Background: Patients with ESRD on maintenance hemodialysis are poor responders to clopidogrel. The aim of this study was to assess the functional impact of ticagrelor in end stage renal disease (ESRD) patients receiving maintenance hemodialysis. Methods: In a single-center, prospective, randomized, crossover study, 25 ESRD patients on hemodialysis were assigned to receive ticagrelor (180 mg loading, 90 mg twice daily for maintenance dose) or clopidogrel (300 mg loading, 75 mg once daily for maintenance dose) for 14 days, and after a 14-day washout period, crossover treatment assignment for another 14 days. Platelet function was evaluated before and after antiplatelet therapy via light transmittance aggregometry and VerifyNowTM P2Y12 assay, and genotyping was performed for CYP2C19*2 status. Results: Higher inhibition of platelet aggregation (IPA) at both 5 and 20 μmol/L ADP stimuli occurred with ticagrelor than with clopidogrel at 1, 5, and 48 hours, and 2 weeks after loading (Figure). By 5 hours after loading, a greater proportion of patients in the ticagrelor group than in the clopidogrel group achieved IPA >50% (75% versus 12%, respectively, p < 0.05), and IPA >70% (44% versus 0%, respectively, p < 0.05). The rates (slope) of onset and offset of the antiplatelet effect were faster in patients on ticagrelor than on clopidogrel (P<0.05). Regardless of status of CYP2C19*2 allele, the ticagrelor group showed signifi cantly lower P2Y12 reaction units at all times after loading and during maintenance. Conclusions: Ticagrelor achieved more rapid and greater platelet inhibition than clopidogrel did in ESRD patients on hemodialysis.

The purpose of this study was to reduce the hemolysis of artificial red blood cells by extracting phospolipids from egg yolk through microencapsulation to evaluate the oxygen transfer rate of artificial red blood cells in an intravascular artificial lung device. In this study, hemosome was produced to encapsulate hemoglobin which extracted the red blood cell of bovine blood with phospolipids reduced egg yolk. The solution blended blood with hemosome at the rate of 4 to 1 and normal blood measured the oxygen transfer rate. The hemolysis of the microencapsulated artificial red blood cell measured less than the normal red blood cell through absorptivity. Due to the phospolipids enclosing the red blood cell to protect it, the produced hemosome operated at a higher oxygen transfer rate by reducing the demolition of hemoglobin. Consequently, hemolysis was observed to advance through micoencapsulation.
밀도류에 대한 대수응력모델의 경계층근사 적용에 관한 연구

Solving buoyant surface jet, the most important problem is the expression of turbulent transport. In this study, the compatibility of boundary layer approximation of Algebraic Stress Model(ASM) which has been applying to predict the turbulent transport in buoyant surface jet are considered. The results which has been compared the computations of boundary layer approximation equations with experiments showed. As the results of this study, the hypothesis of boundary layer approximation expressed the transport by buoyancy in buoyant surface jet exactly, the hypothesis of boundary layer approximation was valid for simulation of buoyant surface jet by Algebraic Stress Model(ASM)

반응온도가 증가할수록 Brand별 철광석의 환원율은 증가하였으며 일정반응온도에서 원광석형태인 Romeral 보다 펠렛형태인 CVRD,IOC 및 ALG 시편의 환원율이 더 높음을 알수 있었고 펠레시편 중 IOC가 타 시편에 비해 환원율이 가장 큼을 알 수 있었다. 수소가스에 의한 원광석 및 펠렛시편의 환원반응에서 전반응속도는 계면화학반응에 의해 율속됨을 알 수 있었으며, 활성화에너지값은 Romeral, CVRD, IOC 및 ALG의 경우 각각 약 4.8, 7.7, 4.5 및 5.3kcal/mol이었다. 이들 활성화에너지값으로부터 수소가스에 의한 환원반응은 펠렛형인 IOC가 가장 우수함을 알 수 있었다. In order to get an fundamental data to select a suitable ore brand for hydrogen reduction, the reaction kinetics of hydrogen for ore brands was investigated. Four kinds of ore brands such as Romeral ore, CVRD, IOC,ALG pellet were selected for this experiment. It was observed that the reduction ratio of pellets was higher than ore and IOC pellet showed the highest in comparing with other pellets. The kinetics data was fitted to [1-(1-R)1/3] = kt for surface reaction control. The activation energy for the reduction of Romeral, CVRD, IOC and ALG were 4.8, 7.7, 4.5 and 5.3 kcal/mol respectively. It was shown that the overall reduction rate was controlled by surface reaction. And also, we can get result that IOC was the most suitable ore for the reduction with hydrogen gas among the specimens
