Background: Subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) is the most common thyroid dysfunction, and its relationship with blood pressure(BP) has been controversial. The aim of the study was to analyze the association between SCH and newly-diagnosed hypertension. Methods: Based on data from the Thyroid disease, Iodine nutrition and Diabetes Epidemiology (TIDE) study, 49,433 euthyroid individuals and 7,719 SCH patients aged ≥18 years were enrolled. Patients with a history of hypertension or thyroid disease were excluded. SCH was determined by manufacturer reference range. Overall hypertension and stage 1 and 2 hypertension were diagnosedaccording to the guidelines issued by the American College of Cardiology/American Heart Association in 2017. Results: The prevalence of overall hypertension (48.7%), including stage 1 (28.9%) and 2 (19.8%) hypertension, increased significantly in SCH patients compared with euthyroid subjects. With elevated serum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) level, the hypertension prevalence also increased significantly from the euthyroid to different SCH subgroups, which was more profound in femalesor subjects aged <65 years. The age- and sex-specific regression analysis further demonstrated the same trends in the general population and in the 1:1 propensity matched population. Similarly, several BP components (i.e., systolic, diastolic, and mean arterial BP)were positively associated with TSH elevation, and regression analysis also confirmed that all BP components were closely relatedwith SCH in female subjects aged <65 years. Conclusion: The prevalence of hypertension increases for patients with SCH. SCH tends to be associated with hypertension and BPcomponents in females younger than 65 years.
Online Cutting Temperature Measurement System Based Thermocouple
Wang zhengyu,Yu xiaoyang,Li guanghui,Tan guangyu 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Control and Automation Vol.7 No.10
In order to measure cutter temperature, the on-line thermocouple temperature measurement system was proposed. In this system, temperature sensing element thermocouple was welded in the flank face close to the cutting edge with double bare wires welding way. With this method, this system has advantages of a single point temperature measurement and no effect on cutter temperature distribution. For a higher sampling rate, two AD were used to sample alternately; and for the convenient signal transmission when the cutter is rotating at high speed, wireless transmission was adopted to transmit thermocouple output signal and cold side temperature signal to the host computer. After temperature compensation to the cold side, the compensated temperature will be real-time displayed, stored and played back. System measurement range is 0 ~ 1300 ° C, and the measurement uncertainty is 0.58%. For 8000rpm rotational speed of XH714D machine, experimental results show that the system can measure cutter temperature online, and has advantages of low cost and great practicability.

As the main metabolite of nitazoxanide, tizoxanide(TIZ) has a broad-spectrum anti-infective effect againstparasites, bacteria, and virus. In this study, we investigatedthe effects of TIZ on autophagy by regulating the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway. RAW264.7 macrophage cellswere treated with various TIZ concentrations. Cell viabilityassay, transmission electron microscope, and immunofluorescencestaining were used to detect the biological functionof the macrophage cells, and the expression levels of theautophagy pathway-related proteins were measured by Westernblot. Results revealed that TIZ promoted the conversionof LC3-I to LC3-II, the formation of autophagy vacuoles, and the degradation of SQSTM1/p62 in a concentration- andtime-dependent manner in RAW264.7 cells. Treatment withTIZ increased the Beclin-1 expression level and inhibitedPI3K, Akt, mTOR, and ULK1 activation. These effects wereenhanced by pretreatment with rapamycin but attenuated bypretreatment with LY294002. In addition, the conversion ofLC3-I to LC3-II was observed in Vero, 293T, and HepG2cells treated with TIZ. These data suggested that TIZ mayinduce autophagy by inhibiting the Akt/mTOR/ULK1 signalingpathway in macrophages and other cells.

The large-scale power system blackouts have indicated that conventional protection relays that based on local signals cannot fit for modern power grids with complicated setting or heavily loaded-flow transfer. In order to accurately detect various faulted lines and improve the fault-tolerance of wide-area protection, a novel multi-section weighed fault matching and detecting algorithm is proposed. The real protection vector (RPV) and expected section protection vectors (ESPVs) for five fault sections are constructed respectively. The function of multi-section weighed fault matching is established to calculate the section fault matching degrees between RPV and five ESPVs. Then the fault degree of protected line based on five section fault degrees can be obtained. Two fault detecting criterions are given to support the higher accuracy rate of detecting fault. With the enumerating method, the simulation tests illustrate the correctness and fault-tolerance of proposed algorithm. It can reach the target of 100% accuracy rate under 5 bits error of wide-area protections. The influence factors of fault-tolerance are analyzed, which include the choosing of wide-area protections, as well as the topological structures of power grid and fault threshold.

In order to establish the 3D Temperature Field based on structure light 3D measurement and cross-correlation registration. Infrared/Visible camera calibration method and heterologous images registration method were studied. First, according to infrared camera’s characteristics, the selection of calibration templates have been studied and the calibration of the infrared camera has been accomplished on the basis of planar calibration method; then, we simplified the two-step method based on the mature principle of structure light measurement; and the visible camera was calibrated; finally, use calibrated visible cameras to form structured light measurement system, and register the infrared image and visible image in the geometrical position. Experimental results show that: the relative error of measurement system is less than 0.3%;infrared and visible image’s alignment error in geometrical position is 0.0015 mm. and measurement systems have good reconstruction results for plane and curved ,and cross-correlation method has a good effect for heterrologous images registration.

In order to solve the contradiction between requirements of high sampling rate for acquiring accurate energy information of pulses and large amount of data to be processed timely, the method with an algorithm to correct errors caused by reducing the sampling rate is normally used in front-end read-out system, which is conductive to extract accurate energy information from digitized waveform of pulse. The functions and effects of algorithms, which mainly include polynomial fitting with different fitting times, double exponential function fitting under different sampling modes, and integral area algorithm, are analyzed and evaluated, and some meaningful results is presented in this paper. The algorithm described in the paper has been used preliminarily in a prototype system of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) for heavy-ion cancer therapy facility.
Static analysis of thin-walled flexible components in a harmonic reducer
Yazhen Wang,Yang Yu,Wuqiang Jiang,Xiaoyang Chen 대한기계학회 2023 JOURNAL OF MECHANICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY Vol.37 No.7
A harmonic reducer is a speed-changing device with thin-walled flexible components. Under the action of a cam wave generator, the flexible components generate controllable elastic deformation to actualize the transfer of motion and power. As two core thin-walled flexible components of the harmonic reducer, the outer ring of flexible bearing (FB) and flexspline (FS) will generate small and continuous deflection waves with the rotation of the wave generator. In this paper, an energy method mechanical model for the FS and the FB in the assembled state is established by theoretical analysis. The internal load distribution of the FB is obtained by solving this model, and the deformation of two flexible components is considered. The effect of the structural parameters of the FS on the load distribution and the strain energy is investigated. The conclusions provide guidance for the structural optimization design of a harmonic drive.
