Objective: Major histocompatibility complex class I chain-related A (MICA) is a stress-inducible glycoprotein that can be shed as a soluble protein. This study was conducted to determine the expression of MICA in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and examine the clinical relevance of soluble MICA (sMICA) in this disease. Methods: Immunohistochemistry and real-time PCR analyses were performed to assess the expression of MICA in 48 pairs of RCC and adjacent normal renal tissues. Serum levels of sMICA were measured in 48 RCC patients, 12 patients with benign renal tumors, and 20 healthy individuals. The correlations between sMICA levels and clinicopathological parameters were analyzed and the diagnostic performance of sMICA in RCC was evaluated. Results: RCCs exhibited elevated expression of MICA compared to adjacent normal tissues. Serum concentrations of sMICA were significantly greater in RCC patients ($348.5{\pm}32.5pg/ml$) than those with benign disease ($289.3{\pm}30.4pg/ml$) and healthy controls ($168.4{\pm}43.2pg/ml$) and significantly correlated with advanced tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, vascular invasion, and higher histological grade. Using a cut-off point of 250 pg/ml, sMICA demonstrated a specificity and sensitivity of 63.2% and 75.6%, respectively, in distinguishing between RCC and benign renal tumors. Conclusion: MICA expression is upregulated in RCC and increased serum sMICA levels predict aggressive tumor behavior. However, the applicability of sMICA alone is limited in distinguishing RCC from benign renal tumors.

The integrated electric wheel module (IEWM) with large-angle steering capability is blooming which greatly alters the conventional chassis structure over recent years. The IEWM brings challenges to the suspension system due to higher requirements, which includes 360 degrees steering, active adjustment of chassis height and posture, superior ride comfort, and compact mechanical structure. Hence, a novel double trailing arm suspension mechanical system for the aforementioned IEWM and its control strategy are studied to get better driving maneuverability, ride comfort, driving safety, and posture stability of automobiles in this paper. The 6 degree of freedom (DOF) roll model of active suspension vibration with seats and multiobjective optimization controller are constructed for vehicle posture active control to solve the difficult trade-off between suspension dynamic deflection, roll angle, and seat vertical acceleration. The controller weight coefficients are optimized by an improved genetic algorithm (IGA) method, and the fitness function in piecewise form is adopted to reduce the search range. The simulation analysis shows that the combination of IGA and a multi-objective controller can defuse the conflict of goals between different suspension performance evaluation indexes, which also improves the overall suspension performances compared with the experience adjustment method and passive suspension system. In detail, this simple optimization control strategy can reduce the vertical acceleration root mean square value (RMSV) of the left and right seat by 45 % and 11 %, respectively; the left and right tire dynamic load decreased by 13 % and 2 %, respectively; and 25 % reduction in roll angle. These performance improvements only sacrifice part of suspension dynamic deflection RMSV increase, but do not affect driving safety.

With the development of information technology, in particular, to improve the video and image processing technology, intelligent video surveillance system collected data can be used to extract the relevant information on the vehicle for life and related investigations provided for convenience. Since the acquisition by the light, angle, and the impact of weather, so that the video data is difficult to retrieve, for this problem, this paper presents a background model fusion method can effectively eliminate the adverse weather light and other factors. This algorithm can quickly and efficiently and with high accuracy to detect vehicle information.

For the trajectory tracking control of uncertain hybrid robot with fluid resistance, the matched and mismatched uncertain problem is a challenge. The matched uncertainties include joint friction, modeling error and so on. And the fluid resistance may cause the time-varying discontinuous mismatched uncertainty. Thus, the unmeasured auxiliary variables-based second-order sliding mode control with time-varying gain extended state observer for the hybrid robot is proposed. By defining unmeasured auxiliary state variables, the dynamic equation of hybrid robot with mismatched uncertainty of fluid resistance is reconstructed into a state equation with only matched uncertainty structure. To observe and compensate the lumped uncertainty including matched uncertainties, fluid resistance uncertainty and unmeasured auxiliary state variables of hybrid robot, an extended state observer is designed, which only needs the condition of bounded uncertainty change rate. Moreover, by devising the continuous adjustment rule for observer gain’s transient process, the observed error converges quickly and the initial peaking value of system state observation is reduced. To suppress the residual error of uncertainty compensation, the unmeasured auxiliary variables-based super-twisting sliding mode control algorithm is combined with the time-varying gain extended state observer, which could enhance system robustness and weaken chattering of the sliding mode control. The stability of the closed-loop system is proved by Lyapunov stability theorem. Finally, taking the hybrid robot for automobile electro-coating conveying as an example, simulations and experiments are conducted on the prototype system to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control method.
Effect of charge type of hydrogel on its dye adsorption capacity and kinetic study

Hydrogel has a wide range of applications in many fields because of its good adsorption capacity. There are many factors affecting the adsorption performance of hydrogels, among which the charge of the gel itself is crucial. This work proposes a method to detect the amount of dye adsorbed by measuring the absorbance of hydrogels. Using this method, polyacrylamide (PAM) hydrogels with different charge types were prepared, and their adsorption performance on Congo red and methylene blue dyes was investigated to elucidate the relationship between the charge carried by the hydrogel itself and the adsorption performance. Experiments show that the adsorption capacity of hydrogel for dyes is closely related to its charge, that is, the hydrogel is more likely to adsorb dye molecules with an opposite charge to the hydrogel and the adsorption behavior conforms to the Freundlich isothermal adsorption model. Taking anionic hydrogel as an example, the adsorption kinetics of methylene blue on anionic hydrogel were further studied, and the kinetic model was in accordance with the pseudo-secondary kinetic model, suggesting that a pseudo-second-order kinetic model is more suitable for the adsorption behavior of anionic hydrogels for methylene blue dye. This work helps researchers better understand the role of the charge of hydrogel in the adsorption process and helps to design more targeted hydrogels.
Comment Letters and Reporting Quality: Evidence from Financial Restatements

This study investigates the impact of comment letter reviews on reporting quality in terms of financial restatements, using comment letters from the Chinese market between 2013 and 2020. The baseline results indicate that although receiving a comment letter increases the next year's (year t + 1) restatements, it reduces later years' (year t + 2 onwards) restatements. Moreover, this effect is more pronounced among firms with lower external auditor quality, poorer information transparency, and those located in less marketized provinces. The mechanism analyses show that comment letter reviews improve financial reporting quality because of deterrent effects in the form of increased litigation risk.
Research on Security Transmission of Perceptual Hash Values Based on ECC and Digital Watermarking

In this paper, a secure method of transmitting perceptual hash is proposed based on error correcting codes (ECC) and digital watermarking, aiming at the fact that perceptual hash string used in audio authentication is easy to alter after been attacked in transmission and the need of extra channel. In this method we embed the binary perceptual hash values into the compressed audio as a digital watermark so that authentication data is dispersed. An ECC is used to pre-process perceptual hash sequence to ensure that speech signal with watermarking can be extracted watermarking information (the perceptual hash values) after been attacked. The experimental result illustrate that this method embeds information without influencing on the content. It is robust to noise and can prevent from common attack. At the same time, this method ensures the hearing transparency of audio perceptual content, the high efficiency of watermark extraction and the efficiency and security of algorithm.
