방사선 강내치료를 위한 소조사면 전자선 cone의 선량분포 특성

The intracavitary cones were designed which were made of stain-less steel and have scratched inside cone to be generated electron scatter and designed to be attached easily to the LINAC collimator and controlled cones length to be contacted smoothly between the patient and the cone tip. Two types of intracavitary cones were designed. One is the straight end cones with circular opening on the distal end and the other is 30 degree beveled end cones with elliptical opening on the distal end Each type of intracavitary cone ranged in daimeter from 2.5 cm to 3.5 cm and required a separate set of lower trimmer annulias cone diameter. The film phantom was designed with an internal cassette that accurately aligned the film edge with the film phantom surface. Film optical density data were measured by photodensitometer( Wellhofer 700i) Dosimetry measurements were made to commission the LINAC for 6 - 20 MeV electron using the intracavitary cones. Isodose curves were measured for all energy and cones combinations. Output is defined as the maximum dose per MU along the clinical central axis in water at 113 cm SSD. Calibration output, defined to be the output for the 15cm x 15cm diameter straight cone, was adjusted to 1.00 cGy/MU at each energy according to the TG-21 pro- tocol.

The traditional culture and art in Honam has some of peculiarities as fellows. The first, it has character of affinity in relation to nature, because it is based on the World View of Orient. In differentiation of the World View of Europe, the World View of Orient goes with nature generally. The Second, it is universal, because it is based on folk art. A trait of modern art is that the consumer and supplier are divided, but folk art is generally pattern in self-sufficiency. Because folk art is custom made by folk, it is not art for art, and because it is used in daily life, it is universal art. The third, it is traditional and foundational culture, because it has been maintained for long time in cultural career. The fourth, it is practical, because it has been originated in everyday life. There are high quality among Honam arts, but generally it is life art that is found through practical life of folk. The fifth, it is tasteful, because it has been produced to base on comparatively rich foundation of something extra. Generally, Korean are known people that like song and recreation from long time ago, but specially Honam people like artistic taste more than them of other regions. The sixth, it is excellent in the applied power, because it has been caused by ironical situation. Historically, Honam has had the antinomy of the best condition in nature and the worst condition in history. These conditions are important nourishing that Honam art has accomplished the applied power. Nowadays, the importance of culture and art is emphasized all over the world. Especially, traditional culture and art are estimated that they have unbelievable value in potential resources for economic development. These peculiarities of traditional culture and art in Honam is are seem us the possibilities of development. The possibilities are waiting to be develope by the modernization for globalization, the cultural contents for multi-media, and resources for elevation of life quality.

비가림 및 망사 시설재배가 참다래의 수체생육 및 과실품질에 미치는 영향

This studies were conducted to investigate the effects of rain shelter and netting on the tree growth, fruit set fruit quality of kiwifruit (Actinidia deliciosa). In rain shelter and net house, shoot falling wasn't occurred by strong wind, and fruit set, fruit weight and also fruit malformation, side flowering increased at the same time. In rain shelter house the increment temperature forced blooming date and increased shoot length, leaf number and diameter but in net house these tendencies were not observed. Relative light intensity of rain shelter house was higher than that of net house with standard of field culture (relative light intensity: 100%). Soluble solid content was higher in rain shelter house, and acid content was higher in net house. With the effect of rain sheltering the occurrence of bacterial bloom rot and canker significantly decreased in both rain shelter and net house but insect injury increased. These data showed that rain shelter house is more suitable for kiwi fruit culture.

莞島邑 長佐里 堂祭의 調査報告와 世界像 考察

The Jangjwa-ri, the town of Wando is a region where Chonghaejin of Admiral Jangbogo located in the era of unified Silla. As long history prove it, remains abound around here, inhabitants think to be proud of theirs histrory. Inhabitants of this village have been celebrated Dang rites (village ritual) in the 15th day of January every year. There is Dngjib in the island named Jangdo front village. Their celebrate village ritual to the ancestral tablet socalled Adminal Songjing, Adminal Jongnyun, and Saint Hyuil there. Among gods of Dang, Adminal Songjing is the chief god, and Adminal Jongnyun, Saint Hyuil are the deputy gods. Adminal Jongnyun was the suborinate of Adminal Jangbogo, Saint Hyuil was a monk in the Koryo dynasty. But Adminal Songjing had been not made clear historically who he was. Merely following oral tradition, he was adminal of Sambyulcho in Koryo dynasty. But shouldn't belive it as a fact, we induce Songjing is nickname of Jangbogo. Although this village ritual celabrate figure gods who were deeply related to this region, it is celabrated by the way of folk-religion unlike religious rite of Confucianism. Therefore folkmind is projected in the village ritual of Jangjwa-ri. I want to chang it in terms of Weltbild folkmind projected in village ritual. Weltbild projected in this village ritual is two kinds. One is New Year ritual, the other is secularism.

Prostaglandin E₂의 子宮內 投與가 家兎의 卵巢機能에 미치는 影響에 關한 實驗的 硏究

The effects of intra-uterine administration of Prostaglandin-E₂on the ovary and plasma steroid hormones were studied. Pseudopregnancy was induced in seven rabbits by the injection of 50㎍ of ethinyl estradiol and 100IU of hCG subcutaneously. And these seven pseudopregnant rabbits served as control group. In the prostaglandin-E₂ was implanted in uterus on Day seven under laparotomy and uterine incision with pentothal anesthesia. The plasma estrogen and progesterone level was determined by radioimmunoassay with three days interval in both control and prostaglandin=E₂ treated group. The uterus and ovaries were submitted to histologic study on Day 30. The following results were obtained; 1. Serum progesterone level in intra-uterine prostaglandin-E₂-implanted pseudopregnant rabbits was decreased at 14th day of pseudopregnancy, while the progesterone level of normal pseudopregnant rabbits was decreased from 15th day of pseudopregnancy and returned to normal values by 18th day. 2. Serum estrogen levels of pseudopregnant rabbit was higher than pretreatment state and returned to normal value by 30th day, while, in prostaglandin-E₂treated group, the serum estrogen values was decreased at 11th and 18th day below the level of pretreatment state and it was more decreased at 28th day. 3. The corpus luteum regresses from 15th day in control group, but in prostaglandin-E₂ Treated group, the corpus luteum was indistinct. The numbers of follicles in control group were 4-5 in number, while, in prostaglandin-E₂treated group, they were increased to 7-11 in number. The endometrium was papillary secretory patterns in control group, while, in prostaglandin-E₂ treated group, the endometrium was shown to have proliferative patterns.

NIHSS 활용을 통한 뇌졸중 환자 간호의 질향상 전략

문제: 뇌졸중 환자를 돌보는 간호현장에서는 급성기 뇌졸중 환자의 증상악화에 대한 조기사정과 적절한 대처가 매우 중요한 문제이다. 그러나 임상현장에서는 이를 객관화하고 수치화하여 모든 의료진이 의사소통할 수 있는 유용한 도구를 사용하고 있지는 못하는 실정이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기위해 NIHSS(National Institute of Health Stroke Scale)를 신경과 진료의사를 중심으로활용하고 있지만 아직 간호현장에서는보편적으로사용하지 않고있다. 이에 뇌졸중환자간호에 NIHSS를 활용하여 뇌졸중 증상악화의 조기사정과 빠른 대처로 궁극적으로는 뇌졸중환자 간호의 질을보다 향상시키기 위하여 본활동이 시도되었다. 목적: 첫째, 간호사의 NIHSS 측정 신뢰도의 현수준을 점검하고 이를향상시키기 위한 프로그램을 개발·적용한다. 둘째, 간호사가급성기 뇌졸중환자에게 NIHSS 측정을 통하여 뇌졸중악화를 얼마나 예측할 수 있는지 분석하고 이를 향상시킬수있는 방법을 모색한다. 셋째, 궁극적으로 급성기 뇌졸중 환자의 증상악화의 조기 발견과치료를위한의료진의 올바른 대처지침을 마련하여 이를 적용한다. 의료기관: 경기도에 소재한 대학병원의 뇌졸중 집중치료실 질 향상 활동: 첫째, 간호사의 NIHSS 측정 신뢰도 향상을 위해 「NIHSS 간호사 교육 프로그램」을 마련하였다.

Holmium:YAG laser를 이용한 요관경하쇄석술의 초기 경험 : 기존의 쇄석술과의 결과 비교

Purpose: Holmium:YAG lasertripsy for the 33 patients with lower ureteral calculi compared the outcome with other results using Lithoclast and ultrasonic lithotripsy. Materials and Methods: Thirty-three patients with symptomatic urinary calculi underwent Holmium:YAG lasertripsy from March 1999 to December 2000. Twelve patients were treated with Ultrasonic lithotripsy and twenty-one patients with Lithoclast lithotripsy from April 1997 to October 1999. All calculi of the above patients were located in their lower ureters. The size of ureter stones was ranged from 3.5 mm to 12 mm (mean 6.54 mm). Results: The age of the patients ranged was from 19 to 62 years (me~n 35.7 years). After a single ureteroscopic lasertripsy calculi were conlpletely cleared in 83 % of the cases for the patients with lower ureter calculi. The immediate complications of lasertripsy were gross hematuria, fever, and flank pain. However in the long term follow up (up to 3 months after the procedures) there were no further complications, such as, vesicoureteral reflux or ureteral stricture. In other two lithotripsies Lithoclast and Ultrasonic lithotripsy accomplished calculi were completely cleared in 71 % and 74 % of cases respectively. But Holmium:Y AG lasertripsy is cleared in 94 % effectiveness. Holmium:Y AG lasertripsy is more effective than two other methods compared by stratified analysis that unmasking from confounding factors such as impacted situation. Conclusions: Lasertripsy with Holmium:Y AG laser is considered effective and safe procedure for the lower urinary calculi lithotripsy (Ultrasonic, Lithoclast).

인체 자궁암 세포에서 천연 성분이 P-당단백질의 활성에 미치는 영향

Multidrug resistance (MDR) of cancer cells is, at least in part, associated with the overexpression of P-gly-coprotein (P-gp). Many studies hve demonstrated that natural compounds obtained from fruits, vegetables, teas and medicinal plants may modulate P-gp activity. The objective of the present investigation was to examine the effect of seven natural compounds on the P-gp activity in human uterine sarcoma cell line, MES-SA/DX5. Daunomycin uptake was significantly increased by biochanin A and silymarin (p<0.0001) whereas it was reduced by morin (p<0.01). The efflux of daunomycin from the cells was significantly inhibited by biochanin A, morin, cephalotaxine, berberine (p<0.05) and silymarin (p<0.0001). Biochanin A, berberine and silymarin significantly decreased IC_(50) value of daunomycin (p<0.05) while morin increased it (p<0.05). These results suggest that some natural compounds such as biochanin A and silymarin may inhibit P-gp funciton and can by developed as MDR reversing agents to improve the efficacy of chemotherapeutic drugs when administered concomitantly.

일부 대학생의 방사선 이용에 대한 지식조사

This study was attempted to investigate the level of knowledges on the use of radiations of some university students, that is to provide some useful information for designing education programs to improve the knowledge of the use of radia-tions. The survey was performed for 517 university students from Oct. 10 to Oct. 15, 2005. The results of this survey can be summarized as follows; students who didn't get educations for the use of radiations were recorded as 415 students (80.7%) in which the reason that they didn't get such educations was there were no chances to receive the education' as 265 students (77.9%). Regarding the survey on 'Energy productions using an atomic power plant can reduce electricity rates', the right answer was presented as the highest level (60.9%), the lowest rate of right answers was recorded in the survey on 'The average amount of atomic air raids of workers on the radiation related job pre-sented smaller levels than that of the average person'as 20.4%. The basic knowledge on the use of radiations was presented as a low level of 5.96 £ 2,90 points based on the sum of 15 points. There were significant differ-ences in these results statistically according to the age, sex, grade, majoring, score and experience of the education of radiations.
