By impproving the educational program of the Department of Architectural Engineering and studying the theory of learning and the applied method necessary for the development of nation and society, we should develop a satisfying course of education to meet the demand and skill in the industralized society for the purpose of cultivating men of baility with great personalities and creative minds. Therefore, this study focused on classifying several kinds of occupations in the prart of architectured related to what graduates from the department of Architectural Engineering go with into the society. Accordingly after choosing some works adequate to each occupation by the proposed curricula, we tried to establish the scope of education and courses corresponding to the jobs and thus and develop a satisfying curriculum.

고체전해질형 연료전지의 작동온도를 낮추기 위해 고체전해질인 ??를 고상반응법으로 제조하여 그 전기화학적 특성을 살펴보았으며 소결온도 및 첨가제 함량이 이온전도도에 미치는 영향에 대해서도 고찰하였다. 1500℃에서 10시간동안 소결한 ??의 경우 Yb₂O₃의 함량이 ZrO₂에 대해 8㏖%일 때 가장 뛰어난 특성을 보여 890℃, 공기 중에서 ??의 이온전도도를 나타내었다. ?? were prepared by solid state reaction and its electrochemical characteristics were investigated to lower the operating temperature of solid oxide fuel cell. Also the effects of sintering temperature and additive content on ionic conductivity were studied. In case of ?? sintered at 1500℃ for 10hr, the best characteristics were showed when x is 0.08 and the value was ?? at 890℃ in air.

급속한 세계화로 터미널간의 경쟁이 치열해지면서 기존 시설의 효율적인 운영 및 관리가 터미널의 경쟁력과 생산성을 향상시키는 중요한 요소로 부각되고 있다. 하지만 우리나라 컨테이너 터미널은 양적 확장에 치중한 반면 관리와 운영의 효율성에 대해서는 다소 소홀히 해 왔다. 그리고 대부분의 컨테이너 터미널은 자사 운영시스템을 저문 업체에 의뢰하여 개발함으로써 컨테이너 터미널마다 상이한 시스템이 구축되어 시스템의 유지 보수비용이 많이 발생하고 있다. 최근 터미널 개발과 운영 자체가 사업화 되고 있기에 향후 터미널 운영시스템에 대한 수요는 증가할 것이다. 그래서 터미널마다 다른 운영시스템을 표준화하고 국제화한 ERP 형태의 통합 운영 시스템의 개발이 요구된다 하겠다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 주문형 방식에 의존하던 컨테이너 터미널 운영시스템의 고비용, 비 통합화, 개발기간의 장기화 등의 단점을 극복하기 위해 컨테이너 터미널 ERP 시스템이란 새로운 개념을 제안한다. 이 컨테이너 터미널 ERP 시스템은 통합된 운영시스템 구축, 개발기간의 단출, 개발비용의 절감, 쉬운 업그레이드를 가능하게 해 컨테이너 터미널의 글로벌 사업에 전략적 도구로써 역할을 하게 될 것으로 기대된다. The major characteristics of ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning)are enterprise-wide system that covers all the business functions and information resources, integrated database, built-in best industry practice, packaged software and open architecture. ERP enables reduction of system development time, flexibility, standardization of workflow and effective business planning capability. ERP is mainly for manufacturing industry. However, the principles of ERP can also be applied to container terminal. We have clustered the workflow of container terminal, and analyzed the business process to generate the best workflow. The integrated database is designed to eliminate redundancy and keep integration. The core of ERP for container terminal is the planning facility such as berth planning and yard planning. The planning capability is very tightly coupled with data flow from client entities such as shipping companies. The ERP can handles the existing problems of container terminal operation that are mainly caused by lack of integration of whole of information resource in container terminal, ad-hoc and poor planning capability, disconnected and incorrect data from client companies. ERP approach not only van resolve the problems of container terminals but also promote adoption of information systems for container terminals in the world that have not yet implemented terminal operation systems.

<P>Nickel phosphorus (Ni-P) alloy microtube was fabricated by using electroless plating on polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber having pm size diameter as a template, in which PAN fiber was activated by Pd nanoparticles in advance via a spontaneous reduction of sublimed palladium (II) bis(acetylacetonato), Pd(acac)2 at 180 degrees C vacuum condition. As the reduction time increased, the Pd nanoparticle size became larger and its density became denser. Ni P alloy was deposited on PAN/Pd fiber in an electroless Ni P plating solution, and finally PAN fiber was thermally decomposed resulting in Ni P alloy microtube. The microtube was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and this revealed that the wall thickness of the microtube increased with the increasing reduction time of Pd(acac)2 and with the increasing electroless plating temperature. Elemental analysis via energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis confirmed that the composition ratio of Ni:P in the microtube was approximately 94.3:5.7 atomic %.</P>

The conventional stamping tube forming process generally includes expanding the tube, forming the end into a specificshape by pressing, and trimming the part. However, the manufacture of the tube parts based on these conventional formingprocesses causes significant material loss during the trimming process after shaping. On the other hand, incremental tubeforming (ITF) can reduce material loss in the entire forming process; therefore, it can be considered as an effective alternativeto the conventional tube forming process and a promising method for developing tube components without using apress. The hemispherical shaped tool tip, widely used in the existing incremental sheet forming, has, however, limitationsin forming complex-profiled tube parts. In this study, a novel tool tip is proposed to overcome the problem, and an S-shapedtube is successfully produced through the new ITF process. In addition, numerical analyses are conducted using the commercialFE package of Abaqus/Explicit to investigate the deformation mode during ITF. Finally, the feasibility of the novelITF process for tube forming is confirmed by comparing the geometric accuracy and thickness variation between the targetshape and the formed sample.

The Changes of Renal Function in Apparent Healthy Individuals with a Simple Renal Cyst

Purpose : Simple cysts are a common structural abnormality in seemingly healthy individuals, but their clinical significance, especially on changes of renal function, remains unknown. We examined whether sporadic cysts can influence changes of renal function in apparent healthy individuals. Methods : The records from 424 people who underwent two ultrasonographic examinations in a routine check-up at our health promotion center from 2000 to 2003 were reviewed. Patients who had a medical disease were excluded. The healthy individuals (n=199) were divided into two groups according to whether they had renal cysts (cyst group, n=61), or not (control group, n=138). Renal function was evaluated by serum creatinine level (Scr), creatinine clearance (Ccr), using the Cockcroft-Gault equation, and glomerular filtration rate (GFR), using the MDRD equation. Results : Individuals in the cyst group were significantly older (44.18±7.55, 41.02±7.06, p=0.013) and more likely to be male (90.16%, 72.46%, p=0.006) than those without cysts. Compared with the control group, the cyst group had no significant differences in Scr (1.03±0.15 mg/dL, 1.08±0.11 mg/dL, respectively, p=0.06), in Ccr (82.34±13.26 ml/min, 81.00±12.6 ml/min, respectively, p=0.56) nor in GFR (84.35±11.65 ml/min/1.73m2, 82.47±10.27 ml/min/1.73m2, respectively, p=0.38). Furthermore, the parameters for changes of renal function were not significant over three years. Conclusions : The presence of renal cysts was associated with neither renal dysfunction nor a reduction in renal function over three years in Korean individuals without apparent renal disease.

Background/Aims: The Republic of Korea is a country where the hemodialysis population is growing rapidly. It is believed that the numbers of treatments related to vascular access-related complications are also increasing. This study investigated the current status of treatment and medical expenses for vascular access in Korean patients on hemodialysis. Methods: This was a descriptive observational study. We inspected the insurance claims of patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent hemodialysis between January 2008 and December 2016. We calculated descriptive statistics of the frequencies and medical expenses of procedures for vascular access. Results: The national medical expenses for access-related treatment were 7.12 billion KRW (equivalent to 6.36 million USD) in 2008, and these expenses increased to 42.12 billion KRW (equivalent to 37.67 million USD) in 2016. The population of hemodialysis patients, the annual frequency of access-related procedures, and the total medical cost for access-related procedures increased by 1.6-, 2.6-, and 5.9-fold, respectively, over the past 9 years. The frequency and costs of access care increased as the number of patients on hemodialysis increased. The increase in vascular access-related costs has largely been driven by increased numbers of percutaneous angioplasty. Conclusions: The increasing proportion of medical costs for percutaneous angioplasty represents a challenge in the management of end-stage renal disease in Korea. It is essential to identify the clinical and physiological aspects as well as anatomical abnormalities before planning angioplasty. A timely surgical correction could be a viable option to control the rapid growth of access-related medical expenses.
