The introduction of muscle relaxants was an epoch making event in the development of clinical anesthesia and their use has hecame essential to anesthesia practice. Vecuronium, one of the newest muscle relaxants, many advantages; it is .apid acting, non-accumulating, has minimals side reactions and is promptly antagonized by anticholinesterases. However, its pharmacological effect, like other conventional muscle relaxants depends upon the dose and is influenced br many factors including body temperature, blood flow, interaction with other drugs, antibiotics, diuretics and so forth, To obtain a dose·response relationship which is important for clinical use, the effect of the vecuronium in various doses on the neuromuscular block in rabbits was investigated. The results were as follows. 1) In the vecuronium 0.025 mg/kg group, maximal twitch depression was varied between 75 to 92% with a mean value of 84,9%. The spontaneous recovery index was 141.0 seconds (2.35 min). 2) In the vecuranium 7.75 mg/kg group, thmean maximum twitch depression and spontaneous recovery index were 98.4% and 218.6 seconds (3.64 min.) respectively. 3) In the vecuronium 7.1 mg/kg group, maximum twitch depression was 100% and the spontaneous recovery index was markedly prolonged to 627.8 seconds (10.35 min).

국내은행들의 점포전략에 관한 연구

경제위기 극복을 위한 금융산업의 구조조정이 본격적으로 진행되고 있다. 국내은행들은 금융환경변화에 적극적으로 대응해 나가는 한편, 내부적으로는 부실자산 축소 ·인력감축 등 수익 및 비용 구조를 개선하기 위해 다양한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 이 중에서도 적자점포의 통폐합 및 이전, 점포소형화, 점포신설 억제 등 코스트 절감을 위한 점포 리스트럭처링 작업이 대형 시중은행을 중심으로 강도높게 실시될 전망이다. 이러한 상황인데도 불구하고 우리나라의 은행점포전략에 대한 연구는 거의 없다는 점이다. 이와같은 상황하에서 본 연구의 목적은 첫째, 전문 ·특화 delivery system과 동해은행의 사례를 분석하고 둘째로, 국내은행의 점포전략 수립시 참조할수 있는 시사점 및 향후 연구방향에 대해 언급하였다.

Daegu city also has built EXCO(Daegu exhibition & convention center) in 2001 to develop the exhibition and convention industry. The purposes of this study are as follows; 1. To investigate the current situation and performance of EXCO 2. To analyze the necessity and expected effects of EXCO expansion. 3. To search for ideas and suggestions to spur the development of the Daegu-Kyung Buk exhibition and convention industry.

For these reasons, the purpose of this study(Construction Safety Management) is two-part. : One is showing the basic items composed of prequalification in Construction Safety Management, and the other is improving the selection method to meet the owner's needs including a Contractor's Safety Management Performance.

Background/Aims: This study was designed to evaluated the effects of electroacupuncture on the sphincter of Oddi (SO) motility in humans and to correlate the manometric findings with plasma cholecystokinin (CCK) levels. Methods: Eleven patients (M: F= 5: 6) who had various kinds of biliary disorders were enrolled. SO motility was monitored with a conventional low-compliant continuously perfused technique using ERCP (n=9) or percutaneous transhepatic cholangioscope (n=2). After baseline monitoring for phasic wave contractions of SO, electroacupuncture was applied at a specific acupoint, GB 34, in these 11 patients. A nonspecific acupoint 5 cm away from GB 34 was selected as a control. Manometric parameters of SO were also checked in 6 subjects during stimulation of the control acupoint. CCK plasma levels were measured during the time course of electroacupuncture stimulation. Result: All the manometric parameters including the basal pressure of SO, amplitude, frequency and duration of phasic wave contraction of SO were significantly decreased (p< 0.05) during electroacupuncture stimulation. The inhibition of SO contractility was accompanied by increased CCK plasma levels. After removal of electroacupuncture stimulation, restoration of amplitude and duration to basal condition were noted. A tendency towards the return of SO contractility was also observed in basal pressure and frequency. Stimulation of the control acupoint, however, did not affect the SO contractility and plasma CCK levels. Conclusions: Electroacupuncture stimulation of acupoint GB 34 showed reversible inhibition of SO contraction in humans. We speculate that the response of SO to electroacupuncture stimulation may be mediated by some neurohormonal mechanisms including CCK release. <P>Nano-scale Pt particles are often reported to be more electrochemically active and stable in a fuel cell if properly displaced on support materials; however, the factors that affect their activity and stability are not well understood. We applied first-principles calculations and experimental measurements to well-defined model systems of N-doped graphene supports (N-GNS) to reveal the fundamental mechanisms that control the catalytic properties and structural integrity of nano-scale Pt particles. DFT calculations predict thermodynamic and electrochemical interactions between N-GNS and Pt nanoparticles in the methanol oxidation reaction (MOR) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Moreover, the dissolution potentials of the Pt nanoparticles supported on GNS and N-GNS catalysts are calculated under acidic conditions. Our results provide insight into the design of new support materials for enhanced catalytic efficiency and long-term stability.</P>

Global Big Data Analysis Exploring the Determinants of Application Ratings: Evidence from the Google Play Store

Purpose - This paper empirically investigates the predictors and main determinants of consumers’ ratings of mobile applications in the Google Play Store. Using a linear and nonlinear model comparison to identify the function of users’ review, in determining application rating across countries, this study estimates the direct effects of users’ reviews on the application rating. In addition, extending our modelling into a sentimental analysis, this paper also aims to explore the effects of review polarity and subjectivity on the application rating, followed by an examination of the moderating effect of user reviews on the polarity-rating and subjectivity-rating relationships. Design/methodology - Our empirical model considers nonlinear association as well as linear causality between features and targets. This study employs competing theoretical frameworks - multiple regression, decision-tree and neural network models - to identify the predictors and main determinants of app ratings, using data from the Google Play Store. Using a cross-validation method, our analysis investigates the direct and moderating effects of predictors and main determinants of application ratings in a global app market. Findings - The main findings of this study can be summarized as follows: the number of user’s review is positively associated with the ratings of a given app and it positively moderates the polarity-rating relationship. Applying the review polarity measured by a sentimental analysis to the modelling, it was found that the polarity is not significantly associated with the rating. This result best applies to the function of both positive and negative reviews in playing a word-of-mouth role, as well as serving as a channel for communication, leading to product innovation. Originality/value - Applying a proxy measured by binomial figures, previous studies have predominantly focused on positive and negative sentiment in examining the determinants of app ratings, assuming that they are significantly associated. Given the constraints to measurement of sentiment in current research, this paper employs sentimental analysis to measure the real integer for users’ polarity and subjectivity. This paper also seeks to compare the suitability of three distinct models - linear regression, decision-tree and neural network models. Although a comparison between methodologies has long been considered important to the empirical approach, it has hitherto been underexplored in studies on the app market.
