경제위기와 건강문화

최근 세계는 사실상의 제3차 대전이라는 경제전쟁에 깊숙이 돌입하면서 총체적인 경제위기를 맞고 있다. 이러한 경제위기에서의 최고의 경쟁력은 건강이라 할 수 있다. 경제위기의 극복은 경제성장의 요소인 자본, 노동, 기술, 자원 등만으로는 한계가 있으며, 개인의 능력과 재능을 개발하고 자신의 꿈을 펼칠 수 있는 사회복지 환경의 조성과 신체적, 정신적, 사회적으로 건강한 국민을 육성할 수 있을 때 지속적인 경제발전이 가능한 것이다. 즉, 한 국가의 경제력은 그 사회의 생산성을 이룩한 국민건강의 수준과 비례하기 때문에 경제력과 국민건강의 관계는 분리시켜 생각할 수 없는 상호의존적 관계라 할 수 있다. 특히 우리 나라의 경우 해방 이후 오늘날까지 경제발전만을 최우선 정책 과제로 여겨오면서 서유럽이 몇백년 동안 겪었던 사회적 변화를 불과 몇 십년 동안의 경험으로 대체해온 결과, 고도의 압축 성장은 이룩했지만 결국은 엄청난 대가와 함께 최대의 경제위기인 IMF시대를 맞게 했다. 이러한 과정과 결과에 대한 책임은 국민 모두에게 있다 할지라도 문제의 심각성은 경제위기는 곧 국민건강위기와 직결될 수도 있다는 점이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 경제위기 상황에서의 국민 건강을 보호하고 증진시키며, 더 이상의 국민 건강 악화를 방지하기 위한 목적에서 바람직한 '건강문화'를 재정립시키려는데 초점을 두고자 한다. 이를 위해 건강문화의 주요 영역별 쟁점과 경제위기 후에 나타난 건강문화의 변화된 모습, 그리고 IMF시대에 있어서 새로운 건겅문화 모색을 위한 정책 대안을 제시해 보고자 한다.

웹기반 대화형 전문가시스템에 대한 연구

In this paper, we present a shell interface of expert system which complement the weak points of existing expert system using World Wide Web as user interface. The sell interface is independent of development environment and minimize the overload of client. This centralized management system connects with server program and WWW through a socket and CGI communicates with intermediator. The intermediator runs the shell of expert system as sub-processor, they communicate with each other by pipe. The shell of expert system redirects a standard I/O to the pipe and synchronizes the I/O because it is an interactive system.

노인 사회체육의 전망과 과제 : 여성노인을 중심으로

First of all, as the old women paid attention the health, the sports activity of the women should be regarded to the matintenance of health recreation of the old women, the following conditions should be fulfilled. First, the senility is not the illness and it should be perceived as the natural phenomena as well as the social and biochemical process. Regardless of participation ahd ono-participation of community recreation since the abult valuable benefits on lives through the whole life. Second, the senility should not recognized to the symbol of sedentary life We should not overlook the fact that the old women is abie to participate the dynamic activity rater than the youth and the adult. Third, in order to be capable of the partioipation of community recreation of the old women continuously, we should iead to the active participation of the old women and the undertaking of the various items. Fourth, as the social acceptance of the community recreation of the old women will be popular and the opportunity of sports particiaption from the institution of the community recreation to elite sports institution will be increased, the need of community recreation should be created. Fifth, we should experience that the participation of community recreation from the adult contribute to the promotion and maintenance of the good quality of life and the well-fare of individual and the nation.

有機農業의 實態와 發展에 관한 事例 硏究 : 忠南 洪城郡 洪東面 有機農家를 中心으로

This study was carried out to improve the organic farming system about crop cultivation, compost production and application, plant diseases & pest control, weed control and marketing system of organic farming products to the case study in Chungnam Hongdong area. Agricultural technologies concerning pest & diseases control, weed control and compost production are not established due to lacks of systemized researches by the agricultural scientist, and agricultural machines profitable to this works had not developed yet. In cropping system, reasonable crop rotation had not conducted. The related cultivation of vegetables on the same ground for a long time cause a various plant disease easily. So crop rotation is a reasonable method about soil nutrient utility and soil disease control. It is a good method that introduce the barley and wheat in this field crop system. Those crop have a long root, so can use the other nutrient against the vegetable. In organic farming products, the safety and quality of products by the National Agricultural Products Inspection Center had not inspected except rice, lettus and apple. Inspection is needed for the development of organic farming and mutual confidence between producer and consumer, because the mutual confidence is a major thing to sustain the organic farming. In products marketing, it is more need for the information of organic farming products. Nowaday most products are marketed in Seoul region, but it is not a good method. To search the consumer in near region is a good method for decrease the cost of conveyance and maintain the quality of products. The varieties of distribution structure of organic farming products are required. The products are sold to department store in large city and the prices are about 30% higher than normal products. But when those are supplied in near region, the prices of those are similar to normal products. Direct transactions in near regions is a good method for decrease the cost of conveyance and strength the mutual confidence between producer and consumer.

주의력결핍 과잉행동장애 아동의 지적수준에 따른 정신병리와 실행기능의 차이

To investigate psychopathoIogy and executive functions of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) children according to intelligence level, this study included 197 ADHD children who visited the outpatient department of neuropsychiatry of YeungNam University Medical Center, from July 2000 to June 2002. The children were divided into groups based on their intelligence levels. They were compared by the Personality Inventory for Children (PIC), Conncers' Continuous Performence Test (CPT), and Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST). There were significant differences in PIC, on the subscales of verbal development, socialization and autism. In the CPT, there was no significant difference. In the WCST, there were significant differences in the total number of errors, the number of perseverative errors, the number of completed categories and the number of trials needed to complete the first category. Considering these results, the intelligence level of ADHD children is related to their disabilities and behavioral symptoms.Executive functions such as abstract thinking, categorization, working memory and flexibility had significant relationship to the intelligence levels of ADHD children. Therefore, the intelligence level of children with ADHD influences the higher executive functions of regulating attention and information processing rather than attentional functions and capacity alone.

다한증환자의 흉부교감신경절단술시 양측 손바닥의 온도변화

Background: Thoracoscopic T2 sympathicotomy is an effective method for the treatment of palmar hyperhidrosis. Not only are the symptoms of hyperhidrosis abolished but also the temperature of the ipsilateral palm is elevated due to the sympatholytic vasodilation after the completion of the sympathicotomy on the first side. However little is known about the temperature changes in the contralateral palm. This study was performed to evaluate the changes in both palmar temperatures during the thoracoscopic T2 sympathicotomy for palmar hyperhidrosis. Material and Method: Thoracoscopic T2 sympathicotomy was performed in 15 patients with primary palmar hyperhidrosis. Surface temperatures of both palms were monitored continuously and were recorded simultaneously during the 7 different stages of the operation. Result: When T2 sympathicotomy was performed on the first(left) side, an ipsilateral increase with a contralateral decrease of temperature was observed. The difference in the temperature of both palms was greatest just before the sympathicotomy on the contralateral(right) side(Lt. 34.6$\pm$0.9$^{\circ}C$ vs. Rt. 31.6$\pm$1.3$^{\circ}C$, P<0.0001). After the sympathicotomy on the second(right) side, temperature of the right palm was elevated. The difference in the temperature of both palms was abolished at the end of the operation(Lt.34.7$\pm$0.9$^{\circ}C$ vs. Rt.34.4$\pm$1.$0^{\circ}C$, P=0.415). Conclusion: When T2 sympathicotomy was performed on the first side, an ipsilateral palmar temperature increased due to the sympatholytic vasodilation. However contralateral palmar temperature decreased due to a vasoconstriction. Although the mechanism of vasoconstriction is still unknown, it is postulated that there may be a cross- inhibitory effect by the post-ganglionic neurons innervating blood vessels of the palm. 배경: 흉강경을 이용한 T2 교감신경절단술은 수장부다한증의 효과적인 치료법이다. 교감신경을 절단하면 다한증 증상이 소실되는 것은 물론 피하혈관의 확장으로 동측 손바닥 온도가 올라간다. 그러나 반대측 손바닥의 온도 변화에 대해서는 밝혀진 바가 적다. 저자들은 수장부다한증 환자에서 교감신경절단술 과정에 나타나는 양측 손바닥 온도의 변화양상을 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 일차성 수장부다한증 환자 15명에서 T2 교감신경절단술을 시행하였다. 수술중 양측 손바닥에 피부온도감지패취를 부착하여 손바닥의 온도를 관찰기록하였다. 결과: 먼저 좌측 2번 흉부교감신경을 절단하자 동측 손바닥의 온도는 상승하고 반대측 손바닥의 온도는 감소하였다. 두 손바닥의 온도차는 우측 교감신경절단전에 가장 컸으며(좌측 34.6$\pm$0.9 $^{\circ}C$, 우측 31.6$\pm$1.3$^{\circ}C$, P < 0.0001) 반대쪽(우측) 교감신경을 절단하자 감소하였던 우측 손바닥의 온도가 상승하여 수술종료시 두 손바닥의 온도차가 없어졌다(좌측 34.7$\pm$1.0 $^{\circ}C$, 우측 34.4$\pm$1.0 $^{\circ}C$, P=0.415). 결론: 수장부 다한증에서 교감신경절단술을 시행할 때는 상지에 분포하는 교감신경이 정확히 차단되었는가를 확인하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해서 수술중 손바닥 피부온도를 측정하여 온도상승을 확인한다. 반대측 손바닥 온도가 감소하는 기전인 혈관수축에는 교차억제효과(Cross inhibitory effect)가 관계될 것으로 생각되며 향후 이에 대한 많은 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 생각된다.

Feasibility Study on KSNP Adaption of French Digital Protection System

Upgrade of nuclear power plant I&C systems by using digital technology has been implemented to overcome the obsolescence of existing equipment and improve plant availability in many advanced countries. For upgrade of the Plant Protection System(PPS) based on conventional analog technology in the UCN 3&4 and YGN 5&6, French modernized Digital Integrated Protection System(DIPS) with proven technology is reviewed and evaluated for the adaptability into PPS. This paper contains the results of feasibility study for the design of digital PPS using French DIPS technology. Based on the results of evaluations, the system architecture of digital PPS is designed and described.
