        삼성(三星)그룹 글로벌 CEO이건희 회장의 시대별 기업 활동과 경영전략

        According to professor John Corter of Harvard University, one of the main factor that cause corporate to experience failure in reform is due to the existing cooperate cultural that may hamper the smooth penetration. Hence when cooperate is building ethical culture, it is necessary to construct an infrastructure that brings ethical execution in the center of organizational management process. Yet the reform, constructing a new ethical infrastructure, can only be driven by the CEO of the organization. Chairman Kun-Hee Lee, the head of the Samsung, has set his own ethical spirit further building an infrastructure with ethical management mindset that applies from a high-ranked executive to low-ranked manager: through this Chairman Kun-Hee Lee, as a guiding figure, has advanced powerful reform even to bring change in the mindset of CEO``s, other executives and its employees. Samsung`s ethical infrastructure lies in “to produce the superlative goods and services based on competent human and technological resources to make a contribution to human society” and in management philosophy that is regulating the creditability or trustiness of the company. Thus Samsung, through the regular sessions of education and forwarding the ethical infrastructure, has developed into leading group not only in domestic sphere but also maintained its peculiarity in global sphere. The Samsung``s management reform strategy began with “The Frankfurt declaration” on June 1993 and the epochal event has altered Samsung``s constitution. At that time, Samsung Electronics were fiercely competing against currently known as LG Electronics in a domestic market yet applying the “quality based management” and recruiting competent human resources as well as investing more on R&D to stand as globally recognized first-class manufactured goods, Samsung Electronics became the leading electronics sector in domestic economy. Furthermore overcoming the IMF crisis in the late 90`s, Samsung was put as a leading figure among the corporate with globally competent information technology sources in year 2000. In year 1992, a year before starting the grand reform strategy, Samsung`s total profits before tax stayed 230 billion Korean Won but by the end of 2004, the total profits before tax became 60 times more, 14 trillion Korean Won. At the same time, the debt ratio was reduced from336% to 90% and moreover, Samsung`s brand value hiked up as competent as No.1 brand at a global market: they became one of the leading companies in the world. In addition, Samsung carries the vision of an enterprise based on sharing and coexisting humanity, Samsung, through the active social contribution to the digitally neglected social class, not only in Korea but also in countries like Russia and Southeast Asia, has strengthened its brand image, friendliness and trustiness as well as taking full responsibility as an undertaking citizenry. Due to the Chairman Kun-Hee Lee`s endeavors to build Samsung as the world`s best company, active corporate activities and incessant management strategies led Samsung as the leading domestic enterprise in the global market also one of the most preferable company to invest among the Foreign Direct Investors. Currently, Samsung is putting all-in efforts in preparation for anew management project for coming decade along the training employees to become globally competent: they are not just leading a comfortable life with present time, the biggest profit in history, rather they are still seeking for reform or change in preparation to future: the exploratory question of what could Samsung do to compete in the future global market? Such a forwardly put vision of Samsung could be guidance and may well be considered to search for future direction of Korean corporate and society. Samsung aims 4 main strategies: first, management of globally competent human resources in preparation to the next 5~10 years, second, procuring the service sector and world``s best product, third, seeking the opportunity for preoccupying global market by searching for the hopeful sector in the future, and last, social-friendly management and reaching the world top brand value. As the world moves step closer to the post-internet, ubiquitous and biotechnology era, the encouragement of society to such entrepreneurs is needed for Samsung to continue the myth of the world``s best enterprise.

      • 급성백혈병의 화학요법에서 조혈간세포 보충요법

        1. 목적 급성백혈병의 화학요법에 있어서 관해유도 요법시에 보다 더 강력한 항암화학요법을 시행하고 골수억제의 회복을 위하여 말초혈액에서 채취한 조혈모세포의 투여로 그 효과를 증대시키고자 시도하였다. 2. 방법 관해유도 화학요법후에 골수억제시기로부터 회복단계로서 백혈구감소증이 호전도면서 단핵세포가 증가될 때에 말초혈액에서 조혈간세포(stem cell)로 인정되고 있는 CD34+세포의 함유량이 1% 이상되는 시기를 찾아내고 그 때부터 평균 4차례의 단핵구를 분리채집을 하여 -74。C에 냉동보관하였다가 제2차 화학요법후에 해동시켜서 정맥주입하였다. 3. 결과 대상 급성백혈병환자는 6명에 23회의 조혈간세포를 함유한 단핵구 채집을 시행하였고 유효한 단핵구의 채집은 4례에서 가능하였고 2례에서는 유효한 채집이 못되었다. 채집효율은 39.0-74.5%로서 평균 49.8%였다. 채집 후에 혈액학적 변화는 혈색소의 약간 감소 (평균 1.34g/dl)와 혈소판의 감소 (평균20.25%)를 나타내었다. 해동 단핵구를 투여할시에 일과성인 불쾌감, 기침, 흉부압박감, 호흡곤란 등이 있었다. 4. 결론 자가골수이식에서 자기말초혈액조혈간세포이식으로 관심이 이행되는 현시점에 자가조혈간세포를 채집하여 수혈하는 기술이 확립되는 기초를 이루었다고 본다. 이번 대상들은 재발된 금성백혈병들에 시행하였으나, 향후에는 초발시에 제일차 관해유도 화학요법 과정에 시도해야할 것으로 생각한다. Object: Peripheral blood stem cells(PBSC) were collected after remission induction chemotherapy and reinfused after intensified chemotherapy in order to increase the chemotherapeutic efficacy. Method: Collection of mononuclear cells (MNC) was started when CD34+ cells above 1% and WBC above 1,000/ul with mononuclear cell percentage above 30%, the collection procedures were done 2-6 time in each patient of total 6 cases. The collected MNCs were stored in - 750C and reinfused after thawing in the water bath at 370C Results: Twenty three collection procedures from the 6 cases of acute leukemia had made effective MNC collection in 4 cases and mean collection efficiency was 49.8%(from 39.0% to 74.5%). Hematological changes after the procedure were mean reduction of hemoglobin 1.34g/dl and mean 20.25% of decreased platelet count. There were noticed transient symptoms of discomfort, coughing, chest tightness and dyspnea in association with the infusion of stored cells. Conclusion: The basic process for the peripheral blood stem cell transplantation (PBSCT) was accomplished with this supportive care for the consolidation chemotherapy of acute leukemia. Effective PBSCT would be warrented with more qualified process and high does chemotherapy. (Korean J Blood Transfus 6(2) : 41~47,1995)

      • In situ 고상 에피택시 방법에 의한 CoSi₂/Si(111)구조의 형성

        초고진공에서 공상에피택시(solid-phase epiyaxy, SPE) 방법으로 CoSi₂를 Si(111)기판 위에 에피택시 성장시켰다. 2MeV⁴He++ ion후방산란 분광기와 사중결정 x-선 회절기 및 고분해 투과전자 현미경을 이용하여 성장된 CoSi₂의 상과 조성, 결정성, 그리고 계면의 미시구조를 조사하였다. 초고진공상태의 실온에서 Si(111)-7X7기판에 Co를 약 20 ~50 ?? 중착한 후 SPE에 의하여 실리사이드를 형성시키는 경우 600℃에서는 B-형의 CoSi₂가, 그리고 700℃에서는 A형의 CoSi₂가 선택적으로 에피택시 성장하였으며, 정합성은 B-CoSi₂[110]//Si[110] and CoSi₂(111)//Si(111)이, 그리고 700℃에서는 A-CoSi₂[110]//Si[110], CoSi₂(002)//Si(002)을 나타내었다. Epitaxial films of CoSi₂were grown on Si(111) substrates by in situ solid-phase epitaxy in a ultrahigh vacuum. The phase, the chemical composition, the crystallinity, and the microstructure of the Silicide/Si interface were investigated by 2-MeV⁴He++ ion-backscattering spectrometry, quadruple crystal X-ray diffractometry, and high-resolution transmission eletron micorscopy. High-quality films of either B-type or A-type CoSi₂ could be grown selectively on Si(111) substrates by depositing ~ 20 ~ 50 ?? of Co on a Si(111)-7X7 substrate followed by in situ annealing at 600℃ or 700℃ for 10 min. The matching face relationships are CoSi₂[110]//Si[110] and CoSi₂(111)//Si(111) by B-type CoSi₂ and CoSi₂[110]//Si[110]//Si[110] and CoSi₂(002)//Si(002) for A-type CoSi₂.

      • 복강경하 대장절제술을 시행 받는 환자에서 라모세트론과 온단세트론외 술 후 오심 및 구토 예방 효과 비교

        Objectives : We evaluated the efficacy of ramosetron and ondansetron for preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) in laparoscopic colectomy. Methods and Materials : Eighty patients who received laparoscopic colectomy were randomly divided into two groups: R group (ramosetron 0.1mg PO) and O group (ondansetron 4mg twice IV). Injection or oral medication was administered before the induction of anesthesia in each group. Injection was administered at the end of surgery in O group. General anesthesia was induced using propofol and rocuronium, and maintained with sevoflurane, remifentanil and air (FiO2 0.5), We investigated the incidences of PONV in each group by the Rhodes index of nausea, vomiting and retching (RINVR) at postoperative 6 and 24 hours. Results : The incidence of PONV was not different between group at each time points after surgery (at postoperative 6 hours: 20% in group R, 17.5% in group 0, at postoperative 24 hours; 12.5% in group R, 7.5% in group 0). There was no difference in the severity of PONV, satisfaction, rescue drug usage. Conclusion : Prophylactic therapy with ramosetron is as effective as conventional prophylactic therapy with ondansetron for preventing PONV in general anesthesia for laparoscopic colectomy.

        This paper presents the controller of a double parallel robot manipulator applied for deburring work. This is one of the least favored works because of dust, noise, vibration, and accidental injury. A serial robot manipulator has been limitedly applied to light-load deburring work due to the poor stiffness of the manipulator. A double parallel robot manipulator has been developed for a strong rigidity by stacking two parallel mechanisms. It can be applied to heavy-load deburring work with high stiffness. To apply the robot to cut the burrs on a unknown geometric surface, this research will develop an intelligent controller to measure bur track and cut it with a constant cutting force.

      • 췌장암 환자에서 알코올 내장신경 신경파괴블럭 후 발생한 간염

        Splanchnic neurolytic block(SNB) with alcohol improves the management of pancreatic cancer pain. Adverse effects of alcohol SNB which include regional pain, hypotension, diarrhea, and acute alcohol intoxication are common, but acute hepatitis caused by alcohol neurolytic block is rare. A 63-year-old patient with pancreatic head cancer and liver metastasis had complete pain relief after both retrocrural tansdiscal SNB with 100% alcohol 10 ml. But, 1 day later, liver function test showed a high elevation in the aspartate aminotransferase (AST, 2182 IU/L) and alanine aminotransferase (ALT, 1807 IU/L). The patient had slight jaundice, general weakness, chilling, nausea and vomiting after SNB. Both AST and ALT decreased to 46 and 119 IU/L within 10 days with only supportive therapy. But, 19 days later, the patient died due to pneumonia. Our case illustrates the importance of clinical surveillance especially in patient with hepatic disease after alcohol SNB.

      • 국내 철판가공 공정에 대한 전과정 평가

        철판가공 공정군에서 범용성이 높은 용접공정, 절단공정 및 프레스공정 등의 철판가공 공정에 대한 전과정평가를 수행하였다. 각 대상 공정군별 국내 공정가동량이 가장 큰 4개 업체 선정하여 전과정 목록 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 용접공정의 세부 용접공정에는 gas metal arc welding(GMAW), flux cored arc welding(FCAW), submerged arc welding(SAW) 및 spot welding 등에 대한 전과정목록 데이터베이스가 구축되었다. 절단공정에는 플라즈마 절단 및 산소-아세틸렌 절단, 프레스에서 3500 가압력 톤 수 프레스의 전과정목록 데이터베이스가 구축되었다. 추가적으로 절단 및 프레스 공정에서는 데이타베이스의 활용도를 높이기 위해 각 기능단위별 투입물에 대한 상관관계를 토대로 환경부하계산식을 작성하였다. 전과정평가 수행결과 용접공정군의 경우 각 용접기법과 용접 모재의 종류별로 영향 범주에 따라 환경영향이 차이가 있었지만 모든 용접공정에서 무생물 자원고갈 범주가 50% 이상으로 전체 환경영향에 가장 기여도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 절단공정군의 경우에는 공통적으로 생태독성 범주가 전체 환경영향에 55%이상으로 가장 기여도가 큰 것으로 나났다. 프레스공정은 무생물자원고갈 범주가 전체 환경영향에 80%이상으로 가장 기여도가 큰 것으로 나타났다. Environmental performance of teel sheet processing processes was investigated by implementing a Life Cycle Assessment(LCA). The inventory analysis was performed with data obtained from four major companies Cycle Assessment(LCA). The inventory analysis was performed with data obtained form four major companies within the country. The selected processes were welding, cutting and pressing process. In welding process, there were gas metal arc welding(GMAW), flux cored arc welding(FCAW), submerged arc welding(SAW) and spot welding. In cutting process, there were oxygen-acetylene cutting and oxygen-plasma cutting. In pressing process, there was 3500 ton press. Especially for cutting and pressing process, we made some equations with regard to each input such as electric power and mineral oil to activate the utilization of the life cycle inventory database. As for welding process, environmental impacts vary according to the kind of parents metal. However, the most significant impact was the abiotic resource depletion. In the case of cutting and pressing process, eco-toxicity and abiotic resource depletion were identified as the most contributing impact respectively.

        측두엽 간질에서 F-18-FDG PET에 나타난 측두엽 내외측 부위별 대사의 차이

        Purpose: We investigated the difference of glucose metabolism of medial and lateral temporal lobes of patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) utilizing quantitative comparison of regional metabolic activities using asymmetric index. Materials and Methods: We studied 19 pathologically proven mesial TLE and 25 lateral TLE patients. Lateral TLE patients were either normal on magnetic resonance imaging (cryptogenic: n=14) or had structural lesions (lesional: n=11). Asymmetric index (ASI) was calculated as [(ipsilateral-contralateral)/(ipsilateral+ contralateral)]×200. Results: ASI of medial and lateral lobes of mesial TLE was decreased (-16.4±8.3 and -12.7±5.5, respectively). In cryptogenic lateral TLE, ASI of lateral temporal lobe was decreased (-11.8±4.7), whereas that of medial temporal lobe was not decreased (-4.6±6.3). ASI of medial lobe of lesional lateral TLE was -7.3±9.1, which was significantly different from that of mesial TLE (p<0.05). Patients with lesional lateral TLE had evident metabolic d or decrease (ASI: -22±10.5) in lateral temporal lobe. While we could not find the difference of metabolic activity in lateral temporal lobes between cryptogenic lateral TLE and mesial TLE patients, the difference of metabolic activity was significant in medial temporal lobes which was revealed by ASI quantitation. Conclusion: Asymmetric decrease of metabolic activity in both medial and lateral temporal lobes indicates medial temporal epilepsy. Symmetry of metabolic activity in medial temporal lobe combined with asymmetry of that in lateral temporal lobe may give hints that the epileptogenic zone is lateral.
