This study calculated the optimal sampling interval of suspended sediment on storm in terms of Kalman filter method after collected data the discharge and suspended sediment of Museong place, the downstream of the Wi stream basin that is one of the IHP representative basin the Nakdong river water systems. We'll have to study more specifically about the various elements closely related to the discharge with the reasonable and correct standard of the error variance in the future and we finds out the suspended sediment optimal sampling intervals in other basins it will be applied by the characteristic of them.

The aim of the present study was to investigate the expression of the transcription factor Ki-67, ER, PR, Her2/neu, p21, EGFR, and TOP II-${\alpha}$ in the tumor tissue of patients with invasive ductal carcinoma(IDC); in addition, we examined correlations between these markers. Two hundred and sixteen IDC patients, who were not previously been treated with chemo- or radiotherapy, were included in the study. All tumors were grade I-III. Expression of molecular markers was determined by immunohistochemical analysis on paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Follow-up data were collected for 3 months to 10 years and analyzed for tumor recurrence, survival time, and prognostic risk factors. We determined Ki-67 expression correlates with the expression of ER, PR, HER-2, EGFR, and TOP-${\alpha}$, as well as lymph node involvement, high tumor grade, lymphovascular invasion, high tumor stage, and high TNM stage in IDC. Positive Ki-67 expression was a risk factor for rapid tumor recurrence and may help tumor progression, leading to poor prognosis in IDC. Ki-67 was directly correlated with EGFR, TOP II-${\alpha}$, lymph node involvement, high tumor grade, lymphovascular invasion, high tumor stage, and high TNM stage in the hormone receptor subtypes of breast cancer. In triple negative breast cancer, Ki-67 correlated with TOP II-${\alpha}$. Expression of Ki-67 correlated with that of ER, PR, HER-2, EGFR, TOP II-${\alpha}$, and p21. In addition, the biomarker Ki-67 has a role as a prognostic factor and indicates a poor prognosis in IDC.
Bridging therapies to liver transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma: A bridge to nowhere?

Backgrounds/Aims: Liver Transplantation (LT) is a recognized treatment for Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC). The role of Bridging Therapies (BT) remains controversial. Methods: From January 2001 to October 2012, 192 patients were referred to the National University Hospital, Singapore for consideration of LT for HCC. Sixty-five patients (33.8%) were found suitable for transplant and were placed on the waitlist. Analysis was performed in these patients. Results: The most common etiology of HCC was Hepatitis B (n=28, 43.1%). Thirty-six patients (55.4%) received BT. Seventeen patients (47.2%) received TACE only, while 10 patients (27.8%) received radiofrequency ablation (RFA) only. The remaining patients received a combination of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) and RFA. Baseline tumor and patient characteristics were comparable between the two groups. The overall dropout rate was 44.4% and 31.0% in the BT and non-BT groups, respectively (p=0.269). The dropout rate due to disease progression beyond criteria was 6.9% (n=2) in the non-bridged group and 22.2% (n=8) in the bridged group (p=0.089). Thirty-nine patients (60%) underwent LT, of which all patients who underwent Living Donor LT did not receive BT (n=4, 21.1%, p=0.030). The median time to LT was 180 days (range, 20-558 days) in the non-BT group and 291 days (range, 17-844 days) in the BT group (p=0.214). There was no difference in survival or recurrence between the BT and non-BT groups (p=0.862). Conclusions: BT does not influence the dropout rate or survival after LT but it should be considered in patients who are on the waitlist for more than 6 months.
Synthesis and Viscoelastic Behavior of Non-Stoichiometric Spinel Ferrite Particle Suspension

<P>Magnetorheological (MR) fluid with tunable and reversible phase transition is one of the most promising smart materials for engineering applications. In this paper, to improve the MR performance of ferrites, non-stoichiometric Zn-doped spinel ferrite (Zn<SUB>0.417</SUB>Fe<SUB>2.583</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB>) nanoparticles with a high saturation magnetization and a truncated octahedron-like shape were synthesized using a thermal decomposition process. The crystallographic structure was analyzed using X-ray diffraction and field emission transmission electron microscope image. The Zn<SUB>0.417</SUB>Fe<SUB>2.583</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> had a high saturation magnetization value of 101 <TEX>$\text {A}\cdot \text {m}^{2}$</TEX>/kg at 933 kA/m, showing higher saturation magnetization than other ferrites. The MR characteristics of the Zn<SUB>0.417</SUB>Fe<SUB>2.583</SUB>O<SUB>4</SUB> particles suspended in silicone oil were studied using a rotation rheometer under various magnetic field strengths. This MR fluid exhibited typical MR characteristics, and its flow curves were fit well with the Herschel–Bulkley model.</P>

Background We aimed to investigate use of infection control behaviours, preventative and therapeutic interventions, and outcomes among respondents to an online survey during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. Methods The survey was designed by an international team, translated and adapted to simplified Chinese, including 132 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparation recommended by guidelines. It was distributed and collected from February to May 2021, with data analysed by WPS spreadsheet and wjx.cn. Descriptive statistics were used to describe demographics and clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatments, preventative behaviours and interventions, and their associated outcomes. Results The survey was accessed 503 times with 341 (67.8%) completions covering 23 provinces and four municipalities in China. Most (282/341, 82.7%) respondents reported no symptoms during the pandemic and the majority (290/341, 85.0%) reported having a SARS-CoV-2 PCR test at some point. Forty-five (13.2%) reported having a respiratory infection, among which 19 (42.2%) took one or more categories of modern medicine, e.g. painkillers, antibiotics; 16 (35.6%) used TCM interventions(s); while seven respondents combined TCM with modern medicine. All respondents reported using at least one behavioural or medical approach to prevention, with 22.3% taking TCM and 5.3% taking modern medicines. No respondents reported having a critical condition related to COVID-19. Conclusion We found evidence of widespread use of infection control behaviours, modern medicines and TCM for treatment and prevention of COVID-19 and other respiratory symptoms. Larger scale studies are warranted, including a more representative sample exploring TCM preparations recommended in clinical guidelines. DUCK's Science - 아플라톡신 B1 레벨이 오리의 생산성, 소화효소 활성 및 영양소 소화율에 미치는 영향

이번 연구는 아플라톡신 $B_1(AFB_2)$의 독성이 오리의 생산성, 체내 기관, 간 효소 활성도, 외관상 소화율, 영양소 소화율에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 1일령의 육용오리 90마리를 3개의 처리군으로 나눠 10마리씩 펜에서 사육하였다. 그룹1은 일반 사료를 급여하였고, 그룹 2와 3은 각각 아플라톡신 $20{\mu}g/kg$, $40{\mu}g/kg$이 포함된 오염된 쌀을 섞어 6주 동안 급여하였다. 그 결과 아플라톡신에 오염된 사료를 섭취한 그룹의 증체량과 사료 섭취량이 감소하였고, 사료요구률(feed to gain ratio), 간, 신장, 췌장의 무게가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 알라닌 아미노전이효소(ALT, serum alanine aminotransferase)와 혈중 아스파라진산 아미노전이효소(AST, aspartate aminotransferase)의 활성도도 아플라톡신 오염 그룹에서 유의성을 보이며 높았다. 아플라톡신 오염 그룹의 오리들의 십이지장에서 채취한 단백질 분해효소, 키모트립신, 트립신(이자액에서 분비되는 단백질 분해효소), 전분 가수 분해효소 등 소화효소의 활성도가 증가한 반면, 조단백질의 외관상 소화율은 유의성있게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 아플라톡신에 오염된 사료로가 오리의 생산성과 영양소의 외관상 소화율을 감소시키고 십이지장 내용물의 소화효소활성을 변화시킨다고 볼 수 있다.
