N/A Objectives: Thioredoxin peroxidase(TPx), which does not exhibit similar activity and amino acid sequence homology to conventional antioxidant enzymes has been purified from S cerevisiae and bovine brain. Natural killer enhancing factor-A(NKEF-A)/ proliferation associated gene(PAG), natural killer enhancing factor-B(NKEF-B)/TPx and MER5 which has sequence homology to yeast TPx has been recently characterized biochemically, Prosperi has reported that the level of PAG in HL-60 cells was increased after serum stimulation and decreased after differentiation induced by DMSO treatment. It is well known that thioredoxin, the electron donor to thioredoxin peroxidase, also implicated in cell proliferation via protein kinase C pathway. Disturbed balance of reactive oxygen species and antioxidant in tumor tissue could enhance the cancer promotion This study was designed to investigate the distribution of NKEF-A/FAG, NKEF-B/TPx and MER5 in various tissues, and the expression of NKEF- A/PAG, NKEF-B/TPx and MER5 in human cancers. Methods We used antibodies against the puri- fied recombinant protein of NKEF-A/PAG and NKEF-B/TPx and C-terminus amino acids(SP- TASKEYFEKVHO) of MER5, We separated cytosole and mitochondria from rat liver and prepared crude extract from these. We prepared crude extract of various tissues from rat and cancer tissue from lung, stomach and breast and paired normal tissue. Immunoblot analysis of these crude extracts was performed. Results: 1) NKEF-A/PAG and NKEF-B/TPx existed in cytosolic fraction as Cu, Zn-SOD and MER5 mainly exist mainly in mitochondrial fraction as Mn-SOD. Although the level of NKEF-AIPAG, NKEF-B/TPx and MER5 was different, all tissues exhibited NKEF-A/PAG, NKEF-B/TPx and MER5 immunoreactive bands. The adrenal gland had relatively strong band of MEK. 2) The expression of NKEF-A/PAG in HL-60 cell was increased after serum stimulation and decreased after cell differentiation induced by DMSO treatment. 3) The expression of NKEF-A/PAG was increased in lung and breast cancer tissues compaired to paired normal tissues but was not changed in stomach cancer tissues and the expression of NKEF-B/TPx and MER5 was not changed in lung, stomach and breast cancer tissues compaired to paired normal tissues. 4) The level of NKEF-A/PAG, NKEF-B/TPx and MER5 was not different among various lung cancer cell lines. Conclusion: The NKEF-A/PAG, NKRF-B/TPx and MER5 are present in the cytosol and mitochondria of various tissues. The NKEF-A/PAG, in particular, is associated with cell proliferation and differentiation and overexpressed in lung and breast cancer.

An experimental study has been conducted to investigate the heat/mass transfer characteristics within a film cooling hole of square cross-section for various blowing ratios and Reynolds numbers. The experiments have been performed using a naphthalene sublimation method and the flow field has been analyzed by numerical calculation using a commercial code. A duct flow enters into a film cooling hole in a cross-direction. For the film cooling hole with square cross-section. it is observed that the reattachment of separated flow and the vortices within the hole enhance considerably the heat/mass transfer around the hole entrance region. The heat/mass transfer on the leading edge side of hole exit region increases as the blowing ratios decrease because the main flow induces a. secondary vortex. Heat/mass transfer patterns within the square film cooling hole are changed little with the various Reynolds numbers.

Four cases of intracerebral hemorrhage remote from the site of initial supratentorial craniotomy are presented. Traumatic cases are excluded in this report and all cases developed after uneventful elective craniotomy. Two patients had ruptured aneurysm and the other two had giant supratentorial tumors, one craniophayrngioma and one ependymoma. All patients were operated on supine position and no patient had preoperative hypertension. Two had hematoma in the subcortical white matter, one in the cerebellar hemisphere and the other one showed hematoma both in the cerebellar hemisphere and the supratentorial subcortical area. The size of hematoma ranged from 8-20㏄ in volume. No definite cause could be found except one in which the blood pressure was transiently elevated during induction of anesthesia. A possible cause might be the sudden changes of blood pressure during induction and recovery from anesthesia, overdrainage of CSF, continuous CSF drainage and sudden changes in intracranial dynamics by removal of a huge intracranial mass. One patient with intracerebellar hemorrhage needed emergency suboccipital craniectomy for removal of the hematoma. One patient with intracerebellar hemorrhage needed emergency suboccipital craniectomy for removal of the hematoma. One patient with intracerebellar hemorrhage needed emergency suboccipital craniectomy for removal of the hematoma. One patient shows no improvement due to aspiration pneumonia and subsequent lung abscess. Although rare these conditions may occur after any craniotomy and surgeons should always be alert to the possibilities of such comlications, especially when intracranial pressure (ICP) was elevated.

An experimental study has been conducted to investigate the heat/mass transfer characteristics within a square film cooling hole with asymmetric inlet now condition. The asymmetric inlet now condition is achieved by making distances between side walls of the secondary now duct and the film cooling hole different; one side wall is $2D_h$ apart from the center of the film cooling hole, while the other side wall is $1.5D_h$ apart from the center of the film cooling hole. The heat/mass transfer experiments for this study have been performed using a naphthalene sublimation method and the now field has been analyzed by numerical calculation using a commercial code. Swirl now is generated at the inlet region and the heat/mass transfer pattem with the asymmetric inlet now condition is changed significantly from that with the symmetric condition. In the exit region, the effect of mainstream on the inside hole now is reduced with the asymmetric condition. The average heat/mass transfer coefficient is higher than that with the symmetric condition due to the swirl now generated by the asymmetric inlet condition.

1. The cause of Pehuh is deficiency of Peki(肺氣). Symptoms are tachypnea, thirst and deafness of hemoptysis. In treatment, control it's Ki(氣). 2. The cause of Peson is in addition to Pehuh Pimo(皮毛) is demaged by heat and cold. Symptoms are alopecia, cough, sputum, fever and chill. In treatment, supply it's Ki. 3. The cause of Pero is it's Ki which is demaged by lie down for a long time or because of anxiety Sang Ryum Hueng Kum(上炎刑金). Symptoms are tachypnea, chest and back pain, cough and sputum. In treatment, supply Sinki(腎氣). 4. In correlation of Pehuh, Peson and Pero, Pehuh is progressed from Kihuh(氣虛), Peson is progressed from Pehuh and Pero is progressed from Peson. 5. The treatment of Lung disease showed by chapter Huhro(虛勞). In early stage, control it's Ki. In middle stage, supply it's Ki. The last stage, supply Sinki(腎氣).

Lab scale MF/RO system was conducted to investigate the characteristics of permeability, liquid-solid separation, and accumulation-elimination of liquid fertilizer which produced from thermophilic aerobic oxidation(TAO) system. As a result of comparison of plate-sheet type with hollow fiber type MF membrane, the permeability of hollow fiber was higher (1.2∼6 times) than plate-sheet type. Tmax was decreased gradually which related to the total solid(TS) concentration in the raw liquid fertilizer. From the pure-flux test, it is observed that most of membrane fouling was recoverable, and the inital filtration resistance of plate-sheet type was lower than hollow fiber. Remarkable accumulation of compositions of liquid fertilizer by RO membrane was investigated, and compositions of fertilizer accumulated about 3-4 times as compared with original solution, Elimination rate of solute substance in the liquid indicated very stable, except the period at final operating due to the concentration poralization, Elimination rate was proportional to the increase of the trans-membrane pressure(TMP) in the RO reactor.

최근 사용자 인터페이스의 효율에 관한 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 일반 사용자의 전문성 내지는 전문화 가능성을 기대할 수 없는 반면 정보의 자원은 급속한 속도로 증가하고 있기 때문에 지능형 멀티미디어 레퍼지터리는 멀티미디어 정보를 효율적이고 사용자의 정보 활용도를 높일 수 있도록 하는 것을 목표로 한다. 전문화된 시스템은 훈련되지 않은 사용자로 하여금 사용자와 시스템의 의미상의 차이를 줄일 수 있어야 한다. 이에 본 논문은 이러한 의미상의 차이를 최소화하기 위해 지능형 사용자 인터페이스 기술을 도입하였다. 지능형 멀티미디어 데이터 레퍼지터리를 위한 지능형 사용자 인터페이스를 위한 사람 - 컴퓨터 상호 작용 모델(Human-Computer Interaction Model)을 제시하고, 이 모델을 기반으로 한 기능 사용자 인터페이스의 프레임 워크를 제안하며, 지능형 멀티미디어 레퍼지터리 시스템을 위한 지능 사용자 인터페이스의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 기술한다. 지능 사용자 인터페이스는 User Interface Manager(UIM)와 User Model(UM)로 구성된다. UIM은 지능 사용자 인터페이스의 관리 기능을 담당하며 UM은 사용자의 행동을 저장한다. 따라서 UM은 사용자와 시스템의 의미상의 차이에서 발생하는 오류를 저장하게 된다. UM은 CBR을 기반한 결정 트리와 신경망을 사용하였다. 실험 결과는 IUI의 사용자에 대한 적응성을 보여 줄 것이다.
