        This study is to choose the most proper model for AGV Throughout simulation of behavior of suspension to reduce trial and error because there is no AGV treating heavy weight at harbor loading and unloading at home. Therefore, we estimate the vibration modes of the various suspensions applied to AGV, which is over 75 ton included the weight of two containers using the Matlab in the case of G and 5G, one of the simulation programs.

        Case Report : The Use of Single-pass Albumin Dialysis to Correct Severe Hyperbilirubinemia in Acute Hepatitis A

        In cases of acute liver failure or acute or chronic liver failure, extracorporeal albumin dialysis utilizing a Molecular Adsorbent Recirculating System has been used to treat liver failure and to reduce serum total bilirubin concentrations as a bridge therapy until either liver transplantation or spontaneous recovery. However, the procedure is expensive and is not easily administered in clinical practice. Recently, single pass albumin dialysis (SPAD) using continuous renal replacement therapy was introduced, but information is scarce regarding its efficacy in controlling serum bilirubin. The authors report a case of acute hepatitis A, in which SPAD was performed to correct severe hyperbilirubinemia.

        The product information is defined as the information that is obtained in the whole life cycle of a product from design and manufacturing to marketing and it carries out the important role under the changeful industrial environment. It is necessary to use computers for efficient product data sharing. But, in practice, because of various product data types and heterogeneous computing environment, it is difficult to share the product information among different computer systems. This paper presents the methodology for sharing the product information without a hitch in heterogeneous computing environment by using the international standard of the product information ISO-10303 STEP and CORBA.

      • Thermal decomposition and recovery behaviors of layered gadolinium hydroxychloride.

        <P>The thermal behavior of gadolinium hydroxychloride (Gd(2)(OH)(5)Cl·nH(2)O, LGdH) has been closely studied to provide the important factors that should be considered for its high temperature applications. Combined analyses of thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimetry-mass spectrometry (TG-DSC-MS) showed that, under atmospheric air with a considerable amount of water, the decomposition of LGdH to Gd(2)O(3) is completed at 1050 °C. However, in either dry air or Ar gas, the transformation continued up to around 1300 °C. Thus, the thermal decomposition of LGdH was more influenced by H(2)O than by O(2). FT-IR spectra and X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns were used to study LGdHs calcined at high temperatures (up to at least 600 °C). Calcined LGdH's ability to intercalate anions into the interlayer space could be recovered by the reconstruction of intralayer structure through rehydration and rehydroxylation. These processes were significantly accelerated at elevated temperatures. The recovery behavior of LGdH was examined in different anionic solutions at different temperatures.</P>

      • Monatomic Chemical-Vapor-Deposited Graphene Membranes Bridge a Half-Millimeter-Scale Gap

        <P>One of the main concerns in nanotechnology is the utilization of nanomaterials in macroscopic applications without losing their extreme properties. In an effort to bridge the gap between the nano- and macroscales, we propose a clever fabrication method, the inverted floating method (IFM), for preparing freestanding chemical-vapor-deposited (CVD) graphene membranes. These freestanding membranes were then successfully suspended over a gap a half-millimeter in diameter. To understand the working principle of IFM, high-speed photography and white light interferometry were used to characterize and analyze the deformation behaviors of the freestanding graphene membranes in contact with a liquid during fabrication. Some nanoscale configurations in the macroscopic graphene membranes were able to be characterized by simple optical microscopy.       • Tristetraprolin regulates expression of VEGF and tumorigenesis in human colon cancer

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Tristetraprolin (TTP) is an AU‐rich element‐binding protein that regulates mRNA stability. Here, we report that TTP suppress the growth of human colon cancer cells both <I>in vivo</I> and <I>in vitro</I> by regulating of the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). TTP protein expression in human colonic tissues was markedly decreased in colonic adenocarcinoma compared with in normal mucosa and adenoma. VEGF expression was higher in colonic adenocarcinoma than in normal mucosa and adenoma. Specific inhibition of TTP expression by RNA‐interference increased the expression of VEGF in cultured human colon cancer cells, and TTP overexpression markedly decreased it. In addition, elevated expression of TTP decreased the expression level of luciferase linked to a 3′ terminal AU‐rich element (ARE) of VEGF mRNA. Colo320/TTP cells overexpressing TTP grew slowly <I>in vitro</I> and became tumors small in size when xenografted <I>s.c</I> into nude mice. These findings demonstrate that TTP acts as a negative regulator of VEGF gene expression in colon cancer cells, suggesting that it can be used as novel therapeutic agent to treat colon cancer.</P>

      • Bioactivity-guided isolation and chemical characterization of antiproliferative constituents from morel mushroom (<i>Morchella esculenta</i>) in human lung adenocarcinoma cells

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P> <I>Morchella esculenta</I> (Morchellaceae), one of the most widely appreciated wild edible mushrooms, has demonstrated antitumor activity both <I>in vivo</I> and <I>in vitro</I>. However, the molecular basis underlying its antitumor activity has not yet been elucidated. In this study, we examined the biological effects of the MeOH extract of <I>M. esculenta</I> fruiting bodies on four human lung adenocarcinoma cell lines. Bioactivity-guided fractionation of the MeOH extract followed by chemical investigation of its most cytotoxic hexane-soluble fraction led to the isolation of eight compounds (<B>1</B> −<B>8</B>), including three fatty acids and five sterols. This is the first report of the isolation of compounds <B>1</B> and <B>3</B>–<B>7</B> from <I>M. esculenta</I>.         말기 신부전증 환자에서 혈액투석과 지속성 외래 복막투석의 시작이 혈압에 미치는 영향

        N/A Studies describing the effects on blood pressure control by hemodialysis(HD) or continuous amulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD) have yielded conflicting results with respect to 24 hour blood pressure control, diurnal variation and blood pressure loads. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of beginning with HD or CAPD on blood pressure control, diurnal variation and blood pressure loads using ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM). Twen-ty-seven end-stage renal disease(ESRD) patients(12 on HD and 15 on CAPD) were enrolled into the study. Patients with cardiovascular diseases, erythro-poietin therapy, or severe edema were excluded. ABPM were performed two times before and after the initiation of dialysis. Mean duration of interval between pre- and post-dialysis ABPM were 17±4 days on HD and 13±3 days on CAPD. Daytime and nighttime were defined as the time from 6: 00 AM to 10: 00 PM and from 10: 00 PM to 6: 00 AM of the next day. Systolic and diastolic loads were defined as the percentage of the incidence of systolic and diastolic blood pressure over l% and 90mmHg. Dipper meaning the presence of normal diurnal difference were defined as the differences of daytime- nighttime mean arterial pressure more than 5mmHg. In HD patients, mean systolic and diastolic blood pressure and mean arterial pressure were significantly decreased after dialysis during 24 hour, day- time and nighttime. In CAPD patients, those were also significantly decreased after dialysis during 24 hour, daytime and nighttime(p<0.05). Diurnal differences were increased after CAPD(3.3±9.4 vs 5.4±6.8mmHg) but decreased after HD(4.3±6.2 vs 2.4±10.8mmHg) and the differences of diurnal difference between two groups were significantly different(+2.1±9.0 vs 1.9±8.4mmHg, p<0.05). Proportions of dipper among patients were increased from 16.7 to 66.7% in HD and from 33.3% to 60% in CAPD without statistical significance between two groups. Systolic and diastolic loads were significantly decreased after HD(from 75.0± 38.0 to 37.5±43.8%, from 45.2±29.7 to 12.5±12.8%, respectively, p<0.05) and after CAPD(from 63.1±30,1 to 32.3±27.1%, from 43.4±36.2% to 12.2±16.9%, respectively, p<0.05). Systolic and diastolic loads of daytime and nighttime were significantly decreased after each dialysis modality except nighttime diastolic pressure load in HD. In conclusions, both HD and CAPD improve BP control in ESRD patients. CAPD has more benefit to control of diurnal variations in ESRD patients.

        하지의 외견과 축성 배열의 관계

        목적: 외형상 하지의 내반 소견과 방사선 사진상 축성 배열과의 상관 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 평균 26.9세(20-33세)의 자원한 성인 남자 46명을 대상으로, 외형상 하지 내반 여부에 대해 설문 조사를 한 후 체중 부하 기립 상태로 양 하지 전장을 촬영하여 역학적 및 해부학적 측정을 하여 서양인의 보고와 비교하고 외형상 하지 내반 여부와의 관계에 대해 분석하였다. 결과: 하지의 대퇴-경골 간 역학적 축사이의 각은 평균 177.4±2.4°, 슬부의 내반 각은 94.3±2.0°로 서양인보다 내반되어 있었다. 내반 변형이 있다고 답한 군에서 정상으로 답한 군보다 하지의 역학적 축 사이의 각, 슬관절 및 족관절의 내반 각이 내반되어 있었고, 근위 경골의 골간단-골간각이 더 증가되어 있었다(p<0.05). 결론: 남자 대학생 하지의 역학적 축 및 슬부의 내반 각은 서양인보다 통계적으로 유의하게 내반되어 있고, 하지의 외형상 내반 소견은 내반 축성 배열과 관계가 있다. Purpose: To investigate the relationship between the varus appearance and the axial alignment of the lower extremity. Materials and Methods: The axial alignments of the lower extremities of 46 normal male adults (volunteers) were measured from the radiographs and compared with the reports for Caucasians, and between the groups divided according to their subjective appearance. Results: The femorotibial mechanical angle was 177.4±2.4° and the medial obliquity of the knee was 94.3±2.0°, which were the varus compared with the reported reference points. In the group containing those with the subjective varus appearance of the lower extremities, the femorotibial mechanical angle and the medial obliquity of the knee and ankle joint were the varus, and the metaphyseal-diaphyseal angle was greater than in the group containing those with the subjective straight appearance of the lower extremity (p<0.05). Conclusion: The axial alignment of the lower extremities of young male adult Korean is the varus, and the subjective varus appearance of the lower extremity is related to the varus axial alignment.
