      • Chalcogenization-Derived Band Gap Grading in Solution-Processed CuIn<sub><i>x</i></sub>Ga<sub>1–<i>x</i></sub>(Se,S)<sub>2</sub> Thin-Film Solar Cells

        <P>Significant enhancement of solution-processed CuInxGa1-x(Se,S)(2) (CIGSSe) thin-film solar cell performance was achieved by inducing a band gap gradient in the film thickness, which was triggered by the chalcogenization process. Specifically, after the preparation of an amorphous mixed oxide film of Cu, In, and Ga by a simple paste coating method chalcogenization under Se vapor, along with the flow of dilute H2S gas, resulted in the formation of CIGSSe films with graded composition distribution: S-rich top, In- and Se-rich middle, and Ga- and S-rich bottom. This uneven compositional distribution was confirmed to lead to a band gap gradient in the film, which may also be responsible for enhancement in the open circuit voltage and reduction in photocurrent loss, thus increasing the overall efficiency. The highest power conversion efficiency of 11.7% was achieved with J(sc) of 28.3 mA/cm(2), V-oc of 601 mV, and FF of 68.6%.</P>

        운동시의 습관적인 이 악물기가 치경부 수복물에 가해지는 스트레스를 분산하기 위한 마우스가드의 사용

        마우스가드는 19세기 복싱선수들의 구강내 열상과 연조직의 외상을 막기 위해 사용되었다. 최근에는 치과영역에서 다양하게 사용되고 있으며, 운동 보호 장치, 미백용 장치물, 교정용 유지 장치, 수술용 가이드 장치, 턱관절 안정 장치물 등에 쓰이고 있다. 습관적인 이 악물기에 의한 반복적인 5급 수복물의 탈락은 우선 이 악물기에 의한 스트레스를 조절한 후 수복이 이루어져야 한다. 마우스가드는 이 악물기에 의한 스트레스를 조절하는 장치물로 사용할 수 있다. 본 증례에서는 마우스가드로 치아에 가해지는 스트레스는 감소시키는 것에 대해 논의 할 것이다. 마우스가드를 사용함으로써 반복적인 탈락을 나타내는 5급 수복물의 유지에 단기적으로 만족스러운 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 만약 환자 및 치과의사가 이 악물기로 반복적인 탈락을 나타내는 수복물로 고생하고 있다면, 마우스가드의 보조적인 사용이 치경부 수복물의 유지에 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다. Mouthguards were used to protect boxers from lip lacerations and other soft tissue injuries in the late 19th century. Now they are used various parts of dental treatment, which are sports protective aid, bleaching tray, orthodontic retainer, implant insertion guide tray, splint and so on. Repeated dislodgement of Class V restoration due to habitual clenching stress should be restored with stress control. Mouthguard can be used as stress relief device. This case describes methods that can relieve occlusal force to teeth by using mouthguard. Satisfactory results can be obtained by using mouthguard for retention of repeated dislodgement Class V restorations. If patients suffered from repeated restorations of Class V due to clenching, mouthguard can be used additional device to relieve the occlusal stress in conservative dentistry.

        구강점막에 발생한 섬유성 과증식의 처치

        구강점막은 흡입되거나 압력을 받아, 병적이진 않으나 임상적으로 뚜렷한 변화를 일으키는 수많은 상황에 놓이게 된다. 협점막과 혀는 치아가 상실되었거나 여분의 공간이 존재하는 부위에서 돌기가 형성될 수 있다. 점막이 여분의 공간으로 압력을 받거나 흡입되어 섬유성 과증식이 발생하게 되는 것이다. 이번 증례보고에서는 구강점막의 섬유성 과증식의 처치에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 섬유성 과증식은 구강점막에 가해진 습관성 압력이나 흡입에 의해 형성될 수 있다. 섬유성 과증식의 치료는 단순 절제술과 원인을 제거하는 것이다. 또한 습관 조절이 재발을 방지하기 위한 중요한 요소가 된다. There are a number of situations where the oral mucosa can be sucked or pressed to produce relatively banal but clinical distinctive changes. The labial and buccal mucosa and tongue may develop protuberances in areas where a tooth is missing or extra space is present. The mucosa is pressed and sucked into theses paces, thus leading to the development of a fibrous hyperplasia. This case report describes the management of fibrous hyperplasia in oral mucosa. Fibrous hyperplasia can be formed by habitual pressure or suction in oral mucosa. Treatment of fibrous hyperplasia consists of simple excision and, if feasible, elimination of the cause. And habit control is a important factor for preventing recurrence.

        수종의 자가 접착 레진 시멘트의 물성 및 lithium disilicate ceramic과 상아질에 대한 전단결합강도 비교

        본 연구의 목적은 치면 처리와 수복물 내면의 처리가 필요 없는 자가 접착 레진 시멘트의 물성 및 lithium disilicate ceramic과 상아질에 대한 전단결합강도를 측정하고 기존의 레진 시멘트와 비교하여 임상적 유용성을 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 실험군인 자가 접착 레진 시맨트로는 Rely-X Unicem, Embrace Wetbond, Maxcem, BisCem을, 대조군으로는 기존의 레진 시멘트인 Rely-X ARC, 수복용 복합레진인 Z-350을 사용하였다. 각 레진 시멘트의 물성 평가를 위하여 테플론 주형을 이용하여 시편을 제작하고 만능 시험기를 이용하여 압축강도, 간접인장강도, 굴곡강도를 측정하였다. IPS Empress 2 및 상아질 시편에 제조사의 지시대로 Rely-X ARC군과 Z-350군에만 전처리를 시행 후 각 시멘트를 접착하고 전단결합강도를 측정하였다. 실험 결과는 다음과 같았다. 1. 자가 접착 레진 시멘트인 Biscem이 가장 낮은 물리적 성질을 나타내었다 (P<0.05). 2. 자가 접착 레진 시멘트의 상아질 및 도재에 대한 전단결합강도는 기존의 레진 시멘트에 비해 유의성 있게 낮은 값을 나타내었다 (P<0.05). 이상의 결과로 볼 때 자가 접착 레진 시멘트는 기존의 레진 시멘트에 비해 물리적 성질 및 상아질과 lithium disilicate ceramic에 대한 전단결합강도가 떨어지는 것으로 사료된다. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical properties of different self-adhesive resin cements and their shear bond strength on dentin and lithium disilicate ceramic and compare these result with that of conventional resin cement. For this study, four self-adhesive resin cements (Rely-X Unicem, Embrace Wetbond, Mexcem, BisCem), one conventional resin cement (Rely-X ARC) and one restorative resin composite (Z-350) were used. In order to evaluate the physical properties, compressive strength, diametral tensile strength and flexural strenth were measured. To evaluate the shear bond strength on dentin, each cement was adhered to buccal dentinal surface of extracted human lower molars. Dentin bonding agent was applied after acid etching for groups of Rely-X ARC and Z-350. In order to evaluate the shear bond strength on ceramic, lithium disilicate glass ceramic (IPS Empress 2) disks were prepared. Only Rely-X ARC and Z-350 groups were pretreated with hydrofluoric acid and silane. And then each resin cement was adhered to ceramic surface in 2 mm diameter. Physical properties and shear bond strengths were measured using a universal testing machine. Results were as follows 1. BisCem showed the lowest compressive strength, diametral tensile strength and flexural strength. (P<0.05) 2. Self-adhesive resin cements showed significantly lower shear bond strength on the dentin and lithium disilicate ceramic than Rely-X ARC and Z-350 (P<0.05) In conclusion, self-adhesive resin cements represent the lower physical properties and shear bond strength than a conventional resin cement.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this work, copper indium gallium selenide (Cu(In,Ga)Se<SUB>2</SUB>; CIGS) absorbers were grown on polyimide (PI)/molybdenum substrates by a three-stage co-evaporation process at various temperatures, film formation was systemically studied using various advanced characterization methods such as transmission electron microscopy, micro-Raman spectroscopy, Kelvin probe force microscopy, and atom probe tomography. The CIGS films on PI were found to exhibit considerable physical and electrical variations with respect to the process temperature of three-stage co-evaporation. In particular, when the process temperature reached 400 °C, the CIGS absorber on PI began to exhibit controlled microstructure and intergrain properties. By adjusting the microstructure and intergrain properties of the absorber films by means of the process temperature of three-stage co-evaporation, flexible CIGS solar cells on PI with an efficiency of 16.7% (with anti-refection coating) were achieved.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> CIGS absorber films were grown on flexible polyimide/molybdenum substrates. </LI> <LI> Low-temperature three-stage process (≤440 °C) with extrinsic Na addition was used to CIGS growth. </LI> <LI> CIGS film evolution was systemically observed using advanced material characterization techniques. </LI> <LI> Highly efficient CIGS cells on flexible polyimide substrates were realized while maintaining process manufacturability. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

        Successful Treatment of a Gastric Plasmacytoma Using a Combination of Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection and Oral Thalidomide

        We report a rare case of a gastric plasmacytoma treated with endoscopic resection and oral thalidomide therapy. A 70-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with indigestion. He had no specific medical history and unremarkable laboratory results. Gastroendoscopic findings revealed a focal, erythematous, flat elevated lesion in the anterior wall of the stomach antrum. A biopsy revealed atypical lymphocytes. Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) with an insulation-tipped knife was performed 45 days after diagnosis. Radiological and hematological evaluations, including a bone marrow biopsy, were performed and showed no involvement of other organs. The patient was diagnosed with extramedullary gastric plasmacytoma. Follow-up gastroendoscopy was performed three times during a 2-year period and showed nonspecific ESD scarring. The patient’s condition was found to be stable.

      • S-192 Prevalence and predictors of mortality with Stress induced Cardiomyopathy in critically ill patients

        Purpose:?The aims of this study were to assess frequency of stress induced cardiomyopathy (SCMP) and predictors for incidence of SCMP in patients who admitted to medical ICU. We also explored the predictors of in-hospital mortality in patients with SCMP.?Method:?It is a retrospective cohort study. A total of 338 patients admitted to medical ICU and underwent transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) between January 2015 and December 2015 were enrolled. Definition of SCMP was defines as follows: 1) transient hypokinesis, akinesis of the left ventricular mid segments with or without apical involvement or the regional wall motion abnormalities extend beyond a single epicardial vascular distribution; 2) absence of obstructive coronary disease; 3) new EKG abnormalities or modest elevation in cardiac troponin; 4) absence of pheochromocytoma, myocarditis. Logistic regression model was used to analysis predictors for incidence of SCMP and predictors of in-hospital mortality in SCMP respectively. Cox regression model was used to analysis the influence of SCMP to mortality.?Results:?Of the 338 patients, SCMP was observed in 42 patients (12.4%). Compared to 296 patients without SCMP, patients with SCMP had lower frequency of DM (19% vs 29.2%, p=0.01), COPD (4.8% vs 16.9%, p=0.04) and higher prevalence of using mechanical ventilator (MV, 90.5% vs 71.9%, p=0.03), and lower ejection fraction (EF, 38.0±15.6 vs 61.7±11.8, p<0.001). In multivariate analysis, lower BMI (odd ratio, 0.88; 95% CI, 0.78 to 0.99; p=0.04) and lower EF (odd ratio, 0.90; 95% CI, 0.87 to 0.92; p<0.01) were associated with development of SCMP. In a Cox regression model adjusted with several confounders (age, DM, malignancy, liver cirrhosis, shock, acute kidney injury, use of MV) SCMP showed trend to increase of 60-day mortality (p=0.052). Among 42 patients with SCMP, acute kidney injury(AKI) was the only risk factor for predicting in-hospital mortality (odd ratio, 8.19; 95% CI, 1.35 to 47.75; p=0.02).?Conclusions:?Our study showed that prevalence of SCMP was 12.4% and trend to increase of 60-day mortality of critically ill patients. In patients with SCMP, AKI was the only risk factor for predicting in-hospital mortality.

        제주도 자연토양에서 중금속의 농도

        For 63 soil series distributed in Jeju Island, natural uncultivated soils in each soil series were collected, and their physicochemical properties and their concentrations of 19 heavy metals including 8 heavy metals which are regulated by Korean Soil Environment Conservation Law, were analyzed. Moreover, the correlations between physicochemical properties and heavy metal concentrations, and between heavy metal concentrations were analyzed. The heavy metals distributed in the higher concentrations and the lower concentrations with arithmetric mean value, were Mn(730 mg/kg) and Ba(493 mg/kg), and Hg(0.146 mg/kg) and Tl(0.096 mg/kg), respectively. The correlations between pH(H2O) and heavy metals(Hg, Ni, Co, Se), between pH(NaF) and heavy metals(Hg, Ba, Se, Tl), and between organic matter content and heavy metals(Hg, Tl) were significant at the 0.01 level. From the correlations between heavy metal concentrations, there were 22 where there were significant at the 0.01 level and they showed positive correlation. Among those, the heavy metals showing the correlation higher than r=0.5, were Sb-V(0.878), Mo-Sn(0.867), Co-V(0.654), Co-Sb(0.648), Be-Sn(0.546), and Sn-Tl(0.528).
