Thi Nguyet Dung NGUYEN,Thi Thu Huong NGUYEN,Thi Phuong Anh NGUYEN,Thi Thu Huong NGUYEN,Thi Phuong Thao VU 한국유통과학회 2022 유통과학연구 Vol.20 No.5
Purpose: The paper employs the theory of planned behaviour, social identity theory, social presence theory, and social exchange theory to propose a model for using the social media platform Facebook in distributing information in universities. Research design, data and methodology: Data were obtained from 618 students at Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI) in Vietnam. The study used structural equation modeling in SPSS and the statistical analysis software AMOS version 24 to explore the information distribution role of Facebook. Results: Findings reveal that subjective norms and social presence play a key role in driving students to use Facebook for studying. In addition, university administrators can boost student satisfaction and academic achievement through Facebook. Interestingly, students who strongly identify with the brand name of the university have a strong connection with the university are more likely to engage in behaviors supportive toward the university. Conclusions: These findings show that Facebook had played a key information distribution role in universities. Thus, the study provides the executive board of the university and teachers can gain new understanding of why students employ Facebook for studying as well as capitalize on the platform to improve several operational metrics such as brand identification, student satisfaction, and academic achievement.

This study will help researchers, developers, and managers to understand the major determinants of customer acceptance of mobile banking that can help banks to improve the rate of mobile banking adoption in developing country context. This study seeks to investigate the underlying factors of mobile banking in Vietnam and Korea. Thus, this study tries to analyze the underlying factors of the adoption of m-banking and the differences between developed country (Korea) and developing country (Vietnam) in terms of the adoption factors of mobile banking. The results indicated that environmental responsibility affect behavioral intention stronger than social responsibility. Therefore, Vietnamese companies as well as banks should incorporate CSR initiatives in their integrated marketing communication strategy in particular branding strategy to attract more customers. The results of the hypotheses testing showed the differences between Vietnam and South Korea and technology infrastructure difference between the two countries were the driving forces behind these different results. Managerial implications and the limitations of the study were also discussed.

In order to facilitate the quality control of some selected Korean thistles (Cirsii Herb), Cirsium japonicum var ussuriense, C. japonium var spinosissimum, C. setidens, C. pendulum, C. nipponicum, Carduus crispus, and Breea segetum, a simple, accurate and reliable high performance liguid chromatography method was developed for the simultaneous determination of the six flavonoids: luteolin 5-O-glucoside (1), luteolin 7-O-glucoside (2), hispidulin 7-O-neohesperidoside (3), luteolin (4), pectolinarin (5), and apigenin (6), which were selected as the chemical markers of the thistles. Separation was achieved on an Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column with a gradient solvent system of 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid aqueous-methanol at a flow-rate of 1.0 mL/min and detected at 254 nm. All six calibration curves showed good linearity (R2 > 0.991). The method was reproducible with intra- and inter-day variations of less than 6%. The recoveries were in the range of 90.01-100.05%. This analysis method was successfully utilized to quantify the six flavonoids in the 22 batches of the thistles. The results demonstrated that this method is simple, reliable and suitable for the quality control of this medicinal herb.
