      • The insect community structure with indicator species along vegetation composition in Is. Nam-hae, South Korea

        An insect faunal survey was carried out to investigate insect community structure along the vegetation community to monitor insect species in forest ecosystem. We performed day and night collections from June to August along three vegetation communities of Is. Nam-hae in 2014: the first stand with Pinus thunbergii, the second P. thunbergii with Quercus serrata and the third P. thunbergii with various Quercus species. In total 2,259 individuals of 532 species, 99 families, 13 orders are identified. Cluster Analyses (CA) showed that all three vegetation communities were relatively similar between vegetation community types. According to indicator species analysis (ISA) result, nine significant indicator species were identified (p < 0.05); five species were found to be affected by the vegetation cluster and four species the month cluster.

      • 수출용 축양품종 가지의 염절임 공정의 최적화

        가지의 수출 경쟁력 향상을 위한 한 방안으로 수출용 가지품종인 축양품종을 염가공품으로 개발하기 위하여 염절임공정을 최적화하였다. 염절임 시간, 절임온도, 염농도를 독립변수로 하고 절임 후 수분함량, 염도, 표면과 내부의 색도 등을 종속변수로 하여, 중심합성계획법으로 실험을 설계하여 최적조건을 얻고자 하였다. 수립된 이차회귀모형으로 예측식을 수립할 수 있었으며 특히 수분함량이나 염도, 표면과 내부의 L과 b 값에 대하여 높은 적합도를 보여 최적조건을 수립하기 위한 제한 변수로 선정하였다. 염농도를 중심점(30%)에서 고정시켜서 얻은 절임시간과 온도는 각각 5.5~6.5일과 13-17℃였으며, 이때의 종속변수의 제한 요건으로는 수분함량 84%이하, 염도 14%이하 표면 L값 10-20, b값 0이하, 내부 L 값은 70-75, b 값이 16-18이었다. This study was conducted to the optimize salting process of eggplant for development new product and enhancement quality for export. Three variables by five level central composite design and response surface methodology were used to determine optimum conditions for salting time, temperature and salt concentration. Optimization of the process was conducted using the combination of the moisture content, salinity and color of surface and inside of salted eggplant. The regression polynomial model was suitable (P>0.05) by Lack-of-Fit analysis with highly significant. To optimize the process, based on surface response and contour plots, the individual contour plots of the response variables were superimposed. The optimum conditions for this process were 6 days and 15℃ at 30% concentration under the optimum of restricted variables as moisture content was below 84%, salinity was below 14%, L and b value of surface were 10 to 20 and below 0, L value and b value of inside were 70 to 75 and 16 to 18.

        원하는 PMMA의 전환율, 수평균중합도 및 분산도를 얻고자 회분식 중합반응기의 온도궤도를 결정하였다. 원하는 물성을 얻기 위하여 먼저 순간 수평균중합도 ??의 변화를 2개의 매개변수를 갖는 식으로 설정하고 이값과 반응메카니즘으로부터 구해지는 순간수평균중합도 ??의 차의제곱을 최소화하는 온도궤도를 계산하였다. 초기 개시제의 양, 분산도 및 초기 반응온도등이 온도궤도에 어떤 영향을 주는지 고찰하였으며 계산된 온도궤도에 외란을 주어서 이것이 최종물성에 미치는 영향을 고찰하여 적절한 ??을 선택하고자 하였다. ?? 형태는 초반에는 일정값을 유지하다가 후반에 완만하게 증가하도록 설정하는 것이 바람직하였다. In order to obtain the desired PMMA physical properties(conversion rate, number-average degree of polymerization and polydispersity), temperature-time profiles of a batch reactor were calculated. It was obtained by minimization of the square of the difference between instantaneous number-average degree of polymerization, ?? (two parameters guess function), and ??(from reaction mechanism). We found that the profile was influenced by the changes in the initiator loading amounts, polydispersity and initial reaction temperature. To get the suitable selection of ?? type, we introduced the disturbance to the profile which affect to the physical properties of polymer. It was found that for good physical properties of polymer the value of ?? need to be maintained at a point steadily in the initial stage and to be increased slightly thereafter.

      • 기관지천식 환자에서 유도객담을 이용한 기도 염증의 평가

        Objectives : This study was performed to investigate the relationship between cell counts, supernatant and lysate ECP levels in sputum, and physiologic markers in adult asthmatic. Methods : Twenty-two patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma, ten patients with acute exacerbated asthma and nine healthy subjects were enrolled. Sputum was induced by inhalation of hypertonic saline, and homogenized with 0.1% dithiothreitol. A total and differential cell was measured in supernatant fluid. Cell pellet was centrifuged, and ECP(supernatant ECP) was measured in supernatant fluid. Cell pellet was reacted with a cellular lysis buffer to release cell-associated ECP, and ECP(lysate ECP) was measured again in supernatant fluid. The ratio of supernatant to lysate ECP was calculated as an index of eosinophil degranulation. Spirometry and methacholine bronchial challenge tests were also performed as physiological markers of asthma. Results : The patients with acute exacerbated asthma showed significantly higher percentage of sputum neutrophil, eosinophil count, concentration of sputum supernatant ECP and ratio of supernatant to lysate ECP than those of normal controls and stable asthmatic patients(p<0.05, respectively). The level of sputum supernatant ECP, supernatant/lysate ECP ratio, and percentage of neutrophil showed negative correlations with pulmonary functions, but no correlations with a degree of bronchial hyperresponsiveness. There was no significant correlations between of serum ECP level and physiological parameters. Conclusion : These results suggest that both neutrophils and eosinophils play roles in the exacerbation of asthma. The sputum supernatant/lysate ECP ratio might be valuable in assessment of activation status of eosinophils in various hypereosinophilic conditions or diseases.

Moreover, several social systems for improving qualify of life give people the chance to enjoy their leisure time. The culture which is large-scale oriented tourism is getting smaller as family-oriented culture, the concept of lodging is changing to the part of the leisure as well. Pension industry which started since 1999 is dramatically increasing, and finally becomes the most important thing in the tourist industry This paper will not only look at relatively limited programs and management of the pension complex, but also look for the way to develop the pension industry with 'Edenpia' in Pyung-chang city, Gangwon-do.

      • 靈岩地域에 分布한 白堊紀 花崗岩의 岩石 地化學的 硏究

        This study is on the granites of the Cretaceous around the Mt. Weolchul, at Yeongam in Chollanamdo. Precise field researches were made several times to perform this study and 150 samples were gathered. Fifty-six thin sections were made of 56 chosen samples which were fresh, and the modal analysis was done on 35 thin sections. The chemical analysis of 5 samples was done. According to the result of modal analysis and norm analysis, granites around these research area come under granite. According to the correlation map of SiO_2 versus oxides this granite is similar to the distribution tendency of calc-alktaline granites and Bulgugsa granites. According to the chappell and Hine's I-type and S-type theory, the granites of this area belong to I-type; and according to the analysis by the content of Fe_2O_3 and FeO, they belong to I-type, so these rocks were originated from igneous rocks. According to the measurement degree of magnetic subseptibility on these rocks, they belong to magnetite series more than 10^-4 Sl.

        3-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-2,2,4-trimethyl-3-cyclohexenone SEM ether ??, an intermediate in the synthesis of taxol was provided in eight steps. The keto ketal ?? was obtained in three steps from 1,3-cyclohexanedione. Reaction of the potassium enolate of ?? with N-phenyltrifluoromethanesulfonimide provided triflate ?? in 84% yield. Thus palladium-mediated cross-coupling reaction of enol triflate ?? with vinyltributylstannane afforded diene ?? in a 89% yield. 3-(2-Hydroxyethyl)-2,2,4-trimethyl-3-Cyclohexenone SEM ether was prepared from diene ?? by sequential hydroboration [9-BBN, THF, 89%], deprotection[pTsOH ·H₂O, THF-H₂O,~100%], and silyation [SEMC], iPr₂NEt, nBu₄NI, CH₂Cl₂, 94%]

        복어중독에 의한 가사 상태에서 소생한 1예

        Tetrodotoxin is a neurotoxin produced by about 90 species of puffer fish and causes paralysis of central nervous system and peripheral nerves by blocking the movement of all monovalent cation. Ingestion of tetrodotoxin produces clinical manifestations such as paresthesias(within 10-45 min), vomiting, lightheadedness, salivation, muscle twitching, dysphagia, difficulty in speaking, convulsion and death that expressed by cardiopulmonary arrest with loss of brain stem reflex sometimes. Tetrodotoxin prevents or delays ischemia induced neuronal death by way of following 3 mechanisms. Firstly, it reduces the energy demand of the brain tissues. Secondly, it delays or even prevents anoxic depolarization. Finally, it deminishes ischemia induced cell swelling and cerebral edema. We report a case of puffer fish poisoning which presented with cardiopulmonary arrest and loss of brain stem reflex, but completely recovered by aggressive cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
