        The purpose of the study was to undertaken to analysis the Grab starting technique between national representive team(3) and Cheju's representive team(3) with 3D cinematography. The conclusions obtained were as follows: Cheju's showed more elapsed time than national representive team on starting block. and more vertical than horizontal direction of COG position, more concentrated vertical velocity & acceleration than forward direction. Therefore It is necessory for cheju's to train balanced trust force in horizontal and vertical direction in grab starting technique.

      • 서울 남산 화강암의 풍화에 관한 환경광물학적 연구

        The weathering of Namsan granite of Seoul was studied by polarizing microscopy, X-ray fluoresence spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. The rock consists principally of quartz, feldspars and micas, together with very small amount of garnet, sillimanite, chlorite, sericite, muscovite, cordierite, zircon, and opaque minerals. Under the polarizing microscope, the weathering of the rock begins to breakdown of the feldspars into sericite and is then followed by alteration of quartz into micas. Decrease of amount of feldspars and quartz and increase of micas, with progress of weathering, are also confirmed by X-ray diffractogram. With advancing weathering, K₂O and Al₂O₃ markedly increased, while Na₂O, CaO, Fe₂O₃, TiO₂, and MnO₂ decreased. When water having penetrated into the rock through cracks and pore space developed between the minerals it becomes to react with minerals in contact resulting in strong alkaline or weak acidic solution. This kind of solution is interpreted to be a principal factor for the wathering of the rock.

        In the present study, a pre/post-processor for CFD program is developed and the CGNS library is used to exchange grid data between different CFD programs. The CGNS library is useful to store, retrieve and exchange CFD Data. It can be easily implemented in C, C++, Fortran77 and Fortran90 applications. The developed pre/post-processor is build with Visual C++ and can be run on Microsoft Windows platforms. OpenGL library is used to manipulate graphic view which consists of many vertices and cell data.

        적색 석류석 보석의 보석·광물학적 특징

        보석으로 사용되고 있는 파이로프-알만딘 계열의 보석을 대상으로 하여 이들의 화학성분, 결정구조, 굴절율, 비중, 색, 광택 등의 광물학적 성질을 알아보았다. 또한 위 고용체의 광물학적 성질이 화학성분의 치환 정도에 따라 점이적인 변화 양상이 나타났는지에 대해서도 연구하였고, 발색소에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 특별히 보석업계에서 관행적으로 분류 기준으로 삼아온 굴절율과 비중 값이 광물학적으로 오류가 없는 것인지를 검증하는 것 등도 주요 연구목적에 포함되었다. 적색 석류석 시료 중 화학성분은 따른 분류기준에 의하면 17개가 파이로프이며, 6개가 알만딘임을 알수 있다. 파이로프의 굴절율은 1.77까지이며, 알만딘은 그 이상임을 알 수 있으며, 비중은 파이로프인 경우 3.88까지의 범위이며, 파이로프는 적어도 4.11 이상임을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 보석업계에서 파이로프와 알만딘을 구분하여 온 굴절율 기준(R.1. 1.75)은 오류이며, 비중값 기준 (S.G. 3.88)은 무난한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 단결정 X-선회절분석 결과에 따르면, 파이로프-알만딘 석류석이 모두 등축정계의 Ia3d 공간군에 속하며, 화학성분의 변화에 따른 단위포의 크기는 변화를 느낄 정도의 차이는 없었다. 또한 굴절율과 비중은 파이로프-알만딘 고용체에 있어 특히 FeO 함량에 따라 일정한 변화양상을 나타내는데, FeO의 함량이 증가할수록 굴절율과 비중이 증가함을 알 수 있다. 화학분석 자료에 의하며, 적색 및 보라색은 Fe^(+2), 황색은 Mn^(+2) 함량에 따라 크게 좌우됨을 알 수 있다. 적색 석류석내에 들어있는 결정 내포물은 주로 저어콘과 금홍석이었다. Chemical composition, crystal structure, refractive index, specific gravity, color, and luster were studied for pyrope-almandine series garnets. The main coloring agents determining the reddish or brownish garnets were also investigated. It was also examined if there is any relationship between mineralogical properties with respect to the various chemical compositions in the solid solution, in the hope to figure out the existing classification values of R.I. and S.G. using gemtesting facilities to distinguish pyrope from almadine. It was found that 17 out of the 24 specimens belong to pyrope and the rest almandine. R.I. of pyrope goes up to 1.77 and that of almandine is higher than the value. S.G. of pyrope reaches to 3.88 and that of almandine is greater than the value of pyrope. X-ray diffraction data revealed that pyrope-almandine garnets are isometric with space group Ia3d , and also show that the variation of cell parameters are not significant enough to parallel with the chemical compositions of the series. R.I. and S.G. increase with FeO content. Fe and Mn are most responsible to the red-purple and orange coloration of the specimens, respectively. Both zircon and rutile crystals are most common inclusions in the reddish stones.

      • 프로스타글란딘 E₁ 마이크로에멀젼이 함유된 액상좌제의 제조 및 평가

        The purpose of this study is to develop a transurethral liquid suppository containing prostaglandin E_(1)(PGE_(1))-loaded microemulsion, which undergoes a phase transition to gels at body temperature. The effects of oils, ethanol as solvent and HCI as pH-controlling agent on the physicochemical properties of liquid suppositories composed of poloxamer P 407. P 188 and carbopol was investigated. The stability of PGE_(1) and release of PGE_(1) from liquid suppository were evaluated. Oils such as Neobee and soybean oil significantly decreased the gelation temperature but increased the gel strength of liquid suppository due to their strongly binding with the components of liquid suppository base. However, ethanol slightly did the opposite. The pH of liquid suppositories hardly affected the gelation temperature and gel strength due to addition of very small HCI(0.005-0.01%). A liquid suppository [PGE_(1)/P 407/P 188/carbopol/Neobee/ethanol/HCI(0.4/14/14/0.4/7/2/0.005%)], which had the gelation temperature (34.2±0.6℃) and gel strength (31.35±4.37 sec) suitable for liquid sup-pository system, was easily administered and not leak out from the body. About 60% of PGE_(1) was released out within 2h from this formulation. It was shown that the release of PGE_(1) was proportional to the square root of time, indicating that PGE_(1) might be released from the suppository by Fickian diffusion. It was stable at 4℃ for at least 2months. The results suggest that transurethral liquid suppository containing prostaglandin E_(1)-loaded microemulsion is thought to be a con-venient, safe and effective dosage form for PGE_(1). However, it should be further developed as a more convenient and stable dosage form for PGE_(1).

      • PLSI 위상차 제어기에 의한 초음파 모터의 점탄성 특성

        As an actuator for direct drive(DD) manipulator. the travelling-wave type ultrasonic motor(USM) has many excellent performances and good advantages over conventional servo motors such as compact size, light weight, silent motion, low rotation-speed, high torque, low magnetic noise, high speed response, flexible free forms, large holding torque and so on. So it has been expected to be used as servo motor. This paper presents a design method of USM controller to adjust the phase difference of USM power using PLSI (Programmable Large Scale Intersration). we can control the elastic coefficient and the viscous coefficient of the USM by adjusting the phase difference of the motor power. By controlling the elasticity and viscosity, a robot can work in compliance with external environment. To use the result, we will be able to control the robot to reach its goal with compliance motion. It remains for further research to develop the impedance control of USM and to make cooperative robots.

      • 텍타이트와 흑요석의 특징 및 성인 비교 : Their Characteristics and Origin

        During the past fifty years, the origin of natural glassy objects, called tektite, has long been a topic in the science community. In this study mineralogical and chemical data for tektites, collected from China, have been investigated. Obsidian, a very similar resemblance, has also been studied, in the hope to characterize it better and also to compare it with tektites. It is confirmed, on the basis of presently obtained data, that the Chinese teckites are believed to originate from terrestrial rocks melted by hypervelocity impacts of large and extraterrestrial objects. In contrast, obsidian is a volcanic glass of rhyolitic composition and is originated from magma during volcanic eruption.

      • 서울 남산의 절리 발달에 관한 연구

        Distribution and nature of geological fractures including joints and faults was investigated for the Mt. Namsan of Seoul. The mountain consists of banded gneiss of Precambrian age and biotite granite of Jurassic era. The gneiss is marked by well developed gneissosity of NNW-strike and NE-dip. The granite is medium to coarse- grained in texture and is composed principally of quartz, plagioclase, K-feldspar, and bioite. A big fault has been discovered at the 200 m northwest side of the main peak (262 m). It strikes N30。 E and dips 80。SE, and extends about 300 m. Pole-density diagram was established on the basis of orientation data of 73 joints measured. Nature of joints such as spacing, extension, termination type, and occurrence frequency was analysed and tabulated. It is expected that numerous fractures within the Mt. Namsan granite, together with textural and mineralogical features of the biotite granite, have attributed to the weathering processes of the rocks.
