In response to the increasing demands of tourism destinations, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy under the mandate from the Indonesian President in 2016 has initiated a mega project called “Ten New Bali”. The areas of destination planned to be developed are: Borobudur Temple in West Java, Mandalika in Lombok Island, Labuan Bajo in Flores Island East Nusa Tenggara, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru in East Java, the Thousand Islands in North Jakarta, Toba Lake in North Sumatra, Wakatobi in Southeast Sulawesi, Tanjung Lesung in West Java, Morotai in North of Halmahera in maluku Islands and Tanjung Kelayang in Belitung Sumatra. This initiation is a summer breeze for some reasons knowing that Indonesia is opening so many alternative channels for economic development toward tourism. However, the concept of “Ten New Bali”, if it is referred to the actual condition of what Bali is currently suffering from at the moment, is a wake-up call for all participating social, economy and environmental investigators to fully navigate the projects from being staked out from a pull tourism destination’s perspective. The study is intended to examine and elaborate strategic answers toward the impacts on the enforcement of Indonesia’ tourism establishment particularly the aftermath likelihoods from the initiation of “Ten New Bali”, starting with the issue of locals’ economic growth and leakages within their participation in tourism development, and environmental quality’s degradation.
Authoring Tool of Musical Slide Show MAF Contents
Muhammad Syah Houari Sabirin,Munchurl Kim(김문철) 한국방송·미디어공학회 2006 한국방송공학회 학술발표대회 논문집 Vol.2006 No.-
The Musical Slide Show MAF, which currently being standardized by MPEG, conveys the concept of combining several established standard technologies in a single file format. It defines the format of packing up MP3 audio data, along with MPEG-7 Simple Metadata Profile and MPEG-21 Digital Item Declaration metadata; with JPEG images and optional text, and synchronizes them all together to create a slideshow of JPEG image data associated to MP3 audio data during the audio playback. The implementation of Musical Slide Show MAF can be a music karaoke file where users can sing along while listening to the music, view the JPEG slideshow and reading the lyrics; or a story-telling file where users can listen to the narrated story by looking at the related illustration slideshow of the story In this paper we present the tool to producing the Musical Slide Show MAF contents. Regardless the knowledge of user on the MAF file format, the authoring tool simplify the manner of packaging several multimedia contents into single file.
Genetic and phytochemical analysis of Indonesian black rice cultivars
Irza Guari Syah Fitri,Nurhasanah,Handoyo Tri 한국작물학회 2021 Journal of crop science and biotechnology Vol.24 No.5
There are many local black rice cultivars spread throughout Indonesia and are only a few of these which formally describe their genetic diversity and phytochemical properties. It has not been reported that some local black rice has contained higher secondary metabolic, including phenolic, favonoid, anthocyanin, and antioxidant capacity than other colored rice and which contributes to the source of functional food. Genetic diversity analysis of 18 colored and 3 white rice genotypes using microsatellite and inter simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers, morphological characters and phytochemical properties (TPC, TFC, TAC, and antioxidant activity) were observed in this study. The amylose, phenolic, favonoid and anthocyanin contents of the ffteen local black rice cultivars had approximately 8.50–27.74%, 171.32–405.20 mg GAE/100 g dry weight, 90.36–187.94 mg QE/100 g dry weight, and 11.23–103.22 mg CYE/100 g dry weight, respectively. While IC50 of DPPH radical scavenging activity is approximately 24.46–62.81 µg/mL. All cultivars were clustered into two clusters and four sub-cluster based on amylose, phytochemical properties, and antioxidant capacity named hierarchical cluster. Hierarchical clustering indicates that two clusters showed diferent properties, of which cluster (I) (Hitam Banjarnegara) has the greatest phytochemical properties; cluster (II) (Inpari 23) has the lowest phytochemical properties. The genetic diversity of all cultivars was assessed using twenty microsatellite and ISSR markers. Genetic clustering showed two clusters and four subclusters, the genetic distance values ranged from 0.581 to 0.983 for all cultivars. Genetic analysis separates Indonesian local rice into two clusters which showed the diferent types of rice, in which cluster I was divided into sub-cluster (IA) (white and red rice) and sub-cluster (IB) (black rice); cluster (II) consisted of the twelve black rice cultivars.

Bacillus pumilus 2.g isolated from gembus, an Indonesian fermented soybean cake, secretes several proteases that have strong fibrinolytic activities. A fibrinolytic enzyme with an apparent molecular weight of 20 kDa was purified from the culture supernatant of B. pumilus 2.g by sequential application of ammonium sulfate precipitation, ion-exchange chromatography, and hydrophobic chromatography. The partially purified enzyme was stable between pH 5 and pH 9 and temperature of less than $60^{\circ}C$. Fibrinolytic activity was increased by 5 mM $MgCl_2$ and 5 mM $CaCl_2$ but inhibited by 1 mM phenylmethylsulfonyl fluoride (PMSF), 1 mM sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), and 1 mM ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). The partially purified enzyme quickly degraded the ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$ chains of fibrinogen but was unable to degrade the ${\gamma}$ chain.
Economic and Environmental Impacts of Mass Tourism on Regional Tourism Destinations in Indonesia
Jung Wan Lee,Ahmad Mujafar Syah 한국유통과학회 2018 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.5 No.3
The study examines economic and environmental impacts of mass tourism on regional tourism destinations, particularly the establishment of “Ten New Bali”, in Indonesia. The sample is restricted to the period of time in which annual data is available and comparable among variables from 1980 to 2015 (36 observations). All of the time series data was collected and retrieved from the World Development Indicator database published by the World Bank. This study applies cointegrating regression analysis using the fully modified OLS, canonical cointegrating regression, and dynamic OLS. The results of the study suggest that 1) there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between tourism receipts, environmental degradation and economic growth in Indonesia, 2) tourism growth and agriculture land growth are positively related to an increase of total output in the short-run in Indonesia, and 3) arable land is significant at the 0.01 level, but forest rents and CO2 from transport are not significant in the short-run in Indonesia. The results confirm that arable land is negatively related to an increase of total output in Indonesia. That is, when tourism growth in the economy is getting realized it shows that the environmental degradation increases greatly in inverse in the model, eventually negative impacts to the environment.

Three Diels-Alder type adducts, guangsangon E (1), chalcomoracin (2) and sorocein I (3) were isolated from hairy root cultures of Morus macroura. The structures of the isolated compounds (1 - 3) were determined by spectroscopic method (NMR and MS), and spectral comparison to literature. Cytotoxic activities of the isolated compounds (1 - 3) were investigated against P-388 murine leukemia cell line. Guangsangon E (1) showed the most potent cytotoxicity against P-388 murine leukemia cell line with IC50 value of 2.75 ± 0.32 µg/mL. To the best of our knowledge, guangsangon E (1) and sorocein I (3) were reported for the first time from the tissue cultures of M. macroura.
