        Joint Relay Selection and Resource Allocation for Delay-Sensitive Traffic in Multi-Hop Relay Networks

        In this paper, we investigate traffic scheduling for a delay-sensitive multi-hop relay network, and aim to minimize the priority-based end-to-end delay of different data packet via joint relay selection, subcarrier assignment, and power allocation. We first derive the priority-based end-to-end delay based on queueing theory, and then propose a two-step method to decompose the original optimization problem into two sub-problems. For the joint subcarrier assignment and power control problem, we utilize an efficient particle swarm optimization method to solve it. For the relay selection problem, we prove its convexity and use the standard Lagrange method to deal with it. The joint relay selection, subcarriers assignment and transmission power allocation problem for each hop can also be solved by an exhaustive search over a finite set defined by the relay sensor set and available subcarrier set. Simulation results show that both the proposed routing scheme and the resource allocation scheme can reduce the average end-to-end delay.

        Combination of Tumor Volume and Epstein-Barr Virus DNA Improved Prognostic Stratification of Stage II Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma in the Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy Era: A Large-Scale Cohort Study

        Purpose Little is known about combination of the circulating Epstein-Barr viral (EBV) DNA and tumor volume in prognosis of stage II nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) patients in the intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) era. We conducted this cohort study to evaluate the prognostic values of combining these two factors. Materials and Methods By Kaplan-Meier, we compare the differences of survival curves between 385 patients with different EBV DNA or tumor volume levels, or with the combination of two biomarkers mentioned above. Results Gross tumor volume of cervical lymph nodes (GTVnd, p < 0.001) and total tumor volume (GTVtotal, p < 0.001) were both closely related to pretreatment EBV DNA, while gross tumor volume of nasopharynx (GTVnx, p=0.047) was weakly related to EBV DNA. EBV DNA was significantly correlated with progress-free survival (PFS, p=0.005), locoregional-free survival (LRFS, p=0.039), and distant metastasis-free survival (DMFS, p=0.017), while GTVtotal, regardless of GTVnx and GTVnd, had a significant correlation with PFS and LRFS. The p-values of GTVtotal for PFS and LRFS were 0.008 and 0.001, respectively. According to GTVtotal and pretreatment EBV DNA level, patients were divided into a low-risk group (EBV DNA 0 copy/mL, GTVtotal < 30 cm3; EBV DNA 0 copy/mL, GTVtotal  30 cm3; or EBV DNA > 0 copy/mL, GTVtotal < 30 cm3) and a high-risk group (EBV DNA > 0 copy/mL, GTVtotal  30 cm3). When patients in the low-risk group were compared with those in the high-risk group, 3-year PFS (p=0.003), LRFS (p=0.010), and DMFS (p=0.031) rates were statistically significant. Conclusion Pretreatment plasma EBV DNA and tumor volume were both closely correlated with prognosis of stage II NPC patients in the IMRT era. Combination of EBV DNA and tumor volume can refine prognosis and indicate for clinical therapy.

        Korean enterprises attempt to enter the China distribution market as a promising future industry. Especially, with the entry into the WTO system, China opened its distribution market to foreign companies, which gave new opportunity for them. In China, distribution industry is in the beginning state but China has a great potentiality in the distribution industry. Not only foreign enterprises but also local enterprises in China expands outsourcing system for the efficiency of distribution service. To meet this trend, Korea must make a promotion plans to the Chinese distribution market as follows : First, Korean distribution enterprises attempting to the China market have prior research for the market. In addition to this, the enterprises should get through knowledge for the market and the area. Second, the enterprises should systematically analyze and understand the legal procedures, legal systems and the market policies relating to the distribution system. Third, to get hegemony in the huge distribution market of China Korean enterprise should strategically expand their scale for competing the global huge enterprises other countries It in also necessary to make systems for the cooperation with the local enterprises of other countries. Fourth, Korean enterprises should set up the differentiated competitive power by using the advanced IT and distribution service. Fifth, Korean goverment build the cooperation systems between Korea and China for setting up the long-term development strategics between them.

        A case study of large phytoplankton blooms off the New Jersey coast with multi-sensor observations

        Taking the 2011 summer bloom as a study case, we investigated the transport and nutrient delivery mechanisms for large phytoplankton blooms of the New Jersey coast. The horizontal advection of the chlorophyll is approximately one order larger than the horizontal diffusion averaging the whole study area. And the sea surface currents are found to correlate with the wind stress but only for part of the middle shelf. Based on the horizontal advection simulation driven by HF radar current, the bloom is divided into three sub-regions. The northern coastal section of the bloom shows high-low-high pattern in chlorophyll time series, which is related to coastal upwelling and a clockwise eddy. Coastal currents play an important role in the eddy formation and the southward transport of the bloom. The southern coastal section of the bloom is supported by the nutrients from coastal upwelling and driven offshore by wind. The northeast section of the bloom is fueled by nutrient source upwelled through Ekman pumping. The magnitude of Ekman pumping is of the same order as the magnitude of the upwelling along the coast. These identified mechanisms could also applied to more than half of bloom events during 2002 to 2013. In the summer of 2011 off the coast of New Jersey, processes in different sub-regions worked together, leading to this large phytoplankton bloom.

        检察视野下涉案困境未成年人多元化救助问题研究

        未成年人因刑事案件的发生而权益受到损害,陷入生存、健康、教育、发展等方面 困境的情况时有发生,在新《未成年人保护法》实施背景之下,司法救助亟需与社会救 助进行有效衔接,共同构建涉案困境未成年人多元化救助大格局。通过对检察机关办 理的涉案困境未成年人多元化救助案例进行实证考察,分析此类案件的共同特征及实 践中存在的救助范围过窄、救助需求不匹配、救助管辖冲突、救助主体衔接不畅等问 题,提出拓宽涉案未成年人司法救助范围,强化特殊优先保护意识、促进区域内多方 救助主体有效衔接及加强跨区域救助工作沟通协调等对策,以期提升涉案困境未成年 人多元化救助效果。 It is common that rights and interests of minors involved in a criminal case are damaged, leading them into a dilemma of survival, health, education and personal development. With the latest Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Minors, judicial relief and social relief are forming an effective alignment and jointly building a diversified relief for the minors involved in a criminal case in general. By examining the diversified relief offered for minors by procurtorial organs, analyzing common traits in cases, studying the issues of the relief program including limited scope, unsuited matching, jurisdiction conflict, poor connection with the subjects, promoting expanded relief for the minors, strengthening priority protection awareness, enhancing cross-region communication and coordination, we are aiming to improve the diversified relief effect for minors in such dilemma.

        Implementation and benchmarking of the local weight window generation function for OpenMC

        OpenMC is a community-driven open-source Monte Carlo neutron and photon transport simulation code. The Weight Window Mesh (WWM) function and an automatic Global Variance Reduction (GVR) method was recently developed and implemented in a developmental branch of OpenMC. This WWM function and GVR method broaden OpenMC's usage in general purposes deep penetration shielding calculations. However, the Local Variance Reduction (LVR) method, which suits the source-detector problem, is still missing in OpenMC. In this work, the Weight Window Generator (WWG) function has been developed and benchmarked for the same branch. This WWG function allows OpenMC to generate the WWM for the source-detector problem on its own. Single-material cases with varying shielding and sources were used to benchmark the WWG function and investigate how to set up the particle histories utilized in WWG-run and WWM-run. Results show that there is a maximum improvement of WWM generated by WWG. Based on the above results, instructions on determining the particle histories utilized in WWG-run and WWM-run for optimal computation efficiency are given and tested with a few multi-material cases. These benchmarks demonstrate the ability of the OpenMC WWG function and the above instructions for the source-detector problem. This developmental branch will be released and merged into the main distribution in the future

        Behavioral Responses of Pregnant Women to the Early Stage of COVID-19 Pandemic in the Network Era in China: Online Questionnaire Study

        Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the behavioral responses of pregnant women during the early stage of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak. Methods: We recruited 1,099 women to complete an online questionnaire survey from February 10 to February 25, 2020. The subjects were divided into two groups (the pregnant women group and the control group). Results: Concerns about infection: most of the participants watched the COVID-19 news at least once a day. Protective behaviors: the utilization rate of pregnant women (often using various measures) was higher than that of nonpregnant women. Exercise: 30.6% of the pregnant women continued to exercise at home, whereas in the control group, this percentage was 8.4%. Spouse relationship: 38.8% of the subjects’ relationship improved, whereas only 2.3% thought the relationship was getting worse. Conclusion: Pregnant women had some unique behavioral responses different from that of nonpregnant women. It is important to understand the behavioral responses of pregnant women in this network era.

        Facile Self-Assembly of Fe3O4 Nanoparticles@WS2 Nanosheets: A Promising Candidate for Supercapacitor Electrode

        Graphene-like dichalcogenides with huge surface area and nanostructuredtransition metal oxides with extraordinarily high theoretical capacities could becomposited as promising electrode candidates for supercapacitors. In this work,monolayer and few-layers WS2 nanosheets were exfoliated by combination ofball-milling and sonication. A facile strategy for the hierarchical self-assembly ofFe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4NPs) on WS2 nanosheets was developed to synthesizeFe3O4NPs@WS2 nanocomposites via hydrothermal method. Fe3O4NPs areuniformly dispersed on the WS2 nanosheets without aggregation. The particlesize of Fe3O4NPs is about 3 nm. The nanocomposite shows strong enhancementsof electrochemical behaviors. This self-assembly synthesis strategy may havegreat prospects for other 0D/2D nanocomposites in supercapacitors and otherenergy devices.

        Robust Unit Commitment with Virtual Synchronous Renewables

        With the increasing penetration of renewable energy sources and the consequent displacement of synchronous generators, the frequency stability of power systems deteriorates since RESs cannot participate in active power and frequency control. By emulating the outer characteristics of SGs and deloading a controllable margin, RESs can also keep headroom and provide frequency responses. This paper focuses on incorporating virtual synchronous renewables into the unit commitment to optimize the joint scheduling of energy production and spinning reserves. First, based on the interval representation of renewable uncertainty, the renewable output is decomposed into the stochastic and dispatchable portions. The dispatchable portion, defi ned as VSRs, can keep deterministic regulation headroom and participate in power balance regulation. Second, a robust security-constrained unit commitment model is proposed to achieve optimal scheduling in face of multiple uncertainties. The fl exibility of the pumped-storage hydro station is also considered. Third, the solution strategies which linearize the nonlinear terms in the objective function and constraints are introduced. Finally, the correctness and eff ectiveness of the robust unit commitment model are tested and verifi ed in the modifi ed 39-bus system.
