        Intermetallic compound of ?? with B8₂ type structure has been studied in the range 40˚-393˚K using the Mossbauer effect. Spectrum shows the complicated reson ance lines corresponding to the two magnetically inequivalent Fe site. At 40˚K the following hyperfine structure parameter have been obtained H.S(2(a) site)=210KOe. H.S(2(d)site)=140KOe. I.S(2(a) site)=0.208mm/sec. I.S(2(d) site)=0.170mm/sec. It show that the ?? occupied in 2(a) site and ?? in 2(d) site and the magnetic moment of Fe in 2(a) site is larger than the 2(d) site.

        This study has been performed in two inbred stains of adult rats, Spraque-Dawley as recipient and Lewis as donor, weighing around 200gm. Lewis possess the RT11 haplotype and Spraque-Dawley(RT1a) differs from Lewis at the major histo-compatibility locus. Skin allografts were placed twenty-one days after fresh and frozen bone allografts. The results were obtained as follows: Skin grafts of control group had a survival time of 7.3±1.60 days. Skin allografts after frozen bone allografts had a survival thom of 12.4±0.99 days, which was significantly longer than the mean survival thme of 7.3±1.60 days in control group. Immunologic enhancement was noticed after frozen bone allografts which had histocompatibility antigen.

        장기 이식 환자에서 Voriconazole 과 Cyclosporine 또는 Tacrolimus의 상호작용

        Abstract: In organ transplant patients, the opportunity of fungi infections such as invasive aspergillosis increase by use of immunosuppresant drugs and voriconazole is recommended as primary treatment drug. When voriconazole is administered with cyclosporine(CsA) or tacrolimus(FK506), caution about increment of blood CsA or FK506 concentrations that caused by the change of CYP3A4 activity is required but few domestic cases of interaction were reported yet, The purpose of this study was to assess the effect of voriconazole on the blood CsA or FK506 concentrations in transplant recipients and the factors of recipients that have an effect on the results. 25 transplant recipients who were administered voriconazole with CsA or FK506 from January 1 of 2006 to August 17 of 2008 in Asan Medical Center were objects (12 patients on CsA coadministration arm - 9 males, 3 females; 41~62years;2 liver, 2 kidney, 3 bone marrow, 5 heart transplant recipients, and 13 on FK506 coadministration arm - 7 males, 6 females;26~65years; 10 liver, 2 kidney, 1 heart transplant recipients). Blood CsA or FK506 concentrations before and after coadministration of voriconazole, and maximum concentration in one month from the first day of coadministration were monitored retrospectively. In most cases CsA or FK506 were administered as recommended doses regardless of coadministration of voriconazole, and blood concentration increased from 239.42±126. 77ng/ml to maximum 411.92±225. 76ng/ml in CsA coadministration arm(p=0.003), and from 7.72±2.79ng/ml to maximum 19.16±9.35ng/ml in FK506 coadministration arm(p=0.003). Gender, age, and the kind of transplant organ did not affect to the change of blood concentration in both two arms. In consequences, administration of voriconazole could affect on the blood CsA or FK506 concentration, and in cases of administra tion of voriconazole in transplant recipients treated with CsA or FK506, close monitoring and dose adjustment is needed.

        이 연구에서는 ICT 활용이 다른 어떤 교과보다도 과학교과의 교수-학습을 촉진시키는데 다양한 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 탐구영역 별로 확인하고, ICT 활용 내용 분석 모형을 제안하였다. 과학수업에서 ICT를 수업전략과 연계시킬 때, 본문에서 제시한 ICT 활용 내용 분석 모형 기준을 적용하면 도움을 받을 수 있을 것이다. 또한 분석 모형 기준을 적용할 때. 연구자가 조사한 물리개념을 중심으로 한 인터넷 사이트를 적절히 구조화시켜 융합시키면 과학탐구활동을 촉진시킬 수 있을 것이다. 과학교사가 이러한 분석모형적용을 숙달시킴으로써 과학 교수-학습에서 ICT 활용이 언제 효과적이고, 효과적이지 않은지 또는 유익한지 유익하지 않은지 판단할 수 있을 것이다.

        국내에서 발생하고 있는 사람 브루셀라증의 임상적 특성

        배경 : 2002년 내국인에서의 첫 사람 브루셀라증의 증례 보고 이후 국내에서 사람 브루셀라증이 빠른 증가를 보이고 있다. 이에 연구자들은 국내에서 발생하는 브루셀라증의 임상적 특성을 연구하고자 하였다. 방법 : 2003년부터 2006년 7월까지 7개 대학병원에 내원한 환자들을 대상으로 WHO의 진단기준에 의하여 확진된 브루셀라증 환자들의 의무기록을 후향적으로 조사분석 하였다. 배양된 균은 삼성서울병원에 의뢰하여 16S rRNA 유전자 분석방법을 이용하여 종을 확인하였고, 표준시험관응집검사는 국립보건원에 의뢰하여 시행하였다. 결과 : 34예의 환자들이 브루셀라증으로 확진되었고, 31명이 남자였다. 혈액에서 B. abortus가 증명된 경우가 8예, 표준시험관 응집검사상 의미 있는 항체가 상승을 보인경우가 26예이었다. 환자들은 대부분 축산업관련 종사자였고, 추후 브루셀라증으로 확진된 소와의 직접 접촉을 통해 감염된 것으로 여겨진다. 국내 사람 브루셀라증의 가장 흔한 증상은 발열이었고, 위장관계 합병증이 가장 흔히 동반되었다. 치료로는 doxycycline/rifampicin이 24예의 환자에서 doxycycline/aminoglycoside (streptomycin 혹은 gentamicin)이 10예의 환자에서 6주 이상의 기간 동안 투여되었다. 치료에 반응을 보이지 않는 환자는 없었고, 재발이 1예 있었다. 결론 : 국내에서 발생하는 사람 브루셀라증의 원인균으로 현재까지 분리 동정된 것은 B. abortus이며, 소 브루셀라증의 증가로 인해 인체감염사례가 함께 증가하는 것으로 사료된다. 위험 직업군 종사자들에서 감염된 소와의 직접 접촉을 통해 주로 발생하고 있는 브루셀라증의 임상종상은 국외에서 발생하는 경우와 유사한 양상을 보이고 있으며 치료에 대한 반응은 비교적 좋은 편이긴 하나, 추후 보다 많은 환자들을 대상으로 한 연구가 필요하리라 사료된다. 사람 브루셀라증의 조절을 위해서는 소 브루셀라증의 조절이 필수적이며, 브루셀라증의 조절에 성공한 선진국의 사례를 적극적으로 도입해야 할 것으로 생각된다. Background : Since the first Korean case of human brucellosis was reported in 2002, the incidence of human brucellosis has been rapidly increasing. We performed this study to evaluate the clinical characteristics of human brucellosis occurring in South Korea. Materials and Methods : Demographic features, clinical manifestations, and therapeutic outcomes of cases confirmed as brucellosis according to WHO diagnostic criteria were evaluated. Species of Brucella isolates were identified with 16S rRNA gene sequencing method. Serologic diagnosis was performed with standard tube agglutination test (STA). Results : A total of 34 cases were enrolled from 2003 to 2006 in six hospitals. Eight cases were confirmed with the isolation of Brucella from blood and 26 cases were confirmed with titer of antibodies ≥1:160 by STA. Male (31) was predominant and most of the patients were cattle farmers. The most common transmission route was direct contact with infected or their cattle byproducts. Fever was the most prominent symptom and fatigue followed. Gastrointestinal and musculoskeletal systems were commonly complicated. Patients were treated with doxycycline and rifampin or aminoglycosides for more than 6 weeks. All patients responded well to the therapeutic regimens, but one patient relapsed 10 months after treatment. Conclusion : Brucellosis occurring in Korea has been caused by B. abortus, whose preferred natural host animals are cattle. Korean patients were infected through direct contact with bovine brucellosis. Clinical manifestations of brucellosis were similar to those occurring worldwide. Therapeutic outcomes were good among patients with brucellosis in Korea. In order to prevent human brucellosis, measures to eradicate bovine brucellosis should precede.

      • Vision-Based Corridor Path Search of a Mobile Robot

        In this paper, We made an algorithm for a mobile robot to determine direction normal to the wall with two cameras in an indoor environment without any direction-notification marks. Furthermore, with this direction determination ability, made a method with which a mobile robot can navigate and search through an indoor corridor path without any predefined map information is made. the direction determination scheme uses Hough transform and horizontal line search. While the path search algorithm uses SIFT(Scale-Invariant Feature Transformation), 3D reconstruction and binary search tree algorithm. In the direction determination stage, the mobile robot detects lines in the image and detects horizontal lines to determine the normal to the wall direction. After the direction determination stage is completed, the robot determines the corridor path range through SIFT, RANSAC algorithm, and 3D reconstruction, and finally navigates through its pathway. The direction determination and navigation stage constitutes the binary search tree algorithm. After searching through all its pathway in the indoor environment, the robot returns to its original position with various corridor position information.

        <P>A gadolinium complex of 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7-trisacetic acid (DO3A) and benzothiazole-aniline (BTA) of the type [Gd(DO3A-BTA)(H<SUB>2</SUB>O)] has been prepared for use as a single molecule theranostic agent. The kinetic inertness and <I>r</I><SUB>1</SUB> relaxivity (= 3.84 mM<SUP>–1</SUP> s<SUP>–1</SUP>) of the complex compare well with those of structurally analogous Gd-DOTA. The same complex is not only tumor-specific but also intracellular, enhancing MR images of cytosols and nuclei of tumor cells such as MCF-7, MDA-MB-231, and SK-HEP-1. Both DO3A-BTA and Gd(DO3A-BTA) reveal antiproliferative activities as demonstrated by GI<SUB>50</SUB> and TGI values obtainable from the cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assays performed on these cell lines.         The 2017 Korean National Growth Charts for children and adolescents: development, improvement, and prospects

        Growth charts are curves or tables that facilitate the visualization of anthropometric parameters, and are widely used as an important indicator when evaluating the growth status of children and adolescents. The latest version of the Korean National Growth Charts released in 2007 has raised concerns regarding the inclusion of data from both breastfed and formula-fed infants, higher body mass index (BMI) values in boys, and smaller 3rd percentile values in height-for-age charts. Thus, new growth charts have been developed to improve the previous version. The 2006 World Health Organization Child Growth Standards, regarded as the standard for breastfed infants and children, were introduced for children aged 0-35 months. For children and adolescents aged 3-18 years, these new growth charts include height-for-age, weight-for-age, BMI-for-age, weight-for-height, and head circumference-for-age charts, and were developed using data obtained in 1997 and 2005. Data sets and exclusion criteria were applied differently for the development of the different growth charts. BMI-for-age charts were adjusted to decrease the 95th percentile values of BMI. Criteria for obesity were simplified and defined as a BMI of ${\geq}95th$ percentile for age and sex. The 3rd percentile values for height-for-age charts were also increased. Additional percentile lines (1st and 99th) and growth charts with standard deviation lines were introduced. 2017 Korean National Growth Charts are recommended for the evaluation of body size and growth of Korean children and adolescents for use in clinics and the public health sector in Korea.

        The effect of CYP2C19 genotype on the time course of platelet aggregation inhibition after clopidogrel administration.

        <P>We evaluated the effect of CYP2C19 genotype over time on the antiplatelet response of clopidogrel in healthy subjects. Seventy subjects enrolled for a pharmacodynamic study and 22 subjects for a pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic study took 300?mg clopidogrel on the first day and 75?mg once daily for six consecutive days. The subjects with CYP2C19 poor metabolizers (PM, N?=?22) and intermediate metabolizers (IM, N?=?37) had significantly delayed time to inhibition of platelet aggregation (IPA) compared with CYP2C19 extensive metabolizers (EM, N?=?33) (12 vs. 9 vs. 2?hours as median Tmax , P?<?.05) after a 300?mg of clopidogrel. During maintenance doses of clopidogrel, IPA values of only CYP2C19 PM subjects were gradually decreased from 30.0??21.9% on day 2 to 23.7??16.6% on day 8 (P?>?.05 for time effect; P?<?.05 for time and genotype interaction effect). CYP2C19 PM had decreased Cmax and AUC of thiol metabolite compared with CYP2C19 EM (0.42- and 0.37-fold on day 1, P?<?.01; 0.39- and 0.34-fold on day 7, P?<?.01, respectively). Delayed time to reach maximal IPA as well as decreased IPA may influence the increased risk of the acute cardiac events in CYP2C19 PM and IM.</P>
