transfer by structure in stead of traditional, extrinsic compensation in learning situation. There are a lots of points to be noted in his theory, but due consideration must be given before it is accepted in this society.

말티즈견에서 발생한 승모판폐쇄부전 1례

A 10 years old, intact male, Maltese dog with clinical signs of labored respiration, exercise intolerance and increasing of coughing was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. Physical examination revealed tachycardia, panting and mild cyanosis. This case was diagnosed as mitral valve insufficiency by clinical signs, ascultation, blood chemistry, radiography and electrocardiography. This dog was treated with ACE inhibitor (enalapril), diuretics (furosemide) and bronchodilator (aminophylline) for 14 days. After treatment, clnical signs were disappeared and also this dog was needed to be continuous monitoring and sodium restricted diet.

Polycythemia vera is one of the myeloproliferative diseases, and as such, is an example of clonal hematopoiesis. The progeny of a single, abnormal, hematopoietic stem cell gain a grwoth advantage over their normal counterparts resulting in overproduction of red cells generally accompanied by overproduction of granulocytes and platelets as well. There are a variety of nonspecific symptoms at onset related to the increased red cell mass and hematocrit accompanied by the more specific manifestations of pruhtis, erythromelalgia, and hepatic, portal, and mesenteric vein thrombosis. Splenomegaly and hypertension are common. Thrombosis and leukemia are frequent complication in polycythemia vera and are associated with severa organ damage and a high mortality. We report here the case of occurrence of myocardial and cerebral infarction in a patient with polycythemia vera.

제주 행원 풍력 발전 시스템의 모델링 및 해석

This paper presents the modeling and analysis of wind turbine generating system(WTGS) using doubly fed induction machine as a generator. Generally, wind turbine generating system is composed of complicated machinery. So it is very difficult to present the mathematic model. This means that WTGS has a nonlinear system. Using the real output data from the WTGS for one year, it is simply possible to express the rotor and gear coupling system as a torque generator according to wind speed. Also, the modeling of electrical system can be able to present using the data sheet from the company. To analyze the proposed method, computer simulation using Psim program are presented to support the discussion.

This study does questionnaire over recognition of landscape, major landscape and impressive site in rural community, and research visual preference through precessing pictures with a computer about major landscape. The landscape with natural fabric generally harmonizing with background is high in preference. Also, though major landscape factors are similar, preference is different according to shape, size, quality and color.

등치관법이 배수관망 해석에 미치는 영향

In this study, the errors caused by improper application of equivalent pipe method on analysis of network were investigated. Especially, the errors related to selection of C-coefficients, pipe lengths, pipe diameters and flow rates were focused. To reduce errors caused by applying equivalent pipe method in network analysis, both C-coefficient of each parallel pipe and large flow rate variation in the parallel pipes between connected junctions should be considered. Results of this study are as follows. When the different C-coefficients of each parallel pipe was not considered, the application of equivalent pipe method caused 47.84% error in headloss and 24.75% error in pipe flow in model network. Also, When large flow rate variation existed in the parallel pipes between connected junctions, equivalent pipe method caused 51.61% error in headloss.

클로즈 테스트의 타당성 진단

Since its first proposal three decades ago there has been pros and cons regarding the testability of what is known as cloze test. If its validity were proved as a means of testing readability, it should be widely publicized for practical application. With this in mind, one English major sophomore class and one English major junior class at Hanyang University were chosen as subjects for the present experiment. When the narrow scoring method was applied the average score the junior class obtained was 10 percent, and that of the sophomores 5. 4percent, which corresponded respectively one sixth and one fourteenth of their actual understanding of the given texts, as scored by the conventional methods, including translation, vocabulary, and comprehension questions. It is thus safe to say that the narrow scoring method was found to be totally inapplicable for measuring the overall readability or comprehendability of a foreign language student. This scoring method may, however, be applied when a teacher want to test their students with what he or she has taught. It is suggested therefore a new scoring method, i.e., multiple choice, be adopted for a reading comprehension test in order to achieve both objectivity and economy.

The study of the situation of thinning logs shows that the using of it is profitable right now and the fundamental step to maximizing the productivity of our forest. And with the politic and financial support about the production and using of it, the technical development for the use and promotion of thinning logs are in order. And the results are as follows. 1. The affected area was facing the right time and it was necessary for thinning. More than 90% of the mountain owners responded realized the necessity. The systematic thinning was needed. 2. Most of the owners were skeptical about the profitability of thinning. After the technical development for the increase of its profits, it will come true. 3. To cut down the cost of thinning, the introduction of equipment, the technical education and popularization, first of all are developed the mechanization and the activation of professional task-force are all required. To that end, the active financial support of government is necessary. 4. To obtain the profits of manufacturers and customers on account of distribution structure improvements, the attention of government and local self-government and the positive counter plans is necessary. 5. The continuous study on the technical development and credit is needed. And the national forest-management conditions should be made to decrease the waste of forest resources. 6. The utilization of thinning logs on investigation stand were low in using of timbers, were used mainly for pulp(63%), and for agriculture(12%).

저자들은 척수압박으로 하지마비를 보인 환자에서 수술 후에 급성 백혈병에 동반된 과립구성 육종으로 진단된 환자 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Granulocytic sarcoma(GS) is an uncommon tumor composed of immature cells of the granulocytic series. Most case of GS occur in the course of acute leukemia and the blast crisis of chronic leukemia, Rarely, however, it may present before leukemia becomes clinically apparent. It may also occur in patients with myeloproliferative disoders. GS has been reported that it occurs in 3% to 9% of patients with acute myelogenous leukemia(AML) and the incidence of GS is reported to be higher in patients with t(8;21). GS occurs relatively commonly in africa and has been reported to affect 10-25% of black children presenting with AML. This is very rare case of granulocytic sarcoma with AML(FAB M5) presented with spinal cord compression which was supported by decompression laminectomy.
