        The changes of physical properities of the reactor vessel steel (SA 508 class 3) irradiated by fast neutron have been investigated by Mossbauer spectroscopy at operating temperature 600K. The various physical properties of the reactor vessel steel irradiated by neutron are changed because fast neutrons (over 1 MeV) are created in operating nuclear vessel. The crystallization of the samples is disappeared by increasing of neutron irradiation. In the Mossbauer spectrum of the sample, the lattice sites are three types. Two sites of them are ferromagnetic and the other one is paramagnetic. The Mossbauer parameters of the paramagnetic site are predominatly changed than the others.

      • BaO-V₂O5유리系에서 鐵이온에 관한 Mossbauer效果

        BaO-V₂O?-Fe₂O₃glasses were studied by the Mossbauer spectroscopy for which Co? doped in Rhodium was used at the source. The base composition of Barium-Vanadium glasses containing ferric oxide as follow; X BaO-(1-X) V₂O?-Y Fe₂O₃,where X is 10, 20 30 and 40 mol ratio and Y is 3, 5, 7, 9 and 15 mol ratio. The mixtures were melted in furnace at 900 ℃ for 2 hours under air circumstance. We have computed the resonance absorption ratio, isomer shift, quadrupole splitting, intensity ratio and the valence states of ferric oxide in our specimens. We found that the isomer shift values and quadrupole splitting values increased gradually with addition of ferric oxide and valence 3 for iron in these glasses. The isomer shift values of glasses were found to be good agreement with that octahedral coordination.

      • 가토 편측 악관절원판 제거후 악관절 과두에서 S-100 단백 변화에 관한 실험적 연구

        S-100 protein is chiefly in neuroectodermal origin tissue of human body. For example it exists in odontogenic epithelial cell, melanocyte in skin, chondrocyte in cartilage, and it is involved in calcium metabolism. The purpose of this study was to observe the change of cell proliferation of condylar head after unilateral diskectomized by anti S-100 protein antibody method. 20 rabbits of 3.0 Kg body weight(control;5, experimental;15) were used and diskectomized in left side of experimental group. According to the sacrification schedule, excised TMJ of control and experimental group was fixed, decalcified and immunohistochemically stained by LSAB method. S-100 protein positive cells were observed under the microscope according to stainability. The results were as follows, 1. Histopatholigic features showed increased hyperplasia of hypertrophic zone, but decreased narrowness of errosive zone in surgical site. 2. S-100 protein positive cells could be seen in the hypertrophic zone of control group. In experimental group, they were seen in hyalinized chondrocyte at 1 week, from 3 to 6 weeks they were found at the borderline of proliferative and hypertrophic zone. 3. In 8 weeks of experimental group, positive reaction was appeared in upper portion of hypertrophic and erosive zone. In 10 weeks of experimental group, slight positive reaction in hypertrophic zone was similar to control group. From the above findings, we can observe the change of undifferentiated cell into chondrocyte at early stage of diskectomized condyle head. After 10 weeks, narrowing of proliferative zone and widening of hypertrophic zone and cartilagenous cell megration into subchondral bone could be seen.

      • Ca Ionophore, A23187에 의한 30A-5세포의 지방세포 분화 억제

        지방세포 분화 억제 과정에서 ??의 역할을 알아보기 위해, 30A-5 preadipocyte가 지방세포로 분화되는 과정에 ?? ionophore, A23187을 첨가하여, 30A-5세포의 지방세포 분화도와 acetyl-CoA carboxylase 활성을 검토하였다. 30A-5 preadipocyte는 insulin과 dexamethasone의 존재하에서 성숙된 지방세포로 분화되는데, 세포가 분화되는 과정에서 1 μM의 ?? ionophore, A23187을 가하면 30A-5 의 지방세포로의 분화가 거의 완전히 억제된다. 30A-5 세포가 지방세포로 분화되는 과정에서 비례적으로 증가하는 지방산 합성의 조절효소인 acetyl CoA carboxylase의 합성은 ?? ionophore, A23187처리에 의해 억제하는데, 30A-5 세포의 지방세포 분화억제는 acetyl-CoA carboxylase합성 저하에 따른 결과로 추측된다. ?? ionophore, A23187에 의한 acetyl-CoA carboxylase 의 합성저하는 비교적 장기간에 걸쳐 나타나는 효과로, 이 억제효과는 ??의 세포막이동의 경쟁적 저해제인 ??에 의해 부분적으로 극복된다. 따라서 A23187에 의한 acetyl-CoA carboxylase의 합성저하와 이에 따른 지방세포로의 분화를 억제하는 과정의 signal tranduction 과정에는 ??의 이동이 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 추정된다. To examine inhibitory effect of ?? ionophore, A23187 on adipocyte conversion of the 30A-5 preadipocytes, we checked the degree of differentiation and acetyl-CoA carboxylase activity of 30A-5 cells in the presence and absence of ?? ionophore, A23187. Inhibition of differentiation of 30A-5 preadipocytes into matured adipocytes was almost completely inhibited by ?? ionophore, A23187. Inhibition of differentiation of 30A-5 cells be resulting from decreased synthesis of acetyl-CoA carboxylase, which is regulatory enzyme in de novo fatty acid synthesis, by ?? ionophore, A23187. Decreased synthesis of acetyl-CoA carboxylase by ?? ionophore, A23187 might be one of the long term effect, and this inhibitory effect was partially recovered by ?? which is competitive inhibitor in membrane transport of ??. Therefore we assumed that ?? mobilization may play a important role on signal tranduction process in inhibitory action of 30A-5 preadipocytes into adipocytes.

        Several decades of intensive research in software engineering left few alternative but software reuse as the only realistic approach to bring about the gains of productivity and quality. but also software reuse offers a great deal of potential in terms of software productivity and quality. First, by deal with software products at the component level, development scale and implementation scale is decreased. Second, by deal with software design at the architectural level, rather than the coding level, the most crucial decisions that must be taken in a program construction process, such as the choice of algorithm, control structures, and data structure are formalized and automated. This paper dressed basic theory about software reuse. With a focuse on object-oriented methods, software components may more efficiently reuse. therefore, this paper suggest FSA(Framework for Software Architecture) that can be search reusable software component and can be edition and composition for new algorithm software.

      • 一部 農村地域 住民의 여름철 營養攝取狀態에 대한 調査

        In order to obtain basic information on nutrient intake of residents in rural community during the summer that can be used as reference material for making health policy in the future, a three day survey has been conducted at Jeomdong-Myun, Yeoju-Gun, Kyunggi province which is the pilot project area for the project implemented by the Community Health Development Committee, Korea University. The sample size was 46 households and the major findings were as follows; 1. The number of foods they were taking totalled 16 categories and 152 kinds. 2. Average amount of daily intake was 1,124 grams per person of which 93% was vegetable food, and animal food occupied only 7%. Amongst the animal foods, the intake amount of fishes and milk was lower than the national average. 3. The nutrient intake except fatty substance and calcium, namely protein, carbohydrate, phosphorus, iron and vitamines, was exceeding the recommended daily allowance for adult. The same fact was also found in terms of the total calorie intake. 4. The problems on the nutrient intake arisen from the study in this area were; a. The proportion of animal protein occupies 24% of the total protein intake whereas the national average of rural community stood at between 32.5%∼33.5% as a results of 1981∼1984 National Nurition survey. b. Insufficient intake of fat and oil, and c. Calcium intake occupies only 72% of the recommended daily allowance and 84.5% of the calcium intake was depending upon vegetable, which has a low absorbability. As described above, the intake of animal protein, fatty substance and calcium was low because of the high dependency on vegetable food in this community.

      • 초등학생들의 열과 온도에 대한 대안개념 조사

        In this study, the contents of elementary school science textbooks related to 'heat and temperature' are analyzed and alternative conceptions of "heat and temperature" among students enrolled in grades 4, 5 and 6 are investigated. 259 students were selected from a elementary school located in urban area. The relationships between students' alternative conceptions and the content of elementary science textbooks are also examined. Students' conceptions are analyzed from their answers to a paper-and-pencil test. The typical alternative conception of "heat and temperature" held by students was follows. They think that "heat" is a material and "temperature" is value of heat amount. They can't distinguish between "heat" and "temperature". Their explanation of "heat and temperature" is focused on hot or cool sensation and other observable characteristics of a material. A textbook analysis indicated that contents on "heat and temperature" were organized without the viewpoint of particle motion theory. This may be one of the causes of students' alternative conceptions.

      • 에스트로겐 투여가 난소절제로 유도된 백서의 골다공증에 미치는 효과에 관한 실험적 연구

        Osteoporosis is a state of reduced bone mass per unit volume with a normal ratio of mineral to matrix. There were many methods for osteoporosis, and estrogen is one of them. In this study, 30 female rats were ovariectomized to make a state of estrogen deficiency and induce osteoporosis. After 13 weeks, 15 ovariectomized rats were injected 6 times with 60㎍/㎏ of estradiol by 1 week interval (experimental group). The remaining 15 ovariectomized rats were used as control group. According to the time schedule, both of them were sacrified and femur were harvested. Paraffin sections were stained with HematoxylinEosin staining and modified Gomori's Trichrome staining, and observed under light microscope. The results were as follows : 1. There were no significant bony changes between the experimental and control group of cancellous bone. 2. The density of cortical bone showed increasing with time in experimental group. 3. The resorption of cortical bone in experimental group was less than that of control group.
