        Moderating effect of regulatory focus on public acceptance of nuclear energy

        Public acceptance has become the most critical question for sustainable development of nuclear energy in recent decades. Many researches concentrated on risk and benefit perception, which were deemed as the most influential factors of Public Acceptance of Nuclear Energy (PANE). But few researches focused on psychological factors including regulatory focus. Therefore, this paper aimed to explore the moderating effect of regulatory focus on PANE based on Regulatory Focus Theory in order to find ways to increase/decrease PANE. An Internet-based survey had been carried out in China nationwide. The results indicated that trust in government was positively related to PANE and this relationship was mediated by risk and benefit perception. In addition, the strength of the associations between risk and benefit perception and PANE were moderated by regulatory focus, consisting of prevention focus and promotion focus. Pre-vention focus strengthened the negative relationship between risk perception and PANE, while pro-motion focus weakened. Moreover, promotion focus weakened the positive relationship between benefit perception and PANE, but no significant moderating effect of prevention focus was founded on the relationship between benefit perception and PANE. Some policy implications were also proposed on the basis of above-mentioned findings.

      • Hydrobiology of a flooding ecosystem. Lake Chenhu in Hanyang, Hubei, with preliminary estimation of its potential fisher production capacity

        For the purpose of fishery development, a hydrobiological investigation of Lake Chenhu was carried out in 1983 with reference to the productivity of various food organisms as well as fish. Of the entire lake, the annual net primary production was determined to be 27,818 x 10? kcal for wet land vegetation. The annual secondary production chiefly from gastroposd was 2,632 x 10?kcal. On the basis of 1981-1982 fishery data, the production of the main stocked fishes in the lake was also roughly computed. Analysing all obtained production data. we find the energy conversion rate of food organisms to fish in the water at the present stage is fairly low. Even in 1982, the year of beller fishery management, food energy converted to plankton feeders or herbivores was only 1.6-1.8%: energy converted to fish yield was even lower, only 0.2-0.8%. To get a potential fish output of the ecosystem, a lentative estimation of fishery capacity of Lake Chenbu was made by uning the index of fond quotionts and relevant conversion factors. The theoretical fish production in the lake is estimated to be around 6,000 and through the improvement of fishery management and annual fish yield of 2,000 can be experted.

        중국 스포츠철학의 현황 및 발전방안 모색

        인류가 21세기에 들어선 후로부터 스포츠는 점차 기존 사회생활의 변두리로부터 사람들의 주류 시야에 들어오기 시작하였다. 중국도 “동아병부(東亞病夫)”라는 풍자의 의미가 가득한 칭호를 버릴 수 있게 되면서 세계가 공인하는 스포츠강국으로 변신하게 되었다. 스포츠의 정치, 경제, 문화, 교육, 보건 등 복잡한 기능을 아우르는 특수 문화현상의 역할 및 영향력은 분명하다. 우리가 이러한 특수 문화현상을 심도 있게 이해하려면 반드시 스포츠철학이란 학문분야에 대한 제대로 된 인식과 발전을 강화하여야 한다. 이에 현재까지의 중국의 역사를 시대 구분하여 스포츠문화현상을 비교, 분석을 통하여 그 속에 내포 되어 있는 스포츠철학사상을 찾아내고자 하였다. 또한 중국의 스포츠철학사상의 기원을 탐구하고 스포츠철학 학문분야에 대하여 신 중국에서의 발전과정을 정리하여 스포츠철학의 현황 및 문제점을 고찰함으로써 중국 스포츠철학의 발전에 방향을 제시하고자 한다. Since the human into the 21st century, sport has gradually from the edge of the original social life into the people’s mainstream vision. China also lost the “East Asia sick man” this ironic full title, into the world recognized sport power. The role and influence of sport as a special cultural phenomenon in the complex functions of politics, economy, culture, education, health care and so on is obvious. If we want to understand this particular cultural phenomenon in depth, we must strengthen the understanding and development of the discipline of sport philosophy. By analyzing the phenomenon of sport culture in different historical periods in China, this paper tries to find out the origin of sport philosophy thought in the ancient Chinese language. We hope that by combing the history of sport philosophy in the development of new China, Philosophy of the status quo and problems for the development of Chinese sport philosophy to provide better advice.

        Cross Layer Optimal Design with Guaranteed Reliability under Rayleigh block fading channels

        Configuring optimization of wireless sensor networks, which can improve the network performance such as utilization efficiency and network lifetime with minimal energy, has received considerable attention in recent years. In this paper, a cross layer optimal approach is proposed for multi-source linear network and grid network under Rayleigh block-fading channels, which not only achieves an optimal utility but also guarantees the end-to-end reliability. Specifically, in this paper, we first strictly present the optimization method for optimal nodal number N*, nodal placement d* and nodal transmission structure p* under constraints of minimum total energy consumption and minimum unit data transmitting energy consumption. Then, based on the facts that nodal energy consumption is higher for those nodes near the sink and those nodes far from the sink may have remaining energy, a cross layer optimal design is proposed to achieve balanced network energy consumption. The design adopts lower reliability requirement and shorter transmission distance for nodes near the sink, and adopts higher reliability requirement and farther transmission distance for nodes far from the sink, the solvability conditions is given as well. In the end, both the theoretical analysis and experimental results for performance evaluation show that the optimal design indeed can improve the network lifetime by 20-50%, network utility by 20% and guarantee desire level of reliability.

        Nanotherapeutics with immunoregulatory functions for the treatment of bacterial infection

        The advent of drug-resistant pathogens results in the occurrence of stubborn bacterial infections that cannot betreated with traditional antibiotics. Antibacterial immunotherapy by reviving or activating the body’s immune systemto eliminate pathogenic bacteria has confrmed promising therapeutic strategies in controlling bacterial infections. Subsequent studies found that antimicrobial immunotherapy has its own benefts and limitations, such as avoidingrecurrence of infection and autoimmunity-induced side efects. Current studies indicate that the various antibacterialtherapeutic strategies inducing immune regulation can achieve superior therapeutic efcacy compared with mono therapy alone. Therefore, summarizing the recent advances in nanomedicine with immunomodulatory functionsfor combating bacterial infections is necessary. Herein, we briefy introduce the crisis caused by drug-resistantbacteria and the opportunity for antibacterial immunotherapy. Then, immune-involved multimodal antibacterialtherapy for the treatment of infectious diseases was systematically summarized. Finally, the prospects and challengesof immune-involved combinational therapy are discussed.
