Adaptive Decentralized Event-triggered Tracking Control for Large-scale Strongly Interconnected Nonlinear System with Global Performance

        Wenjing Yang,Jianwei Xia,Xiaoxiao Guo,Miao Yu,Na Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.5

In this paper, an adaptive decentralized event-triggered global performance control of a class of largescale strongly interconnected nonlinear systems with external disturbances is investigated. Firstly, the original performance constrained large-scale nonlinear system is transformed into an equivalent unconstrained nonlinear largescale system by barrier function transformation. Secondly, the additional assumptions of interconnect terms such as upper bound function and matching conditions are eliminated by using the inherent properties of Gaussian function. In addition, an event-triggered mechanism is designed to reduce unnecessary transfers between the controller and the actuator for better resource efficiency. It is shown that the proposed control schemes guarantee that all signals of the closed-loop system are bounded, and the output tracking error is always kept within the given boundary. Finally, a numerical system and a mass-spring damping system are taken as examples to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

Research on Static Behavior of Stud Shear Connectors after Strong-corrosion Based on Push-out Test

        Wenjing Qiao,Qihan Hu,Fan Yang,Haoyun Zhu 대한토목학회 2023 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.27 No.8

To study the shear bearing performance and failure mechanism of stud shear connectors after strong-corrosion, six groups of stud shear connectors were designed and then welded to the specimen. They are corroded by hydrochloric acid time for 0 h, 2 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h. Herein, the loading process, load-slip curve, shear bearing capacity, and failure mode were obtained by the push-out test. The bearing capacity formula was also proposed by the stress mechanism of 84 finite element models. The results of the study on stud shear connectors show that the shear capacity, deformation capacity and slip decrease gradually with the extension of corrosion time. Among them, the enlargement in the diameter exerts considerable influence on their shear capacity. Notwithstanding, the shear bearing capacity slightly increases with stud shear connectors lengthened. The concrete strength grade can strengthen the shear capacity. Finally, the shear bearing capacity formula, taking the reliability coefficient into account, is proposed by the exit test data of 104 stud shear connectors.

Development of EST-SSRs from the ark shell (Scapharca broughtonii) transcriptome and their application in genetic analysis of four populations

        Wenjing Wang,Biao Wu,Zhihong Liu,Liqing Zhou,Xiujun Sun,Jiteng Tian,Aiguo Yang 한국유전학회 2021 Genes & Genomics Vol.43 No.6

Background The ark shell (Scapharca broughtonii) is one of the most economically important mollusks in the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea of China. In recent years, ark shells from the Korean population were introduced to China for seed propagation and culture. Objective To explore the impact of the introduction of Korean ark shell on the genetic diversity of native population in China. Methods Simple sequence repeat (SSR) is efective and widely used tool for genetic analysis. In this study, 180 EST-SSRs were selected and verifed by polymerase chain reaction and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Subsequently, fve polymorphic EST-SSRs were screened and their primers were modifed by fuorescein for use in the genetic analysis of four populations. Results Genetic analysis showed that 361 alleles amplifed by fve SSR loci were detected in the four populations. The number of alleles for the fve SSRs ranged from 8 to 30, with a mean of 18.05 (standard deviation, SD=6.492). The efective number of alleles varied from 2.253 to 22.222, with a mean of 10.596 (SD=4.713). Observed heterozygosity and expected heterozygosity were 0.167–0.833 and 0.566–0.971, with average values of 0.520 (SD=0.177) and 0.891 (SD =0.062), respectively. Polymorphic information content ranged from 0.521 to 0.953, with a mean of 0.865 (SD=0.070). The pairwise genetic diferentiation coefcient (FST) of the four populations ranged from 0.0267 to 0.0477, showing low genetic diferentiation. The phylogenetic tree constructed by neighbor-joining method showed that the genetic distance between the Chinese Dalian native population and three Korean populations was relatively more far than that among those Korean populations. Conclusion The results indicated that the genetic structure of the Dalian wild population was less afected by the introduced Korean wild populations.

Fault Recoverability Analysis of Nonlinear Systems: A Piecewise Affine System Approach

        Wenjing Ren,Hao Yang,Bin Jiang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2017 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.15 No.2

The recoverability reflects the capability of the system to tolerate the worst faults over a prescribed setunder admissible energy constrains. In this paper, a piecewise affine (PWA) controller is designed for a PWAapproximation of the nonlinear dynamics, which can stabilize the original nonlinear system under some conditions. By analyzing the upper bound of the piecewise linear quadratic control performance of the PWA system, a novelfault recoverability evaluation scheme is further proposed for the nonlinear system with respect to the given limitof admissible control performance. A longitudinal flight control example is taken to show the effectiveness of theproposed method.

Tensile-Mechanical Degradation-Properties and J-C Constitutive Model of Studs after Strong-Acid Corrosion

        Wenjing Qiao,Hao Zhang,Gang Zhang,Fan Yang,Zhiguo Liu 대한토목학회 2022 KSCE Journal of Civil Engineering Vol.26 No.9

This paper presents an investigation on strong-acid relations between corrosion rate and corrosion time in 30 studs, dipped into 36% industrial hydrochloric acid through 0.5 h, 1 h, 2 h, 4 h, 8 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h, respectively. These corroded studs are performed tensile tests to study failure mode and stress-strain curves in studs with different corrosion time. Thereafter, a 3-D finite element is established through computer program to validate test results, and then analyze mechanical properties along with failure mode of studs exposed to strong-acid corrosion. The analysis results show that the failure mode gradually changes from ductile-damage state to brittle-damage state. The corrosion rates present a non-linear elevation with an increase of strong-acid-corrosion time. The nominal yield strength, the nominal ultimate strength, and the elongation in the corroded studs exhibit a fast-downward trend when increasing corrosion time. However, the degradation of elastic modulus turn into a slow step and the yield strength ratio in studs tends to be steady. The J-C model (Johnson-Cook Constitutive) with updated coefficients can be applied to reflect the constitutive relations in studs after strong-acid corrosion under quasi-static tension conditions. Further, this model can simulate stress flows within studs after strong-acid corrosion. This research results can provide a guide for long-lifetime construction and safe maintenance in steel structural bridge.

Joint Opportunistic Spectrum Access and Optimal Power Allocation Strategies for Full Duplex Single Secondary User MIMO Cognitive Radio Network

( Wenjing Yue ),( Yapeng Ren ),( Zhen Yang ),( Zhi Chen ),( Qingmin Meng ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2015 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.9 No.10

This paper introduces a full duplex single secondary user multiple-input multiple-output (FD-SSU-MIMO) cognitive radio network, where secondary user (SU) opportunistically accesses the authorized spectrum unoccupied by primary user (PU) and transmits data based on FD-MIMO mode. Then we study the network achievable average sum-rate maximization problem under sum transmit power budget constraint at SU communication nodes. In order to solve the trade-off problem between SU`s sensing time and data transmission time based on opportunistic spectrum access (OSA) and the power allocation problem based on FD-MIMO transmit mode, we propose a simple trisection algorithm to obtain the optimal sensing time and apply an alternating optimization (AO) algorithm to tackle the FD-MIMO based network achievable sum-rate maximization problem. Simulation results show that our proposed sensing time optimization and AO-based optimal power allocation strategies obtain a higher achievable average sum-rate than sequential convex approximations for matrix-variable programming (SCAMP)-based power allocation for the FD transmission mode, as well as equal power allocation for the half duplex (HD) transmission mode.

Isoliquiritigenin attenuates spinal tuberculosis through inhibiting immune response in a New Zealand white rabbit model

        Wenjing Wang,Baozhi Yang,Yong Cui,Ying Zhan 대한약리학회 2018 The Korean Journal of Physiology & Pharmacology Vol.22 No.4

Spinal tuberculosis (ST) is the tuberculosis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) infections in spinal curds. Isoliquiritigenin (4,2’,4’-trihydroxychalcone, ISL) is an anti-inflammatory flavonoid derived from licorice (Glycyrrhiza uralensis ), a Chinese traditional medicine. In this study, we evaluated the potential of ISL in treating ST in New Zealand white rabbit models. In the model, rabbits (n=40) were infected with Mtb strain H37Rv or not in their 6th lumbar vertebral bodies. Since the day of infection, rabbits were treated with 20 mg/kg and 100 mg/kg of ISL respectively. After 10 weeks of treatments, the adjacent vertebral bone tissues of rabbits were analyzed through Hematoxylin-Eosin staining. The relative expression of Monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1/CCL2), transcription factor κB (NF-κB) p65 in lymphocytes were verified through reverse transcription quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR), western blotting and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA). The serum level of interleukin (IL)-2, IL-4, IL-10 and interferon γ (IFN-γ) were evaluated through ELISA. The effects of ISL on the phosphorylation of IκBα, IKKα/β and p65 in NF-κB signaling pathways were assessed through western blotting. In the results, ISL has been shown to effectively attenuate the granulation inside adjacent vertebral tissues. The relative level of MCP-1, p65 and IL-4 and IL-10 were retrieved. NF-κB signaling was inhibited, in which the phosphorylation of p65, IκBα and IKKα/β were suppressed whereas the level of IκBα were elevated. In conclusion, ISL might be an effective drug that inhibited the formation of granulomas through downregulating MCP-1, NF-κB, IL-4 and IL-10 in treating ST.

A novel hydrothermal releasing synthesis of modified SiO2 material and its application in phenol removal process

        Xinyu Yang,Xiaoyao Liu,Wenjing Tang,Yajun Gao,Huijuan Ni,Jianbin Zhang 한국화학공학회 2017 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.34 No.3

A modified SiO2 material (MSM) was successfully synthesized by using Na2SiO3 and a novel CO2SM in the presence of CTAB through an innovative hydrothermal releasing treatment protocol. The MSM was systemically characterized using several techniques, including N2 adsorption-desorption isotherm, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The CO2SM as a platform for CO2 capturing and releasing can be reversibly used for multiple cycles without significant loss of capabilities. The optimum conditions for the preparation of MSM were identified as follows: Na2SiO3 concentration, 0.2mol/L; hydrothermal temperature, 120 oC; CO2SM dosage, 6 g; CTAB concentration, 24 g/L, reaction time, 12 h. Additionally, the MSM exhibited high efficiency for the removal of phenol from aqueous solution: it showed a phenol adsorption capacity of 91.29mg/g when shaken with the aqueous phenol solution at 180 rpm for 1 h at 25 oC.
