A simple and efficient method has been developed for Knoevenagel condensation between aldehydes or ketones and active methylene group by stirring in methylene chloride at 60 ${^{\circ}C}$ under heterogeneous conditions using silica supported ammonium acetate. The products are obtained in excellent yields and are in a state of high purity. The structures of the products were confirmed by IR, $^1H$ NMR and mass spectral data and comparison with authentic samples available commercially.

In the present work, the effect of the gate-to-drain capacitance (Cgd on the noise performance of a symmetric tied-gate In 0.52AI 0.48As/In 0.53Ga 0.47As double-gate HEMT is studied using an accurate charge control based approach. An analytical expression for the gate-to-drain capacitance is obtained. In terms of the intrinsic noise sources and the admittance parameters (Y 11 and Y 21 which are obtained incorporating the effect of C gd, the various noise performance parameters including the Minimum noise figure and the Minimum Noise Temperature are evaluated. The inclusion of gate-to-drain capacitance is observed to cause significant reduction in the Minimum Noise figure and Minimum Noise Temperature especially at low values of drain voltage, thereby, predicting better noise performance for the device.

Viglino introduced the family of C-compact spaces. The concept of compactness modulo an ideal was introduced by Newcomb. Gupta and Noiri in- vestigated the concept of C-compactness modulo an ideal. Agrawal generalized C-compact spaces by using α-open set and named them as C-α-compact spaces. In the present paper, we study the concept of C-α-compactness modulo an ideal which generalizes C-α-compactness and C-compactness modulo an ideal and term it as C-α-(τ)-compact space. We also characterize some of its fundamental prop- erties.

A solvent-free procedure is developed for the regeneration of carbonyl compounds from aldoximes or ketoximes by grinding at room temperature and from hydrazone, phenylhydrazone or semicarbazone derivatives under microwave irradiation using dioxane-dibromide/SiO2. Products are obtained in excellent yields and are in a state of high purity.

Ozone in Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics: A Review
Monika Tandan,Sumit Gupta,Piyush Tandan 대한예방치과학회 2012 International Journal of Clinical Preventive Denti Vol.8 No.1
Objective: To enhance the knowledge about use of ozone in dentistry particularly in the field of conservative dentistry and endodontics. Methods: A Pubmed literature search with specific indexing terms and hand search was made. The authors assessed after reading the abstracts and hand searching the reference lists of the retrieved publications. After interpretation only studies relevant to conservative dentistry and endodontics were included in the review. Results: Ozone has a high oxidation potential and has antimicrobial properties against bacteria, viruses, fungi and protozoa. It has been shown to stimulate remineralization of carious teeth. It can also be used for the eradication of microorganisms from the root canal system. Ozone therapy presents a potential for an atraumatic, biologically based treatment for conditions encountered in conservative dentistry and endodontics. Conclusion: Ozone can be used in remineralizing of dental caries and as root canal disinfectant.
NEW FORMS OF COMPACTNESS IN BITOPOLOGICAL SPACES
MONIKA GAUR,M.K. GUPTA 장전수학회 2021 Proceedings of the Jangjeon mathematical society Vol.24 No.4
The aim of the present paper is to introduce some new types of pairwise compactness in bitopological spaces. In this paper we define pair- wise ρL-compactness and pairwise σL-compactness. We study some of their properties and also prove that these two compactness are the strong forms of pairwise compactness modulo an ideal.
Dimension reduction and classification in ECG signal interpretation using FA & PCA: A comparison
VARUN GUPTA,MONIKA MITTAL 장전수학회 2018 Proceedings of the Jangjeon mathematical society Vol.21 No.4
Electrocardiogram (ECG) is the electrical activity of the heart. It consists of P-wave, QRS complex and T-wave. Each beat shows electrical impulse propagation in the heart of the body. Due to higher dimension of ECG signal, its analysis needs dimension reduction tech- niques for pre-processing of the data. In this paper, authors proposed Factor Analysis (FA) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for re- ducing dimension of the ECG signal. The choice of its usage depends on problem which is clearly known and specied. Physionet ECG data- base (MIT-BIH long term ECG database, Ventricular Tachyarrhythmia, AHA(American Heart Association) Database) and real time ECG data- base has been used in this paper for checking detector performance using FA and PCA. PCA gave better results than FA. SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) is also checked and calculated that is 93.25 dB and 91.25 dB for PCA and FA respectively. Dierent work proposed by dierent authors on ECG signal classification has been compared.
The Role of Investor Behavioral Biases in Investment Decisions
Tarika Singh,Monika Gupta 한국유통과학회 2015 유통과학연구 Vol.13 No.11
Purpose – This study is an effort to assess the role of behavioral biases in investment decision making, specifically for mutual funds, and the moderating role of the investor. Individual investment behavior is concerned with choices about purchasing various securities. However, behavioral finance disputes the concept of perfect rationality and identifies psychological factors and their impact on decision-making. Research design, data, and methodology – A survey questionnaire was designed and used to collect responses using a judgmental sampling technique from 290 investors in the Gwalior Region. Cronbach’s Alpha, factor analysis, and linear regression were all used to test the influence of behavioral biases on investment decision. Results – We found that the behavioral biases have a positive impact on investment decisions. Conclusions – This study’s results identified three factors influencing investor behavior(rationale, investment skills, and profit making) and four factors influencing investor decisions (profit maker, market analysis, investment plan, seller). The overall results of the study also show that there is no significant relationship between investor behavior and investment decisions by gender in the market.
