Melt flow index (MI) dependency of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) on the thermal, mechanical and rheological properties in the blends with linear low density polyethylene (1-octene comonomer) (LLDPE) has been investigated by means of differential scanning calorimeter, dynamic mechanical thermal analyzer, capillary rheometer, and rheotons. Two discrete melting and crystallizing peaks were observed regardless of the MI of LDPE in the crystalline phase. Mechanical properties of the blends were fairly dependent on the MI of LDPE. Complex shear viscosities of the blends were dictated by the LLDPE indicating that severe processing conditions may be necessary. Melt viscosity analyzed in terms of the Cole-Cole plot and the log additive rule resulted that the miscibility was improved at high shear rate and that the MI of LDPE does not affect the miscibility. However synergistic effect in the melt strength was observed for the entire blends systems used in this study. In particular, the blends containing 40∼60% LDPE are suggested to design for highly improved melt strength, processibility, and mechanical properties.

Bioinformatics is an innovative research field of science, which applies power of high performance system using computational grid technology. This paper focuses on a bioinformatics data classification and data accuracy problem which is currently important issue in bioinformatics applications. This paper proposes a probability-based ART1 clustering classification model. The recognition success rates of ART1 clustering classificaton with PNN verification are over 95%. PNN verification filters inadequate data of ART1 clusters and improves data accuracy of ART1 class clusters.
Eco-System: 클라우드 컴퓨팅환경에서 REC 가격예측 시뮬레이션

Cloud computing helps big data processing to make various information using IT resources. The government has to start the RPS(Renewable Portfolio Standard) and induce the production of electricity using renewable energy equipment. And the government manages system to gather big data that is distributed geographically. The companies can purchase the REC(Renewable Energy Certificate) to other electricity generation companies to fill shortage among their duty from the system. Because of the RPS use voluntary competitive market in REC trade and the prices have the large variation, RPS is necessary to predict the equitable REC price using RPS big data. This paper proposed REC price prediction method base on fuzzy logic using the price trend and trading condition infra in REC market, that is modeled in cloud computing environment. Cloud computing helps to analyze correlation and variables that act on REC price within RPS big data and the analysis can be predict REC price by simulation. Fuzzy logic presents balanced REC average trading prices using the trading quantity and price. The model presents REC average trading price using the trading quantity and price and the method helps induce well-converged price in the long run in cloud computing environment. 클라우드 컴퓨팅은 정보의 다양성과 빅데이터를 IT자원을 이용하여 처리할 수 있는 컴퓨팅 개념이다. 정부는 신재생에너지를 활용한 전력생산을 장려하기 위해 RPS를 시행하였고 시스템을 구축하여 지리적으로 분산되어 있는 빅데이터를 수집하여 운영하고 있다. RPS제도를 이행하는 발전사업자들은 의무할당량 중 REC 부족분을 타 발전사업자들로부터 REC를 구매하여 조달해야 한다. REC는 자율시장에 근거하여 거래되고 있고, 매매가격의 편차가 크기 때문에 RPS 빅데이터를 통해 형평성있는 REC가격을 예측할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 부정확한 가격추이와 규칙을 정량적으로 표현하여, 클라우드 환경에서 퍼지기반으로 REC가격을 예측하는 방법을 제안한다. 클라우드 환경에서 RPS 빅데이터를 통한 상호연관성과 가격결정에 영향을 주는 변수들에 대한 분석이 가능하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 REC 가격을 예측할 수 있다. 클라우드 환경에서 퍼지로직은 매물수량과 매매가격을 이용하여 투명성있는 REC 가격을 예측하고 장기적으로 수렴된 가격을 제시할 것이다.

The cloud environment need resource management method that to enable the big data issue and data analysis technology. Existing resource management uses the limited calculation method, therefore concentrated the resource bias problem. To solve this problem, the resource management requires the learning-based scheduling using resource history information. In this paper, we proposes the ART (Adaptive Resonance Theory)-based adaptive resource management. Our proposed method assigns the job to the suitable method with the resource monitoring and history management in cloud computing environment. The proposed method utilizes the unsupervised learning method. Our goal is to improve the data processing and service stability with the adaptive resource management. The propose method allow the systematic management, and utilize the available resource efficiently. 클라우드 환경은 빅데이터의 이슈와 데이터 분석을 가능하게 하는 기술로서, 이를 위한 자원 관리 기법이 필요하다. 현재까지의 자원관리 기법은 한정된 계산 방법을 이용하여 자원의 편중의 문제점이 있으며, 이를 해결하기 위해서 자원관리는 자원이력 정보를 활용한 학습기반의 스케줄링이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 ART(Adaptive Resonance Theory)기반의 적응형 자원관리 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 클라우드환경에서 모니터링 및 자원이력을 이용하여 작업의 적합한 할당이 가능하다. 제안하는 방법은 무감독 학습방법을 사용하며, 적응형 자원 관리를 통하여 서비스의 안정성과 데이터 처리성능을 향상시키는 것을 목적으로 한다. 제안하는 방법은 체계적인 자원관리가 가능하고 가용자원을 효율적으로 활용하여 요구 성능을 향상시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

의료정보서비스로 인해 병원에서의 디지털화는 환자관리에 빠른 발전이 있었다. 여기에 더하여 병원 어디에서나 언제든지 의료정보서비스를 제공하려는 노력을 하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 환경에서의 주요 요구사항은 DICOM 표준을 이용한 영상 뷰어시스템과 의료정보서비스를 지원하는 서버시스템 간에 통신할 수 있는 기능이다. 본 논문은 의료정보서비스를 제공하기 위해 RFID 기술을 이용한 이동 단말기 기반의 원격 네트워킹 시스템을 기술한다. 전반적인 구성을 적용하기 위해 본 논문은 우선 DICOM 뷰어 시스템을 개발하였고, 환자 정보를 저장하기위한 데이타베이스를 구성하였으며 모바일 터미널 환경에서 서버/클라이언트 네트워킹 시스템을 구현하였다. 특히, 본 논문은 문자 기반 통신은 물론 의료영상 기반 통신의 가능성을 보여주었다. A general medical information service in hospitals recently has been rapidly developed in the effective patient management due to the digitalization. In addition, the hospitals make an effort to support the medical information service in ubiquitous environment. A key requirement in ubiquitous environment is the medical information service. This paper describes a remote networking system based on the mobile terminal with RFID technology ability to communicate between the image viewer system using the DICOM standard and a server system to support the for the medical information service. In order to apply the overall configuration, we first implemented the DICOM viewer system, configured the database to store the patient information, and realized the server/client networking system in mobile terminal environment. In particular, this paper showed the capability for the medical image-based communication as well as the text-based communication.

<P>A robot sensor network (RSN) is defined as a network of sensor-equipped robots and sensor nodes (that are deployed by the robots) that wirelessly communicate for remote-control, mission-cooperation, and to report sensed information to the control and reporting center (CRC). RSNs use real-time video communication support (in addition to various sensor data communication) for mission-cooperation and remote-control of its multi-robots. In this article, the hybrid data-type clustering (HDC) and subnet-divided HDC (SHDC) algorithms are proposed to maximize the RSN lifetime and enable more efficient multi-robot mission-cooperation.</P>
재활용 가능한 폴리에틸렌과 폴리프로필렌의 전도도 온도의존성과 전력케이블 내의 전계분포에 미치는 영향

In this work the recyclable new polyethylene(PE) and polypropylene(PP), which are thermoplastic, have been investigated as the eco-friendly insulating candidates to replace the cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). The temperature dependence of conductivities of these materials has been measured and its effects on electric field and space charge distribution in polymeric insulated power cable under temperature gradient have been calculated. It is shown that the sensitivity of conductivity to temperature change has more critical influence to determine the electric field distribution in the power cable than the absolute value of conductivity does and it can be said that the temperature dependence is one of most important factors for the power cable design.
친환경 비가교 폴리에틸렌의 전기적 특성과 워터트리 가속열화에 관한 연구

The crosslinked polyethylene (XLPE) is the most widely used insulating material for power cable. Due to its thermosetting characteristics, the XLPE can not be recycled, while the needs for the environmental friendly and recyclable insulator is rapidly increasing. In this paper, some important and basic electrical properties of non-crosslinked polyethylene such as conduction current characteristics, water the tree characteristics, AC breakdown test were experimentally investigated. It was shown that some of the tested samples had better performances from the application point of view for replacing current XLPE.
