        연정가사의 형성 배경에 대하여

        김팔남 한국고시가문학회 2005 한국시가문화연구 Vol.0 No.15

This paper tries to newly call love songs between male and female in Jo-seon Dynasty <Yeon-jeong-ga-sa>, in contrast to the conventional definition, namely <Ae-jeong-ga-sa>. In addition, it aims to investigate the background of formation of these songs. Until now, there has been a strong assumption that these kind of songs had been written in late Dynasty, in that there has been not nearly made love songs because the Jo-seon Dynasty adopted Confucianism as a common moral and a political philosophy. However, I found that there have been 71 love songs through investigating the related books and materials which have been still available. On the basis of above discussions, I categorized the formation backgrond of <Yeon-jeong-ga-sa> in both early and late Jo-seon into two types. While I dealt with the general trend, that is open description of sex, in literature and art in the perspective of outside influences, I did the method of creation and narration in early love songs, and progressive emotion of female writers in the view of inside impact. Particularly, regarding the inside impact, I confirmed that <Yeon-jeong-ga-sa> was much influenced by the skill of praise in the <Mi-in-byeol-gok>, the recognization of feminism in the <Won-bu-sa> and the method of narration in the <Sa-mi-in-gok> and the <Sok-mu-in-gok>.

This research attempts to answer the following questions. (1)What are the general characteristics of high school teachers remembered and respected by their students? (2) What are the corelations of characteristics between well-liked teachers and the students who like them? (3) What acts or situations involving these well-liked teachers are most memorable to their students? These questions are transformed into hypotheses which are tested using numerical data from questonaire responses of 295 freshmen (45.5% of the whole population) at Jeonpuk National University. The results can be summarized as follows. (1) The respected teacher's methods of class control are not statistically significantly related to his age, qualification etc. (2) There are statistically significant relationshtp between the well-respected teacher's sex, major, etc. and those of the students who like him. The results of the present research give some valuable suggestioms for teacher training institutions. They are: (1) All types of teacher training institutions must emphazise liberal education. (2) In-service education must be open to all teachers. (3) Male teachers should teach male students; female teachers should teach female students. (4) Classroom teachers must be changed frequenly. (5) Gymnasiums and special rooms must be used more often in autumn. (6)Teacher training institutions must have speech training courses in their curricula.

      • 申紫霞의 文學 硏究

孫八洲 新羅大學校 1977 論文集 Vol.5 No.-

Shin Wi (pen name; Ja-ha, 1769∼1845) was one of the 'master poets' who wrote their poems in Chinese during the five hundred year period of the Yi Dynasty. He was also an outstanding calligraphist and painter. My interest in this poet has resulted in the publication of several papers dealing with his writings. For instance, "A Study on Shin Ja-ha's Dongin Nonsi Julgu" appeared in Dongak Studies of Korean Language and Literature, Vol. 3 (Dec., 1965), " A Study on Verses Commenting upon Korean Poets" in Collected Treatises, Busan Women's College, Vol.2 (March, 1975), and " A Study of Jaja's Soakbu" in Collected Treatises is Commemorating Dr. King Jong-wo's Sixtieth Birthday (Feb., 1977). This paper is another study of his literature this time attempting to explore the origin of his poetics. The first part of this paper sketches his life in brief, especially his life as a government official after he passed the Civil Service Examination at the age of thirty-one. It was noted how he successfully coped with conflicts in which different political factions struggled to gain power. The second part examines his association with his Korean and Chinese friends with a view to locating his standing in art and literature of his time. The third part divides his 4000-odd pieces in verse into five groups according to their content: a. Satirical poems : His biting satire is most typically shown in Fifty Sundry Pieces, which contained such diverse topics as the economic problems of his days, the unfair Civil Service Examination, conflicts between classes, government official's incapacity and the national character. These pieces attest his patriotism and his love of people. b. 'Romantic' poems : The fact that he wrote more poems of amorous nature than poems exhorting moral instructions shows that this popular poet loved drinking, music and the company of friends and women. The 'romantic' poems contained in his writings eloquently reveals his nature as well as his view of life. c. Dramatic poems : Twelve Pieces of Gwanguek Jeullgu came from his close association with Go Su-gwan and Kim Yong-un, both popular actors of his time. These pieces occupy a very important place in the history of Korean literature because of scarcity of documents concerning the drama and mask plays of those days. Through these pieces we have a glimpse of the theater at that time; how the actors did their make-up, what the stage looked like, what the poeple of his time thought about the drama and what the plays in general were concerned about. They also shows his deep sympathy for the actors, who had very low position in the society. d. Chinese translations of Soakbu : Sijos were translated into Chinese in order to preserve and disseminate this traditional poetical form. Together with Sijos, folk songs and popular songs of his time were included in the book, which shows again his love for people and folk literature. e. Critical poems : His Thirty-five pieces of Nonsi Jeolgu comments on the poems of other poets. Fifty poets ranging from Choi Chi-won of the Silla Dynasty to Kim Sang-Heon are given critical evaluation. By Chooosing a representative work of each poet he evaluates its standing in the history of classical literature, giving us a short hisory of Chinese poems written by Korean poets. His critical sensibility and poetical theory are also revealed. The fourth part deals with the origin of his literature. Ja-ha was familiar with the writings of such Chinese poets as Tu Fu, Li Po, Wang Wei of the Tang Period; Su Shin, Lu Yu of the Sung Period; and Wang Shin Chen of the Ching Period. He was influenced by Yi Jae Hyuon (pen name: Ik-je) and Heo Gyoen (pen name : Gyo-san). Topics and poetical expressions employed in the works of Chinese poets are compared with those in Ja-ha'a writings. Cross-cultural relations between Korea and China are also examined. Finally, his influence upon subsequent classical poets and his achievement are evaluated in order to locate his standing in the history of Korean literature.

According to the meaning of "liberation" which is taken in theology of liberation, the realm of theology of liberation is enlarged or cut down. If "liberation" is reg-arded as all kinds of endeavous to leberate people from poverties, pains and oppre-ssions, the realm of theology of liberation shall be enlarged, and most social thou-ghts in Christian theology are included in it. But the conception of "theology of liberation", ususally used in these days, was resulted from certaion objects in certain regions. "Theology of liberation" dealt with in this thesis is that which has been resulted from the background of Latin America. Lately, in Korea, arguments about ideoloigical problems have been suggested activ-ely, and accordingly discussions about theology of liberation have come about largely. But studies on theology of liberation have not come to profund depths yet in Korea. In this thasis I have tried to look for clues toward more profund studies. In 1st chapter the historical and social backgrounds of theology of liberation are outlined. In 2nd chapter the methodology of theology of liberation is outlined and criticized. In 3rd chapter the subject matters of theology of liberation are outlined and criticized.

Rapid modernization has brought the housing problems of urban area as a serious social problems. Especially the rate of housing sortage of Daego City as of the end of the year 1976 marked 54.3%, and then it was the highest points in this nation. In viewing this as problems of social welfare policy and social development, the housing problems should be solved with immediate consideration as it is the essential part of human life. Therefore, this research thesis deals with the housing plan as well as construction plan for welfare society, for which the counter measures have been suggested. The research method has been adopted by analyzing the materials and records, by making bibliographical approach, and by referring to the opinions of concerned personnel, and the result of the method is summarized as follows. 1. The design of each public housing shall be planned in a small scale for common population. Especially the small size of apartment housing and tenement housing ought to be furnished in great volume with the consideration of the effectvie using of spaces and preventing the deterioration of spaces to meet the event that the coming generations might need remodelling their houses in conjunction with the increase of income in future. 2. The housing lots should be provided sufficiently by augmenting adequate plicy for using a part of city-owned lands in low cost, and with the plan of first-purchase and after-development on the area in case of needs. 3. The policy for standardization and mass production of the design and the materials needed in the housing should be made positively for sufficient housing construction in low cost. 4. Adequate mkeasures for the development of poor residential area and the prevention of a vicious circle of forming a poor residential area by resettling people or removed people due to new city planning shall be taken at the earliest convenience. 5. Other necessary policies for the support of private construction workers, the simplificatino of housing administration, and the inducement of private investment for the housing plan should be augmented. And the amount of housing investment to be disbursed by the municipal government of Daegu city should be increased at the maximum rate. 6. The policy forthe reorganization of housing administration and expansion progam for the construction of rental houses sould be activated. And in case of the allotment of the houses constructed by the authority, the tenant charge should be alleviated at the maximum rate and the amount of redemption for which should be payed by means of a gradual redemption system.

Korea enters a new era of industrial modernization, spurred by her successive five-year economic development plans. The labor-intensive light industry that led the nation's economy in the past decades is undergoing a gradual shift to the technology-intensive heavy and chemical industry. The demand for industry-minded young technician is thereby ever mounting in number in various industrial sectors, which in turn creates many challenging issues on Civil Engineering Education. Among them, this paper deals exclusively with the curriculum of the Department of Civil Engineering Education. As the results of a trade analysis for graduates from technical high schools, it was realized that current curriculum were somewhat isolated from outside environment and found too rigid to meet the changing requirements. Needless to mention, teachers play a vital roles in the technician education. Accordingly the teacher must be qualified well not only in knowledge on the major subjects but also in practices. The improvement of current curriculum is strongly recommended to produce qualified teachers, taking into account the changing social demands. This study is very limited in terms of finance, time allowance and manpower. Accordingly the model curriculum was based on the trade analysis, social requirements and the current curriculum, and its justification was not verified by tests and broad reviews.

Recently, many techniques have been developed for efficient transmission of MPEG Video and improvement of quality of service. In this paper, we propose fixed bit rate control algorithm using neural network which protects the overflow and under flow of buffer in order to maximize the channel utilization and the picture quality of the reconstruction image. The proposed controller consists of three-layered fully connected neural network with 16 input, 6 hidden and 3 output nodes using Back Propagation algorithm. The performance of efficient and adaptive control algorithm is evaluated and compared to TM1, MPEG Ⅱ in terms of PSNR, BPP(Bit Per Pixel), BPF(Bit Per Frame), average quantizer scale factor. The results are shown that proposed method is superior to TM1 about 0.5 dB(PSNR) for Table-Tennis, 0.2 dB(PSNR) for Football images.

A convenient means of the determination of the soil properties would be to correlate it with the result of field test such as the cone penetration. But It is difficult to correct evaluation for the soil properties by the only one test at the reclaimed coastal region. In this study, the cone penentration test and seismic wave exploration are performed at the reclamed coastal regione which has the soil layers to be analyzed and the dynamic soil properties. The results obtained from this study were summarized as follows; 1) As a result of field test, the study area was found to be 3 layers. 1st layer was filled in the ground to the depth of 2∼3m and the next layer was showed the soft clay layer to 40∼45m from reclaimed layer. 3rd layer proved to be a bedrock. 2) When the cone penetration test, the cone resistance was observed very great value in the ground to the depth of 0.7m due to the result of ground compaction with the traffic load and consolidation in the nature etc. 3) As the result of study, it presented that the correlation between the cone resistance and the seismic wave velocity is distributed the only a certain range with a group. The correlation between the cone resistance and the seismic wave velocity is determined through the regression analysis. The correlation is assumed a line relationship between the cone penetration resistance and the seismic wave velocity. 4) The method of using the empirical correlations between the cone penetration test and seismic wave exploration is an effective method by which the soil properties can be decided simply. This method has limitations in application because its research and application is in the early stage. In considering the proper engineering factors, however, it can be used efficiently in ground investigation and design.

Shin Wi (pen name: Ja-ha, 1769∼1845) was one of the 'master poets' who wrote their poems in Chinese during the five hundred year period of the Yi Dynasty. He was also an outstanding calligraphist and painter. In the preface to Collected Poems of Shin Ja-ha, Kim Taek-yeong, the editor, says of the origin and characteristic features of Jaha's poetry as follows: Su Shih (1036∼1101) was the poet's master. He was also indebted to Hsu Ling (1507∼1583), Wang Wei(1699∼762) and Lu Yu(1125∼1210). At times rapid, rugged and full of fantasy, his poems soon displays their fine, simple and flat qualities. They employ a thousand feelings and natural aspects so that the reader is dazzled and intoxicated by the brilliant arrangement of dancing words. Indeed the poet was the greatest master of everlasting ages that was ever soaring with the wings of a rare genius. Jaha left about four thousand pieces of verse behind him. among the representative works are forty piece Sookbu in which Korean sijos were translated into Chinese, thirty-five piece Verses Commenting upon Korean Poets in which Chinese poems written by Koreans were evaluated in the form of verse, fifty piece Sundry Poems which has been favorably compared with Po Chu-i's (77 2∼846) 'New yueh-fu', twenty piece Post Chiu rhyu Poems, an imitation of Wang Shih-chen's (1634∼1711) work in the same title, and twelve piece Gwangeuk-jeolgu, a valuable document on the drama and actors of his days. In Collected Treaties Commemorating Dr. Kim Jong-wo's Sixtieth Birthday (Feb. 1977) is carried "A Study of Jaha's Soakbu" by the present author. The study was based on the twenty-three pieces of Soakbu included in Kim Taek-yeong's Collected Poems. Recently, this author had the fortune of obtaining sixteen-volume Gyeongdang Complete Works that contained the complete forty pieces of Soakbu. This paper deals with all the forty pieces in Vomume X, examining them in matters of form and content and analyzing the theories behind the poet's translation of sijos.
