        패혈증의 경과에 따른 혈중 스테로이드와 Nitric Oxide의 연관성

        연구배경: 패혈증에서 Nitric oxide 스테로이드 호르몬은 혈역학적 변화와 염증반응에 관여하는데 이 두 인자는 서로 상관성이 있는 것으로 알려지고 있다. 하지만 실제 환자에서 서로의 상관성이나 임상적 의의는 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 방법: 패혈증 환자 26예와 대조군 14예를 대상으로 혈중 총 NO와 혈중 코티졸 농도를 측정하였고 이어서 제 3, 5, 7병일에도 연속적으로 측정을 하였다. 결과: 패혈증 환자군에서 초기 혈중 코티졸 및 총 NO 농도는 대조군에 비하여 유의하게 증가하였고 경증 패혈증에 비하여 중증 패혈증 환자군에서 유의하게 높았다. 초기 혈중 총 NO의 농도는 APACHE II 점수, 정맥혈 lactate 농도와 상관성이 있었다. 패혈증의 시간의 경과에 따라 혈중 NO 농도는 제 1병일, 제 5병일, 제 7병일에 혈중 코티졸의 농도와 유의한 상관성이 있었다. 결론: 패혈증 환자들에서 혈중 NO와 코티졸 농도는 증가되어 있었으며, 경과에 따라 서로 유의한 상관성이 지속되었다. 상호작용기전에 대하여는 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것이다. Background: The nitric oxide (NO) released by inducible NO synthase (iNOS) plays an important role in the pathophysiology of sepsis. Corticosteroids also play a role in the hemodynamic and inflammatory reactions in sepsis. Both have been shown to have a relationship theoretically, but their correlation and clinical impacts have rarely been evaluated. Methods: 26 patients with sepsis and 14 healthy controls were enrolled in this study. The initial random plasma total NO and the serum cortisol levels were measured. The same measurements were serially carried out on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th days. Results: The initial total plasma levels of NO and cortisol were higher in the patients with sepsis than in the healthy controls. The total NO levels were higher in patients with severe sepsis than in the those with mild sepsis. There was a correlation between the total NO and cortisol level throughout the study. Conclusion: In patients with sepsis, the levels of plasma NO and cortisol were well correlated during the first week of sepsis, which suggests an interrelationship. However, the clinical and pathogenetic implications await further evaluation. (Tuberc Respir Dis 2007; 62: 308-313)

        첨착 활성탄을 활용한 산성가스 제거 연구

        In this study, the acid gas adsorption characteristics of impregnated AC, which increased the chemical activity of AC and improved selective adsorption for specific components, were studied using lap-scale experimental devices. The three types of AC (general, KOH and K₂CO₃ impregnated) were identified by the analysis of SEM, BET and TGA. It was found that the surface area and the mass loss rate of AC differed depending on the type of impregnation contents. Subsequently, Three types of AC were evaluated for adsorption performance according to temperature. In addition, 20 wt% KOH impregnated AC conducted adsorption and breakthrough point of SO₂ and NO₂ gases. The breakthrough point of SO₂ and NO₂ is 15 and 7 minutes, respectively. The results of the experiment shown th t the adsorption efficiency of the impregnated AC was higher than that of the AC and was proportional to the temperature.

        The author developed a method of seperation and determination of Auramine infected in Danmuji to obtainan useful datum for health. The ethanol-water phase (5.5 v/v) solvent was found most effective for extracting Auramine. Spectrophotometry is applicable for the most effective determination of Aiuramine. The recovery rate was up to 98.8% in the determination.

      • 휴대용 응급의료 시스템 설계에 관한 연구

        In modern society, development of medical technology has extended the human life span. However, if has also caused some side-effects. Mostly old people who live alone are not available the medical service quickly when they are in emergency situations. Moreover Heart related diseases as well are rapidly increasing with aging. This study proposes the Emergency medical alarm system. This system measures the physiological signals such as ECG(electrocardiogram), Temperature, and motion data, analyzes those data automatically, and sends the urgent message to the Emergency Medical Center and to their family. There are two main parts in the system. In the first part, physiological data acquisition part, the troublesome addition and deletion of body signals on existing proposed systems have been supplemented, which led to the modulized production by means of ECG sensor module, temperature sensor module, acceleration sensor module. The other part is mobile unit, which includes signal processing and transmission functions. And Bluetooth allows two parts to communicate with each other. Data that are processed in the mobile unit are stored in the PC database through the WLAN using TCP/IP protocol.

      • 신라대학교 주변 백양산의 동물상

        To study fauna of Silla University located in Mt. Baek-yang, we conducted six surveys from 29 May 2011 to 28 April 2012. We found five phyla 41 orders 197 species of animals inhabiting in this area: four phyla 27 orders 163 species of invertebrates and in vertebrates one order six species of fishes, three orders nine species of amphibians and reptiles, six orders 14 species of aves, and four orders five species of mammals. Of these species, some Korean endemic species were included: a fish of Rhodeus uyekii in a pond near main gate of this university, a frog of Rana coreana in a creek near a dormitory, and a rabbit of Lepus coreanus and a water deer of Hydropotes inermis in a grass region near a main stadium. A kind of hawk, Falco tinnunculus as a natural monument (animal) of no. 323-8, was observed on a building of medical and life science. A blue frog of Hyla japonica as a variation was found near a spring resort. Therefore, this area is considered an ecologically important area having a high animal diversity.

In this paper we are to analyze the traffic on the network, as the number of simultaneously connected users increase.

      • 效率的인 在庫管理시스템에 관한 硏究 : JIT시스템을 중심으로

        In this study, so as to cope with various surroundings, for example, economic and technological environments, diversified tastes of consumers, etc., which are changing very rapidly, and to reinforce international competitiveness by reducing production cost and improving productivity through efficient inventory management, the authors have briefly examined traditional inventory management system and MRP system and have deeply investigated JIT system theoretically. It can be said that MRP system is derived from the theory that traditional inventory management, which do not consider changeable circumstances of today`s manufacturing, is inefficient. On the contrary, JIT system is a peculiar one which is properly established on Japanese industrial environment. MRP system and JIT system, which were devised to result in efficient industrial management by minimizing inventory material and improving productivity, are more or less similar in basic conception and production management. Considering management cycle, MRP system has advantages in planning and controlling, and JIT system has advantages in doing. So the disadvantages of MRP system in shop floor management can be lessened by utilizing JIT system, and those of JIT system can be reduced by utilizing the advantages of MRP system. JIT system, which improves quality and reduces wastes by diminishing the waste of materials, enhancing labor productivity, lessening safty stock, and bringing about rapid feedback on defective goods, is suitable for repetitive production. MRP system is suitable for nonrepetitive manufacturing, and JIT system, if joined to MRP system, can be applicable to semirepetitive production. In this thesis, the authors have examined inventory management system theoretically. In the future, through emperical investigation, efficient models of inventory management system, which are suitable for Korean industrial environment and production companies, should be invented.

These days, a whole man education can come from desirable personality education. The meanings of personality are several kinds according to theorists of personality. If we summary of personality meanings we may lost the true meaning of theorists. The meaning of personality is core of the personality how to interpret the behavior by theorists of personality. The structure of personality is the ways of interpretation about development and change of a man. There are many kinds of elements in personality that theorists choose in order to interpretation of personality of man. We must know the elements of personality to guide undesirable the behaviors and thought of students.

      • Wire Saw 슬러리로부터 Si와 SiC의 선택적 회수

        This study was focused on the recovery of Si and SiC from wire saw slurry in wire saw slicing process. In order to separate Si and SiC from wire saw slurry, alkali dissolution method was used and then Na₂O showed superior dissolution property of Si. At this time, SiC was separated as powder from alkali aqueous solution. Si was dissolved as a liquid in alkali aqueous solution. After removing SiC powder, the powder was obtained by drying alkali aqueous solution and then it's XRD analysis showed that it was the water glass (Na₂SiO₃).
