        Objectives : To observe the effect of acupuncture treatment and western medical treatment on frozen shoulder patients. Methods : 39 voluntary patients were randomly assigned to the Eastern treatment group(E group, n=22) and the Western treatment group(W group, n=17). The E group received acupuncture treatment on LI15, TE14, GB21 and Master Dong's acupuncture points, Shin-gwan and Gyun-joong, twice a week for 4 weeks. The W group received suprascapular nerve block, subacromial injection and trigger point injection, twice a week for 4 weeks. Both groups were instructed to practice self exercise during their daily lives. Evaluations were made before treatment and after treatment using Constant Shoulder Assessment(CSA), Shoulder Pain and Disability Index(SPADI) and the patient's satisfaction concerning the treatment was measured by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS). The obtained data were analyzed and compared. Results : The E group showed significant improvement(p<0.05) according to the CSA and SPADI. The patient's satisfaction scored 5.67 on a scale of 10. The W group showed significant improvement(p<0.05) according to the CSA and SPADI. The patient's satisfaction scored 7.73. But the difference between the two groups were insignificant according to CSA and SPADI. Conclusion : Both acupuncture and nerve block treatment significantly improved frozen shoulder. But the difference of the two treatments was insignificant.

      • 임신 40주와 출산 후 6주에 있는 20대 임산부 보행의 역학적 특성 비교

        본 연구는 임신 40주와 출산후 6주간에 있는 임산부의 보행 동작의 특정을 규명함으로써 이와 관련된 연구자들에게 기초자료를 제공하고자 실시하였다. 이를 위해 임신 4주에 있는 임산부를 대상으로 1차 실험을 실시하였으며 동일한 대상자를 출산후 6주에 2차로 실험하여 자료를 수집하였다. 디지타이징 시 오차를 최소화하고 인체관절점의 분별을 위해 21개의 반사마커를 부착하였다. 10m의 보행주로를 걷는 동안 두 대의 비디오카메라를 이용하여60Hz로 자료를 수집하였으며 동시에 100Hz 지면반력자료를 수집하였다.수집되어진 자료는 DLT 방법을 사용하여 분석하였으며 이의 분석에 Kwon3d 프로그램을 활용하였다. 분석결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 임신 40주와 출산 후 6주의 보행 시 지지시간과 스윙시간의 비율이 다르게 나타났으며 보폭과 보간, 활보장은 임신 40주에서 더 큰 값을 보였다. 상체 전경각 역시 임신 40주에서 더 큰 값을 보였다. 힙관절, 무릎관절, 발목관절각도는 S1이 출산후 6주에서 큰 값을 보인반면 S2는 출산전후에 큰 변화를 보이지 않다. 2. 상하지면반력의 경우 FP1과 FP2는 임신 40주보다는 출산 6주에서 큰값을 보였지만 FP3는 임신 40주에서 보다 큰값을 보이고 있었다. 전후지면반력의 경우 출산전과 후 모두 Fy2에서 보다 큰 값을 보이고 있었다. This Study was to investigate kinematical characteristic comparison of the gait pregnant 40weeks and after delivery 6weeks 20´s women and provide the basic data. To accomplish this study, in the first, carry out an experiment with the pregnant women in the pregnant 40weeks on the videotape, and than the second, make an experiment with the kinematic data. Kinematic data were filtered with a low-pass, fourth-order Butterworth filter with an effective cut off frequency of 6Hz. The conclusions were drawn as follows; 1. Floor contact Periods(stance and swing rate) were differed from before and after the delivery and a pregnant 40 weeks was greater than after delivery 6 weeks in the step, width, stride. Also, a pregnant 40 weeks was greater than after delivery 6 weeks in the front angular. And the other angular components were represented similar pattern. 2. In the vertical load, delivery 6 weeks was grater than a pregnant 40 weeks in the FP1(first peak) and FP2(valley). And FP3(second peak)was represent that a pregnant 40 weeks was greater than delivery 6 weeks. Also, in the horizontal shear, Fy2(progressional force)was greater than Fy1(breaking force) about time of the delivery.

        임신 7 개월 이후 임산부 보행의 역학적 분석

        The purpose of this study was analyzed the effect of kinematical and kinetical factors of lower extremity of form change in the cause of growth an unborn child during in pregnancy. Three pregnant women were selected from pregnant 24 weeks as subjects. Each subjects were required to walk with usual walking speed. Cinematographic and GRF data were collected during walking, and the kinematical and kinetical variables were calculated using Kwon3d. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn : 1. Step width and Step length Step width according to the period of pregnancy was gradually small but step length was gadually great. 2. Angle of lower extremity The angle of hip, knee and ankle was differed pregnancy on 9 month and other time. 3. Ground reaction force In the three part of ground reaction force, pregnancy on 9 month was most greater than other time.

      • Plerocercoid의 표피 및 그 관련조직의 구조에 관한 연구

        The tegument of the plerocercoid stage of Spirometra sp. from Natrix tigrina was examined by electron microscopy to determine whether the most anterior level was similar to the trunk portion of the integumental structure. Significant differences were observed in the shape and arrangement of microtriches, distribution of mitochondria and the different types of bodies in the tegument. A few and short microtriches were observed at the most anterior portion, while many microtriches with long and broad proximal portion were arranged densely in the trunk portion. Many mitochondria are distributed just beneath the microtricheal layer in the anterior portion, but they were observed on the basement layer in the trunk. In the tegument of the anterior portion the most cytoplasmic bodies were showed round and oval vesicular shape, while they were rod-shape in trunk portion. The basement layer of the trunk portion was thicker than that of the anterior portion and the location of muscular layers was replaced with circular and longitudinal muscle in the anterial and trunk portion.

        유명산의 식물상 및 산림군락분류에 관한 연구

        2002년 3월부터 2003년 10월까지 유명산 자연휴양림을 대상으로 식물상과 산림군락구조를 조사한 결과, 관속식물이 98과 331속 570종 1아종 81변종 4품종 2교잡종으로 총 658종류로 나타났으며, 한국특산식물은 10과 14속 13종 2변종 1교잡종 총 16종류. 희귀 및 멸종위기식물은 9과 10속 11종 총 11종류, 귀화식물은 12과 22속 28종 총 28종류로 나타났다. 산림군락은 신갈나무-철쭉군목, 신갈나무-생강나무군단, 소나무-산거울군락, 잣나무-주름조개풀군락, 물푸레나무-신갈나무군락, 층층나무-신갈나무군락, 굴참나무-신갈나무군락, 싸리-신갈나무군락으로 전체 1군목, 1군단, 6군락이 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. The study was carried out to investigate the flora and community classification of forest vegetation in Mt. Yumyeong from March, 2002 to October, 2003. As a result of that, the vascular plants were 98 families, 331 genera, 570 species. 1 subspecies, 81 varieties, 4 formae, 2 hybrid, 658 taxa in all. Korean endemic plants were 10 families, 14 genera, 13 species, 2 variaties, 1 hybrid. 16 taxa in all ;, rare and endangered plants were 9 families, 10 genera. 11 species, 11 taxa in all ; naturalized plants were 12 families, 22 genera, 28 species, 28 taxa in all. The forest vegetation was classified into 1 order, 1 alliance. 6 communities : Rhododendro - Quercetalia mongolicae (Kim, 1990) Lindero - Quercion mongolicae (Kim, 1990) A. Carex humilis var. nana - Pinus densiflora Community B. Oplismenus undulatifolius - Pinus koraiensis Community C. Fraxinius rhynchophylla - Quercus mongolica Community D.       • Up-regulated transforming growth factor β–inducible gene h3 in rheumatoid arthritis mediates adhesion and migration of synoviocytes through αvβ3 integrin: Regulation by cytokines

        <B>Objective</B><P>To delineate the expression of transforming growth factor β–inducible gene h3 (βIG-H3) in rheumatoid synovitis and to determine the regulatory role of βIG-H3 in the adhesion and migration of fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS).</P><B>Methods</B><P>Synovial tissue was obtained from patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) during joint replacement surgery, and FLS were isolated using enzymatic treatment. Immunohistochemical staining was performed to show the expression of βIG-H3 within rheumatoid synovium. Synthesis of βIG-H3 from FLS was determined by semiquantitative reverse transcription–polymerase chain reaction, Western blot analysis, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Cell adhesion and migration assays were performed using the YH18 peptide in the fourth fas-1 domain of βIG-H3 and function-blocking antibodies to integrins.</P><B>Results</B><P>Expression of βIG-H3 was up-regulated in RA synovial tissue compared with synovial tissue from patients with osteoarthritis. FLS isolated from RA synovial tissue constitutively produced βIG-H3, which was up-regulated by transforming growth factor β1, interleukin-1β, and tumor necrosis factor α. Although FLS expressed a variety of integrins, βIG-H3 mediated adhesion and migration of FLS through interaction with αvβ3 integrin. Cytokines failed to affect the βIG-H3–mediated adhesion. However, migration of FLS guided by βIG-H3 was enhanced by interferon-γ and platelet-derived growth factor type BB. The YH18 peptide in the fourth fas-1 domain of βIG-H3 inhibited adhesion and migration in a dose-dependent manner.</P><B>Conclusion</B><P>The results suggest that βIG-H3, which is abundantly expressed in RA synovial tissue, plays a regulatory role in chronic destructive inflammation through the modulation of the adhesion and migration of FLS. This finding indicates the relevance of βIG-H3 and αvβ3 integrin–interacting motifs as potential therapeutic targets in this disease.</P>

        In this study, temperature and humidity for one year were measured in the central area of Gwangju and compared with the meteorological data for analysis. A total of 16 points of high-rise area, temperature and humidity were measured using real-time measuring equipment. As a result, the largest temperature difference was observed in the season with the highest temperature such as winter<spring=autumn<summer and the humidity of the city by season in the temperature difference in the city center of the weather station by season. was higher than that of the meteorological station. This shows that the heat generated in the city does not go out and is stagnant. As a result of the measurement, it is judged that it is due to the difference in wind speed due to the airflow disturbance caused by the increase in the number of buildings.
