개의 기관 평활근에서 GABA수용체의 존재여부를 검정하고, 아울러 GABA와 diazepam의 작용기전을 추정해보기 위하여 다음과 같은 실험을 하였다. 개의 기관을 절재하여 4℃의 Tyrode 영양액내에서 폭 2mm 길이 15mm의 수평 근절편으로 만들었다. 기관근 절편은 양끝을 견사로 결찰하여 1ml의 Tyrode 영양액이 함유되어 있는 적출근편실험조내에서 등척성 장력을 측정하여 polygraph에 그 수축력을 묘기하였다. 실험조내의 영양액의 온도는 37℃로 유지시키고, 95%산소와 5% 이산화탄소의 혼합 기체를 공급하여 pH를 7.4로 유지하였다. 실험조 내에 장치된 두 개의 백금선 전극을 통하여 전기장자극을 가하고 전기장자극유발 수축에 대한 GABA와 diazepam 및 GABA 수용체 길항제들의 상호작용을 관찰하였다. GABA와 diazepam은 기관지 절편의 수축반응을 같은 양상, 같은 정도로 유의하게 억제하였다. GABA와 Diazepam에 의한 수축억제작용은 수용체 봉쇄제인 bicuculline에 의해서는 유의하게 길항되었으나 수용체 봉쇄제인 δ-Aminovaleric acid 에 의해서는 전혀 영향을 받지 않았다. 이상의 결과로 보아 본 실험의 조건하에서 개의 기관 평활근에는 수용체가 존재하여, GABA와 diazepam은 말초형의 수용체에 작용하여 콜린성신경지배에 의한 기관근 수축을 억제한다고 사료된다. This study aimed to investigate the existence of GABA receptor and the mechanisms of action of GABA and diazepam on the trachealis muscle isolated from dog. Horizontal muscle strips of 2mm×15mm were prepared from canine trachea, and isometric myography in isolated muscle chamber bubbled with 95/5%-O₂/CO₂ at 36℃, at the pH of 7.4 was performed. Muscle strips contracted responding to the electrical field stimulation (ESP) by 2∼20 Hz, 20 msec, monophasic square wave of 60 VDC GABA and diazepam suppressed the EFS-induced contractions to the similar extent, significantly. (p〈0.05) Bicuculline, a receptor antagonist blocked both GABA-and diazepam-inhibitions; but DAVA, a receptor antagonist did not affect either of them. These results suggest that in the canine trachealis muscle, there may be only receptor, and GABA and diazepam inhibit the contractility via receptor.

The emergence and dissemination of carbapenemase-producing Acinetobacter baumannii isolates have been reported worldwide, and A. baumannii isolates harboring <sub>OXA-23</sub> are often resistant to various antimicrobial agents. Antimicrobial resistance can be particularly strong for biofilm-forming A. baumannii isolates. We investigated the genetic basis for carbapenem resistance and biofilm-forming ability of multidrug-resistant (MDR) clinical isolates. Ninetytwo MDR A. baumannii isolates were collected from one university hospital located in the Chungcheong area of Korea over a 5-year period. Multiplex PCR and DNA sequencing were performed to characterize carbapenemase and bap genes. Clonal characteristics were analyzed using REP-PCR. In addition, imaging and quantification of biofilms were performed using a crystal violet assay. All 92 MDR A. baumannii isolates involved in our study contained the blaOXA-23 and bap genes. The average absorbance of biomass in Bap-producing strains was much greater than that in non-Bap-producing strains. In our study, only three REP-PCR types were found, and the isolates showing type A or type B were found more than 60 times among unique patients during the 5 years of surveillance. These results suggest that the isolates have persisted and colonized for 5 years, and biofilm formation ability has been responsible for their persistence and colonization.

The emergence and dissemination of Salmonella genomic island 1 (SGI1) are strongly associated with the occurrence of multidrug-resistant (MDR) enterobacteria in humans and animals. Diverse SGI1s have been reported among Salmonella enterica and Proteus mirabilis in several countries. We aimed to characterize SGI1 in P. mirabilis isolates from humans and chickens in Chungcheong Province, Korea. A total of 44 P. mirabilis isolates were recovered from humans (n = 20) and chickens (n = 24). Antimicrobial susceptibility was determined by disk diffusion assay. To detect and characterize SGI1s, PCR amplification and PCR mapping experiments were performed. Repetitive extragenic palindromic-PCR (REP-PCR) was performed to assess the clonality of the isolates. The four P. mirabilis strains (16.7%) from chicken harbored a SGI1, whereas none of the isolates from clinical specimens contained SGI1. The SGI1s detected in our study were all confirmed as SGI1-PmABB harboring aminoglycoside-resistant genes (aacCA5 and aadA7). In P. mirabilis isolates, the presence of SGI1-PmABB was significantly correlated with high resistance rates of the isolates to antimicrobial agents, such as gentamicin, streptomycin, and spectinomycin. Moreover, the four SGI1-bearing isolates showed the same REP-PCR patterns and that suggested both horizontal and clonal spread of the isolates. This study is the first attempt to determine SGI1s in P. mirabilis isolates in Korea. We confirmed that P. mirabilis isolates carrying SGI1-PmABB were distributed at poultry farms in Korea. The present study emphasizes the need for continuous monitoring of SGI1s to prevent spreading of the MDR genomic islands among P. mirabilis isolates from humans and animals.
탄소섬유쉬트를 이용한 RC중공슬래브의 보강효과에 관한 연구

The voided slab have many advantages, light weight, high load-distribution capacity, low cost and beautiful appearance, etc. But, they have also many cracks due to difficulties in designs and construction, analysis, shrinkage, installation and rising force of voided tube. This paper presents the retrofit effects with CFS of RC voided slab. As a results of this study, it proved that the strip pattern has to be profitable than full-face pattern in performance such as crack, ultimate loads, stifness and, and retrofit length is desirable to extent beyond 0.7L. Also, it proved that the retrofit on full-section has to be profitable than voided-section in performance, and the kinds of end block has not influence on retrofit effects. The overlay length of CFS is desirable to extent approximately.
