Chloride ions are considered to be the major cause of steel corrosion in concrete structures exposed to seashore environments and also permeation of chloride is controlled by chloride diffusion. Therefore, the study on chloride diffusion of concrete have been done so far by many researchers. In this study, several factors such as capacity of voltage, time of an electric current, concentration of NaCl solution, water-cement ratio, and temperature of the solution were examined to grasp what influence they were on the chloride ion diffusion properties using the Rapid Chloride Penetration Test(RCPT) by electrophoresis. Also standing on the basis of the such result application possibility of Rapid Chloride Penetration Test(RCPT) used in this study will be evaluated and the basic data on the durability design for the chloride attack will be suggested.

Objective: The aims of this study were to measure and compare the facial dimensions of the Miss Korea pageant contestants and a selected group of women from the general population by using three-dimensional (3D) image analysis, as well as to compare various facial ratios to the golden ratio within each group. Methods: Three-dimensional images of 52 Miss Korea pageant contestants (MK group) and 41 young female adults selected from the general population (GP group) were acquired. Fifty-four variables and ratios were measured and calculated. Intergroup comparisons were performed using multivariate analysis of variance. Results: Compared to the GP group, the MK group showed greater total facial height and eye width, lesser lower-facial height, and lesser facial, lower-facial, and nasal widths. Moreover, compared to the GP group, the MK group had more protruded noses with greater nasolabial angle, greater vertical curvature of the foreheads, lesser horizontal curvature of the cheek, and lesser lower-lip-and-chin volume. Conclusions: The MK group had longer faces but smaller lower lips and chins than did the GP group. The golden ratio was not matching the current facial esthetic standards. These data might be beneficial for treatment planning of patients undergoing orthognathic and plastic surgeries.

Phlegmonous gastritis is a rare form of gastritis caused by a pus-forming bacterial infection of the wall of the stomach. Emphysematous gastritis is an unusual variant of phlegmonous gastritis caused by gasforming organisms. Two cases of phlegmonous gastritis subsequent to accidental ingestion of formalin is reported. One case showed bubble air in the gastric wall on plain abdominal X-ray, UGI barium study and abdominal C-T scan suggestive of emphysematous gastritis. Fiberoptic gastroscopy showed foul odor purulent discharge in the gastric lumen and diffuse ulcerative lesion from cardioesophageal junction to pylorus. Culture of gastric aspirates grew E. coli. Total gastrectomy with esophagojejunostomy, feeding jejunostomy, and pus evacuation with drainage from left paracolic gutter were performed. This patient was died on hospital 46 day. Another patient showed similar endoscopic finding to the first patient. Culture of gastric aspirate grew Pseudomonas aerugionsa. This patient was improved with intensive antibiotics. He returned to our hospital because of progression of dysphagia. UGI films and gastroscopic findings showed marked narrowing of gastric lumen. He was transferred to another hospital for proper surgery.

Purpose: This study explored strategies aimed at revitalizing wellness tourism in the post-coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) era, and investigated consumer perceptions of wellness tourism before and after the outbreak of COVID-19. Design/methodology/approach: Keywords pertaining to wellness tourism were extracted from social media platforms, such as Naver, Daum, and the social network service (SNS) Facebook, as well as from the search engine Google.Text mining, frequency analysis, centrality analysis, and CONCOR analysis were conducted on the extracted keywords. The study period was divided into pre- and post-COVID-19 outbreak periods (4,984 and 4,360 keywords, respectively). In total, 100 and 50 searches were analyzed in the pre- and post-outbreak periods, respectively. Findings: Prior to the outbreak, awareness of wellness tourism and programs appear to have been high, while after the outbreak specific wellness tourism destinations, including Jeju and Gangwon, were recognized. In addition, the desire for healing of both body and mind appeared to be greater after the outbreak. Research limitations/implications: In the post-COVID era, local governments and policymakers will need to develop programs to boost local wellness tourism. Advertising and promotion on online social media platforms and SNS, emphasizing the positive effects of wellness tourism such as healing and meditation, could further increase the number of visitors to these destinations. Comparative research on wellness tourism in different countries will also be important, as perceptions of COVID-19 may vary among various countries such as Korea, Japan, and China. Originality/value: In the past, wellness tourism studies focused on research topics such as tourism development and tourism motivation, but this study resulted in the expansion of the research by applying the social media big data analysis method, which has recently attracted attention in the hospitality industry.
